Long story short– they ruined my light colored blazer by washing it with dark pieces and refused to issue me a refund for it even after I produced a receipt. I was told that the damage«wasn’t that bad» and that the owner would offer me an in-store credit for the price of the blazer… After requesting to speak to the owner and giving my phone number to the worker, I never got a call back. I stopped in the following week s d was offered $ 20 cash and a $ 20 store credit. I took the cash and my blazer back. My advice is to spend the extra money and take your clothing to Highlands Cleaners. This place is a joke.

I took my drapes here to have them dry cleaned and when I got them home they had holes all in the liners and when I took them back the employee said it looked like they got the machine to hot so she told me she would have the owner call me, it took them 3 days to call me back and it was the employee teling me that I had 2 options, 1 they could take the liner off of my drapes that they ruined or 2 I could take them back to the place where I bought them cause they did exactly what it said dry clean only, clearly it’s your fault or you wouldn’t have offered to take the liner off, so I told the employee I wasn’t happy with that because I’m out my drapes and the money I paid for them be dry cleaned so I asked her to have the owner call me and it took 2 days and for me to call the employee 3 times and tell her that he still has not called so finally he has, I guess the guy that does his dry cleaning for him to give me the same old news that I need to take them back to where I bought them that they did what the label said and there must be a defect in the drapes of course they don’t want to accept responsibility for there mess up so of course I talk to bed bath and beyond where I purchased them and the lady said she has been there 17 years and has never heard of anything like that. So I would never take anything to them unless you want to have to go to court cause that’s exactly what I have to do to make this business pay for ruining my drapes.

I was initially excited to purchase a Groupon for this dry cleaner, which resides in a convenient location on the outskirts of the Highlands. I brought them three dress shirts and a pair of pants. I returned — as advised — to pick them up on a designated day(Wednesday) the following week, and the workers were unable to locate my clothes. «They aren’t ready yet,» they said, «but they will be tomorrow.» So I returned the next day and received the same story. Each time I came in, the workers scrambled around, unable to find my clothes, making the same phone calls to the same mystery outsourcing facility, and ultimately shrugging at me and concluding, «They’ll be ready tomorrow or the next day.» They always took down my number and never called me when they promised they would. Ultimately, I stopped in eight times over four weeks, politely relating my story each time to disinterested, unconcerned desk clerks. Finally, my clothes mysteriously materialized. The two weddings I needed my clothing ready for had both long since passed. The business then had the gall to ask me for the extra $ 3 my Groupon didn’t cover. «That’s not happening,» I said. «If anything, you guys should be issuing me a full refund.» «I don’t have the power to do that,» the worker said. «Well let me talk to someone who does; I’d like to speak to the owner, please.» The establishment refused to give me a contact number for the owner, or even a manager. They didn’t provide me with a refund, or even offer me a credit. On top of it all, my clothes were poorly pressed and wrinkled. If this place burns to the ground, we’ll all be better off.
