Alley Cat Advocates provides for the humane treatment of unowned cats in Kentuckiana by directing a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. The organization has spayed/neutered, vaccinated and provided medical care to over 30,000 unowned community cats. They are having a tremendous and measurable impact on reducing the number of animals in Louisville, Kentucky animal shelters.

Established in 1999.
Alley Cat Advocates was incorporated in 1999 as a 501©3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide for the humane treatment of unowned cats in the metropolitan Louisville, Kentucky area. In striving to accomplish our mission, our efforts focus on directing a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program in the safest, most efficient and cost effective way possible.
