I collect art and am extremely picky about how it is framed. Erica and Greg are true professionals. In the years I have lived in Los Osos, they have framed over a dozen pieces for me, ranging from tiny to huge. Erica spends a lot of time with me working out the frame and matte design. She makes helpful suggestions, but is always respectful of my wishes. Then Greg flawlessly executes the job.

I moved to Los Osos about seven years ago and was fortunate to find The Frame Shop soon after. The quality of the work and the extensive choice of framing and design by the talented owner, Erica King, has kept me coming back to this shop exclusively since that first visit. I have had everything framed from hand-​lettered calligraphy to art prints to a sheet of postage stamps — and each time the result has been greater than my very picky expectations. It’s a pleasure to do business at their shop!

After buying a painting of an unusual size at the Central Coast art walk, we needed to get it framed. The local Los Osos artist, Betty Field, recommended The Frame Shop. The proprietor, Erica, was very patient and professional in helping us pick out the matting, glass and frame. The final product was amazing. It made the painting pop and made us proud owners of an original local piece which will enhance our home for years to come!

They really know what they are doing! We had Erica frame a sampler and also some old dance cards from my wife’s family. Erica did a splendid job and was so very nice and helpful on giving us tips on frames types and colors.
She let us know the kinds of matte that would last the longest and other important details. She is the best. If you have anything you want to keep for a long time, she is the one to call.
