79 Nails

I enjoyed a night out with a group of ladies. They were able to accommodate 4 of us for pedicures. Note to self, wear flip flops on next visit. Several of us opted for the deluxe pedicure and it was totally worth it! 45 minutes of massage treatment was quite a treat indeed!

I am far from a regular, but I love coming here for an occasional treat. Cannot imagine a better manicure experience. I have some issues with my left hand that make it difficult to work with. Rachael is so patient and always works around my Inability to position my hand properly. Highly recommend.

I had gotten a «dip» at a different salon I didn’t like the shape of my nails or the bulky look I went here they reshaped and changed my polish to shellac saying it would be better for my natural nail. Joe was meticulous in my shape and polish they had 3 people waiting and he could have rushed but didn’t. The quality showed he asked me politely to come back when I need a polish change and I will be.

I am going to give a 4 star rating because for the most part I think they do a great job and I just had a bad experience. I was looking for another nail salon after a terrible job by another salon. Vee did my daughter’s nails and did an amazing job. They were the shape she liked and they stayed on and looked beautiful. I waited a full two weeks after she had hers done just to see how they lasted. My daughter is 16, goes to school and works and is rough on her nails. These nails were strong and lasted without any breaks or chips. So I walked in on a weekday (no wait) and showed them my daughter’s nails and told them that I wanted the color that she had. It was a beautiful burgundy color. Vee said she knew the color and would get it. She told me to sit at a particular table with a gentleman who was going to apply my tips and then Vee would do the acrylics. I asked that my cuticles be pushed back and trimmed beforehand so he asked if I wanted a manicure also. I told him I would pay for a manicure also, if that was the only way they would do my cuticles. I didn’t get a manicure and they didn’t charge for one but they did do my cuticles. I showed Vee what shape I was looking for and she said OK. Now comes the part that loses their 5^th star. She did my nails, quite sloppily. Acrylic was dripping off my nails into her table, she just kept wiping it off, I was thinking «this is horrible!» but, once she was finished before the filing and painting, I figured that must just be how she does it, because they looked pretty normal for that stage in the process. So the filing and smoothing are done and she tells me to go wash my hands. At this point she tells me that it isn’t Christmas anymore that she likes this grey colour better than the burgundy and proceeded to upsell me to the grey shellac colour instead. I liked the colour and the longer lasting shellac so that is not a negative. She finishes up, they aren’t chunky and look good, I paid, tipped and left. I felt like I had been in there a long time, but didn’t realize, it had been two hours! Anyway, I ran a couple errands and while doing so realized that a couple of my nails had been filed crooked and one was not even the same shape as the other nine. So I jotted back over explained the issue and she fixed them and repainted them no charge. I went home and made dinner and the more I did the more I realized the problems. My fingers were stuck to the nails underneath, I had to pull them back and get the acrylic off my finger tips, two of my nails had acrylic over the side of my finger. So, in closing, four stars for an amazing job on my daughter’s nails and a mediocre job on mine. Everyone has an off day. I guess I got hers.
Just to clarify my 4 stars instead of 5, while I was there, both times, I was looking at all the other nails that were being done, they all looked very nice the paint jobs were very nice and all of the clients seemed to be regulars based on the conversation between nail techs and clients. I just ended up being disappointed based on how my nails turned out in comparison to my daughters.

FINALLY there is a great nail salon in the east end of the county!!! They provide a great color selection and a quality product.
I have had 2 pedicures with 2 different people and I love how they take their time. My legs and feet feel so pampered when they are finished.
When I get a gel manicure, they use the heated mitts with lotion — my favorite thing about a manicure. My shellac polish has lasted over 3 weeks. My experience with other salons is 2 weeks if you are lucky.
I also like how many of the colors have matching shellac and regular versions. My fingers and toes can match without getting shellac polish on my toes.
I have always just walked in and the service has been great. They do offer appointments.
