About Alex — Alex grew up in Louisville and at a young age took interest in the turf industry. Before he could drive he would catch a ride with his brother to work at Nevel Meade golf course where he saved enough money to by his first mower. After a few seasons at Nevel Meade he started working at Hurstbourne Country Club perfecting his skills and furthering his knowledge for the turf industry. Working his summer job afforded him to buy his first commercial lawn mower so he could start mowing lawns in his neighborhood after work. Through high school Alex worked on his entrepreneurship waking up early to mow at the golf course and mowing lawns, and landscaping in the evenings. After high school Alex attended Western Kentucky where he studied Turf and Horticulture. While in Bowling Green he started a successful lawn care and irrigation company and sold it after college. Alex was recruited after college to work for a national landscape company back in Louisville where he learned th
