Mary Hoppe worked with my son and his finance to plan the perfect honeymoon in Costa Rica. The flights and limos were on time, the hotels amazing and the meals delicious. White water rafting, hiking near the volcano and swimming at the beach were really fun because the staff who helped them were so nice. Kudos to Mary at Travel Advisors of Los Gatos!

Liz Harwood of Travel Advisors is fantastic! She has been our family travel agent for many years.
I just booked our two week honeymoon in SouthEast Asia with Liz and she planned an amazing trip. She took car of all flights, hotels, transportation, and excursions. We would have never found some of these things online ourselves. It was an amazing trip and It saved us lots of time. We did not have to plan or research anything.
She was very flexible making changes to the trip we wanted and of course the prices are very reasonable, they don’t charge any extra fees. I know they also have a lot of good options for longer cruises around Europe and Asia.
For bigger trips you can’t go wrong using them!

I’ve always used the internet to find travel deals. Glad I found these guys on Facebook. The owner Ed was really helpful and it was a pleasure working with his staff. Got a great deal on our Hawaii vacation. Highly recommend!

My recent email to this agency about all the problems they caused me. They never responded and I had to keep calling. Mike did NOTHING about making it right. Offered no resolve. SHAME SHAME.

My husband and I wanted to follow up after our recently disappointing interaction with both you and Mary. I am not sure how things got so messy but the common denominator is that on more than one occasion things were not done when we asked for them. Furthermore, because this is a service we are paying for we at least had faith that there would be proper communication.
On Thursday, June 13 at 2:03pm this is what I sent to Mary;
«Hello Mary, Hope you’re well. My mom, husband and I came in last week for our tickets to Greece. There is a chance I might have to make a change to my itinerary and fly out at a later date with my husband instead — can you please advise me what the cost would be in doing this and if there is availability on his current flight?»
On thursday, June 13 at 2:48pm Mary responded;
«Hi it will be $ 250.00 plus‘$ 50.00 For you. For the baby I need to call US Air to verify the changes»
On thursday, June 13 at 3:38pm I responded;
«Hi Mary, Thank you for getting back to me so soon. Is there definitely room on my husband’s flight for me and the baby?»
On thursday, June 13 at 3:59pm Mary responded;
«Yes, as of today»
On thursday, June 13 at 5:01pm I responded;
«Hi Mary — is my husband scheduled to leave the 14^th or 15?»
On thursday, June 13 at 5:05pm I responded;
«Can you send the current itinerary? We don’t have one…»
On thursday, June 13 at 5:07pm Mary responded;
She finally sent the itinerary…
On thursday, June 13 at 5:12pm I responded;
«Ok, we’d like to change my ticket so my daughter and I can fly with my husband on ⁸⁄₁₄ — with the $ 300.00 fee.»
After I sent this last email at 5:12pm there was absolutely NO communication afterwards. We had been talking all day, I gave her the green light and she didn’t do what I asked. Furthermore, she never even contacted me the next day. I had to email and follow up with a phone call. On this call Mary told me the «ethical» thing to do is to call you because you are the agent… which I still don’t understand when she’s the one who gave me her card and she’s the one I’ve been dealing with the whole time. I called you around 10am on Friday, June 14^th. You told me you’d work on it and hopefully call me back when you were able. I also don’t understand this… Mary secured 3 itineraries in a couple hours when we were all there in person… but somehow it was going to take all day to make one change for me. During the whole day when I heard nothing back I was under the impression it was going to be fixed because that’s what I was paying you to do. I was also under the impression I was paying for one ticket change… that’s what Mary told me the day before. But because she chose not to do her job and even have the decency to call me she lost my seat. And I now have to pay for two change fees.
On Friday, June 14 at 10:19am Mary responded;
«Kali Mera Mary — Were you able to change to change my ticket to fly with my husband?»
From the above email until 4:35pm on Friday June 14^th there was NO communication. Nothing. Not even someone calling to let us know that its being worked on. Mary (who apparently is not our agent) finally decided to call us late afternoon on Friday and informs us that now there are no seats left on my husbands flight for me and we will have to change both flights.
On Friday, June 14 at 5:51pm I responded;
Hi Mary — Its been a while and we wanted to check it about the status of our tickets… we can’t go into the weekend being unaware. As so much time has been wasted since I was under the impression this was taken care of yesterday after our last email exchange. Also, can you please give me the contact information of whoever is in charge there. We will need to meet with that person as soon as possible after whats transpired today and yesterday.
Mary told me husband on the phone when he was fuming that you told Mary not to do anything with our tickets until you talked to my mom… what does my mom have to do with anything? You even called my mom around 11am on Friday and she told you to make whatever changes I requested. You had my credit card info, but again, you chose to be negligent. Because of your choice and Mary’s choosing not to do her job 24 hours prior you cost us money and time… both of which we should not be responsible for. Your negligence cost us 2 changes fees. Now we aren’t arriving to Greece until a day before a family wedding which is going to be hell. We’re traveling with our daughter who will have no time to acclimate to the time change now. If you would have done what we were paying you to do all of this could have been avoided.
SHAME ON YOU MIKE & MARY — THE WAY YOU TREAT PEOPLE IS APPALLING. I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE I KNOW IS AWARE OF HOW THIS AGENCY TREATS PEOPLE
