Beef Jerky Outlet is a franchise with over 50 stores nationwide. Louisville is home to the only store in the entire state of KY.

Business Owner

Hi, I was born and raised in Monroe, MI. I developed a taste for jerky while traveling in northern MI. We would stop and load up on all kinds of great jerky every time we passed through. Although we called it jerky, it was actually a smoked meat that we were eating.

In 2001 I accepted a new job and moved to Central City, KY. I soon relocated to Shelbyville, KY when our company opened up another location. While traveling all over the state, I often would stop and load up on gas station jerky to snack on throughout the day. While this became my normal routine, I missed the great smoked meat I grew up eating in MI.

With my wife’s support, I pursued the opportunity to open my own beef jerky store. We both love Louisville, and look forward to showing off our store!
