Hester’s Family Fitness and Recreation Center has been built on the premise that personal fitness is one of the most important aspects of peoples lives. We are dedicated to creating a friendly, healthy environment where people of all ages can come and develop healthy lives.

Our programs are designed with the family in mind. There are activities and classes for all ages and the classes are scheduled for the convenience of the entire family. We Offer:

Karate, Rock Climbing, Aerobics, Weight Lifting, Raquetball, Basketball and Child Care while you work out.

History

Established in 1990.

Kenny Hester, a 3^rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon DO, started Kentucky Karate Club. Over the years he had the vision of a center where people could come and play and work out together, in a family atmosphere, and develop a healthy life.

He wanted to expand the Karate Center to combine a fitness center, gymnastics and other elements for the whole family. He was introduced to indoor rock climbing and saw the immediate comparison to the other elements of his center. On October 1^st 1998 Hester’s Family Fitness and Recreation Center was opened.
