We love Homerun! In Louisburg, there are mostly chains, so it’s nice to find a family restaurant with great service and good food. It’s made to order, and they have great specials! I’m not saying it’s fancy, but it’s damn good pizza.

The owner is very kind and flexible. If you have a big order, you can call ahead and see if he’ll cut you a discount. The pizza is always fantastic. Only once was it a little bizarre when we got pineapple on the pizza. The pineapple was fine, but it made the pizza a little watery. Otherwise, we’ve always been very happy with Homerun!

Seeking and finding pizza at 2PM on a weekday afternoon should be of little challenge. I purchased 2 slices and a soda for a quick lunch on the run.
Since Homerun Pizza put little to no time into making a quality product, here is my terse review: tasteless fiberboard decorated with a tomato type sauce and faux cheese. I would even speculate the crusts are of the pre rolled frozen variety.
I promise not to insult my tastebuds again.
