I came here because of a groupon I purchased. The groupon was expired so I wanted to use the credit towards a pedicure. I explained this to one of the instructors upon arrival. I started getting my pedicure which was great. One of the educators came and redeemed my groupon and my pedicure continued. Halfway through Nancy, the director approaches me in a confrontational manner and with a mouth full of food yells at me that I can’t use my groupon on nails, because they never had one for nails. I explain that I’m using the credit and she gets louder and more aggressive about not using the groupon for nails. I explained that I paid $ 26 for the groupon and the pedicure is $ 19, and that the company already has my money. She runs off to print off the rules while the original teacher tells me to continue and not worry about it. This whole interaction upset me to tears. Nancy storms back in with a print out and I told her to get out of my face and talk to the other teacher who already stated that she would take it. Nancy threatened to put me out. Meanwhile I am so upset that I am shaking. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience and instead Nancy the Director made it an extremely terrible experience. I wouldn’t talk to a dog the way she talked to me. I WILL NEVER RETURN.

I came here on a Saturday morning for a facial. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted and given an information sheet to complete. I let them know I had a Groupon to use so they wrote that down.
I was taken upstairs where I was asked some more questions related to my skin. They were very thorough! At that point, I put on a towel and was instructed to lie down. My esthetician examined my face under a light for a good amount of time before pulling in a senior student to confirm what she thought she saw (mostly skin congestion).
I upgraded to a special facial and an extra serum, so my actual facial wound up taking closer to 2 hours. On any other day, I would NOT be complaining about a facial going longer than planned, but I was in a bit of a hurry. Wasn’t a huge deal, though. I’ll just account for more time the next time I go. There were many, many steps she took in treating my face, including masks, warm pads over my eyes, steamer, and extractions (grosssss). Overall, it was very relaxing and I felt great afterwards. This was better than the facial I paid three times as much for at another salon (but keep in mind, this is a school).
All in all, I’d be back and I would recommend this as well (especially with the Groupon deal!). I’d never heard of any of the products they recommended to me, so I’m not sure I’d purchase those without doing my research first.

I’ve been here twice: once for a manicure and once for a :60m facial. The manicure was fair, but the facial was Awesome! I felt so clean and refreshed after the facial that I made another appointment for the following month. I can’t wait. Probably won’t go back for a manicure as I felt like it is worth the extra few dollars to get it done at a regular nail salon.

Couple of things to mention and call out quickly. If you don’t know, this is a school and services are rendered by student with the supervision of teachers. So, when you first walk in, you can tell it’s a learning area for students and not some 4 class salon and spa.
That being said, I really enjoyed my 60 minute facial. I walked in the first time a little hestitant, but I was greated by an extremely friendly woman at the front counter. She advised me my facial would be upstairs and as I walked my anticipation grew. I had gotten a facial at a very expensive aveda salon before, and wasn’t the biggest fan, so I didn’t know what to expect going to a school.
Before we began, I was asked questions on my skin condition and my current treatments. After, I was asked to lay on the table.
The student who did my facial did an AMAZING job. While I could hear some student outside learning, I was still extremely calm and relaxed… the spa music drowned most of it all out. Halfway through my facial she had to examine my skin under the light. Immediately following, she has a whispered conversation with her teacher about her thoughts on proceeding, again, which didn’t bother me.
It is a school, so prices are cheaper. If you are looking for a cheap facial, this school is a great place to get one.
