Mark did an amazing job altering my wedding dress which had quite a few issues with the fit. He was professional and had a good sense of humor. You can tell he does an immaculate job just by looking at him. I don’t think that man has a stray thread on his perfectly fitted clothing anywhere!

A small tailoring shop where craftsmanship and pride in work are still performed and valued. The proprietor is friendly and professional and treats each customer with great care and personal attention. You might pay a little more than the local contracted seamstress at the dry cleaners but the quality will be far superior and the service worlds apart.
The store front is rather simple and plainly adorned, your not there to look at the artwork your there to have customer fitted tailoring by an expert who knows how materials are supposed to drape and how they should fit you. He will take the time to make modifications that fit your tastes as well as make suggestions for your body style.
Its completely out of my way but worth the extra drive to get work that elevates rather than detracts, when clothes fit poorly they reflect on you and people do judge you by your presentation. Spending a few dollars more to have your clothes fit right and compliment your body is worth it in your own comfort and confidence.
They understand this and work to serve you with a positive and professional way rarely seen in any kind of retail anymore. Yeah, I’m a fan.

I’ve had several articles of clothing altered by Mark, owner/​operator here at London custom tailors, and have nothing but the best word for his service and workmanship. He altered my (now ex) wife’s wedding dress, a couple wool peacoats, and some slacks and the fit and finish has been excellent on all these. His pricing is very fair considering his expertise and the location is very convenient.

I am furious with this place. I drooped off a pair of track pants that I needed hemmed and was going to wear the day of my wedding while getting ready. He had said he would have them done the day before, but I later realized I would not be able to pick them up that day so I called and asked if he could have them done a day earlier. He said yes and then completely forgot. I showed up to pick them up and they had not been touched. My mother had to bring sewing supplies with her and hem them the day of the ceremony!
