Kentucky Eye Care was founded in 1899 by Dr. Adolph O. Pfingst. It was the first, and therefore is the longest operating, ophthalmology practice in the state of Kentucky. In a quest to spend the remainder of my medical spending account I had my eyes examined at the Shelbyville location of this business.
One week later and still trying to spend before the end of the year I visited the Louisville location to get my new prescription filled. This large office has a much better selection of frames.
The staff is all quite capable and makes good recommendations. After choosing the frames the employee helping me had me sit and carefully measured the correct location on the particular glasses for my prescription.
She looked up my Dental care plan and was able to calculate the discount on my purchase. Before committing to the purchase she patiently itemized and explained each charge. Of course, I arranged to pay at the time of visit so the expense would be in 2011.
Thanks for the professional, courteous, drop in visit. I’ll be back next year.
