Nally’s Barber Shop

Nallys is my go to place for a haircut. I have been going to Nallys for years for several reasons.
1. They shave your neck with a straight razor
2. They use the old school massaging vibrators
3. They will also trim my facial hair at no extra fee
I’d recommend Nallys to anybody wanting a personal touch during your haircutting experience.

My husband just went in for a haircut. He was hoping that since they are a barber shop, they would have a straight razor, but they didn’t. Their shortest shave is a 00. A 00 was about ¹⁄₁₆ in. from his head. They just don’t have the correct tools for a military style haircut. They tried hard, but it’s all uneven and way too long. $ 14 and we have to redo it. He won’t go again for his military style haircut.

This was the third and last time I let women give me a hot towel shave. Most women ‘barbers’ clearly do not understand a man’s face like a male barber.
Even though there were 3 women in the shop, let’s call my barber, Nally.
1) The first think I noticed when I entered was that the place smelled like a thousand cats lived there at night.
2) When I asked for a HOT towel shave, she delivered a LUKEWARM worn & stained towel she warmed under the sink behind me. There was no towel warmer. I guess their delicate worn hands can’t handle the scalding towels.
3) There was no preparation for my face except the lukewarm towel. I left with butchered neck and red bumps/​patches all over.
4) Nally should stop smoking if she’s going to breathe in people’s faces.
5) The barber chair was incredibly uncomfortable.
6) My beard was completely uneven on the edges. I didn’t want her to fix anything, I just wanted to get out as fast as possible.
7) Her smoker’s cough was the cherry on the sundae for me.

Nally’s is a great barber shop. Been taking my son there since he was a toddler (after another neighborhood barber said he didn’t do kids — can you imagine?). Now my son is in high school and he won’t go anywhere else.
