What a cute little shop in downtown Louisville to buy a local gift! If you are looking for some cool Louisville swag– this place rocks. They have T-shirts, mugs, bourbon sauces, bourbon balls made with Kentucky’s finest, local made jewelry, art and more. The lady running the shop is very friendly and helpful. It is down 4th street, just across from the Convention Center. The prices aren’t bad for a small shop. You can expect to pay about $ 20 for a shirt, $ 10 for a mug and $ 10 – 20 for food items.

Found it! We had family in Louisville looking for some authentic Kentucky/Louisville/Derby souvenirs. We found the mother lode at A Taste of Kentucky. Gifts for adults ranged from small inexpensive items such as t-shirts to designer jewelry and original artwork. For the cook in your life gift options included kitchen towels, napkins and party ware plus spices and sauces. Gourmet chocolates are in good supply. For the kiddies there were adorable t-shirts, hats and plush toys. Nice store with a very wide range of options.

This store has a nice complement to the material you can get across the street at the welcome center. It also has some cool ladies working behind the counter. I stopped in here during my visit to get my mom a souvenir, and I found time to chat with these ladies while making my purchase. About 2 hours later, when I was back at my hotel, I realized I had actually left my bag on the counter(duh!). When I returned, they recognized me instantly and retrieved my bag from the back table. So come here for reasonably priced souvenirs and great hospitality.

I thought I was going to write a 4 star review until I stopped at Whole Foods in St. Louis and the wife found the exact same item for a little less than half as much as I paid at this place. I knew that I was going to pay a premium based on their location and the fact that the place looks like a tourist trap. I most certainly did not expect to be clipped that bad. Shame on you!

Excellent place to get some locally made foodstuff and other fun souvenirs. I expected it would be a little tourist-trappy but it was not at all. Everything seemed legit. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the items for sale. Definitely worth a stop.
