History

Established in 2007.

Genia Bonyun received a Bachelors Degree in 1997 with study in dance, psychology of touch, kinesiology, movement analysis, anatomy, and related areas. Genia was trained in the Lauterstein Deep Massage Technique at the Lauterstein Conway Massage School in Austin, Texas, one of the nation’s leading massage schools. Genia graduated in the top of her class from both basic and advanced training.

Genia began a private practice in massage therapy in 2007. Balance Therapeutic Massage was established in 2011.

Genia is Nationally Certified by the NCTMB. She is a member of Associated Massage and Bodywork Professionals, as well as the Frankfort Avenue Business Association in Louisville, KY
