This is a convenient location, close to my work, which is a big plus. Obviously standard menu for Culver’s, no surprise there. Often when I get my lunch here, I have a short wait for my food and I have seen other customers get upset with that. After my short wait, the staff is always friendly, apologizing for the wait and my food is always fresh, so it has never bothered me.

First, the food is top notch and the hamburgers are made to order. You have to get past«it’s not ice cream» and try the frozen custard. The employees are all about customer service, smiles galore and they genuinely enjoy their job. The root beer is as creamy as any I have ever had.

So disappointed usually Culvers mean chicken hot juicy and crispy, mash potatoes with lovely gravy. This was not the case here at all, the chicken was warming as were the sides, they forgot my roll and the lemon freeze and strawberries was meh, maybe that because my meal was sad.

I’ve only had Culver’s frozen custard, but I am SO glad I did. It’s absolutely delicious! It’s thick, creamy, and eggy. I only got a single scoop, but it was so rich I couldn’t finish it. Their caramel sauce is also delicious. I find the jarred stuff from the store tastes oily or plastic-y, but this tasted like real caramel. I will definitely go back again on a nice, warm day that screams for ice cream.

Love that they play Christian music sometimes. My kids ask for this place over mcdonalds all the time. Large selection and great fast food.

Decent burgers and shakes. Restaurant is clean. Better than the big burger chains, but Five Guys has much better burgers and fries. I prefer hand-dipped shakes, so Culvers’ custard shakes, while good, aren’t worth a special trip.

This is not what I was expecting. From the exterior, Culver’s reminds me of a Denny’s or maybe a Frisch’s. And that’s what I expected when I walked in. However, upon entering, the atmosphere is more reminiscent of a nice Dairy Queen. It’s all rather discombobulating, this conglomeration of fast-food counter service and canned family sit-down. It’s as if the ownership wasn’t entirely sure of what kind of restaurant they were and it’s slightly off-putting. Once I put up my prejudices, the food though, is not bad. The burgers are solid(don’t order a single though) and the ice cream and shakes are fairly top notch. Nonetheless, I still came away dissatisfied and unlikely to return. One, the location is odd, sitting so far off Preston Highway that it’s easy to miss, and two, compared to it’s true competitors(DQ, Steak N Shake, Frischs, Jerry’s, even Sonic) it’s simply OK. This is a maximum 3-stars. — 30 —

Hubby and I had the pot roast meal; pot roast and gravy covering 2 slices of grilled sourdough, meal comes with 2 sides. I had the mashed potatoes and green beans. Overall, this meal is one of the best they have; very close to home cooking and the portions are extremely generous. Hubby always eats half of mine because I can’t finish it all. Kids meals always come with a free sundae so there is no pressure with telling your kids no because it’s included! This location also honors military discounts; ++++++ in my book!
