Chad and James took great care of my things. They moved me from a 3rd floor apt to another 3rd floor apt (Louisville, KY to Cookeville, TN) for an affordable rate. They did not wrap any furniture however, they were so careful that it was unnecessary. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

We had booked movers with a different moving company in town to help us unload our storage container. They were supposed to arrive at 9am on a Saturday and they didn’t show up. We were up against a deadline as our storage container had to be picked up that afternoon or we would be charged an additional fee. We called around to several other moving companies to try and get last minute help — when we called DZ Moving, they said they could come help us as soon as they were done with their current job. I described the concern with our deadline and then they called back about one hour later, said they had finished the other job early and were headed to our house. I was so impressed with their willingness to try and help us. Since we had already started unloading earlier that morning, most of our items were done when they arrived except for the heavy pieces. After helping us with those, they helped us assemble both of our wooden bed frames to make use of the 2-​hour minimum charge they have. The help was much appreciated and the staff were friendly and professional.

I highly recommend DZ moving! They showed up on time and were professional and hard-​working. I felt totally comfortable with them handling my furniture and my things. I had such a positive experience with them that I’m using them again two months later to move out of my storage facility and into my new house. I’ve already referred them to a friend! Ask for Will and Bob :)

Starting with my move. All four of the gentlemen who were involved in haulin my junk were friendly and actually very fun to talk to. They kept a consistent pace and worked with the proper sense of urgency I look for when I am being charged by the hour. As for price you can’t beat it they were drastically lower in price than any of the other moving companies I talked to.
I also chose to store my stuff in their storage facilities. When all my stuff could not fit in the units because the owner told me it would fit no problem he let me have another unit at no charge.
I have had several special requests the company has done a fantastic job dealing with my BS. I love this company, and they come with my highest recommendation.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The ABSOLUTE WORST moving company I have ever dealt with. They didn’t finish the job, left furniture broken or dismantled; including leaving my couch unusable without the legs reapplied and breaking a custom made table, they were late, brought a too small truck, took constant smoke breaks, phone calls, stopped working for rain and to eat a lunch I provided, finally they charged me 800 dollars for an 8 hour move that should have taken 4 tops. I have had to go back to my old apartment 5 times with 2 SUV’s to remove the left over items, including book cases, a microwave and clothing drawers. The owner will not call me back after almost daily calls to try to resolve this issue.

My family used DZ to move from Lexington to Louisville recently. Very nice folks and competitive pricing. Best part yet, we needed a storage facility to hold everything we had. They were very negotiable on the prices!

2 hours late!!! No call letting me know of a delay. I had to move my tv’s off before they got there since I had cable scheduled for 2 hours after the time they should have been there. I had to call twice to get a status. First time left a voicemail, then 30 minutes later called again and finally got someone. Movers got there and unloaded the truck. They were polite but really 2 hours late? Wasn’t a happy camper, they could have offered a discount or at least expressed a little empathy regarding their fail on service and advising the customer of a delay.

The movers who came out were very nice however we told them several time to wrap all of our furniture and stuff since we were moving over 2000 miles away. When we unloaded nothing was wrapped they just draped blinkers over stuff so most of furniture like couches and chairs were completely dirty. Our brand new front loaders were damaged also due to them not wrapping stuff correctly. We were charged 600.00 for them to just put stuff on a truck I would think for that amount of money they could wrap stuff like we asked so things would not get broken.

We used DZ moving for our move and they were awesome. Sean and David showed up on time, were professional, and got the job done quickly. They packed our items into the truck with care and moved things into the house quickly. I would recommend this moving company to anyone in the Louisville metro area. I Found this company from a friend, who used DZ Moving before. They did an awesome job! Can’t beat the low price, professionalism and clean crew! The owner was very professional and called to make sure everything was alright during the move. I had a few delicate items and sure enough they had all the necessary equipment to get the job done. I had another move and it was a Friday and they were booked, but I need to leave my current location that day, the owner was very helpful and reassured me that his crew would make it to my house. Even came out personally to make sure it got done. Will definitely recommend DZ Moving to everyone !!

I can’t say enough good things about DZ Moving. I’m a busy professional and don’t have a lot of free time to waste seeking dependable and quality service. When I heard these guys did a move for Rick Pitino (Go Cards!) I figured what’s good enough for Rick is good enough for me. The truck arrived on time and the two movers weren’t messing around. They were courteous, worked quickly, and used all the right equipment. I was most afraid about my flat screen and racing bike — both were secured to my satisfaction. Everything arrived just as it had been before. What else can you ask for? Will definitely be looking for DZ Moving for my next move. Thanks, Jerry and Daniel!
