I have been very happy with Dr. Sombatpanit. My 6 year old daughter has been seeing her since she was 3. Once my daughter had frequent urination related issues. She didn’t rush to prescribe antibiotics. We tried three times to take a clean catch to rule out any ambiguity in the sample. In the end it was clear that she didn;t need any antibiotics.
I’ve liked her judgement on several other occasions.
Both my daughters love being there. She is very patient and never rushes the appointment.

Dr. Sombatpanit has been our daughter’s pediatrician since she was born. Our daughter is only 6 months old now, and we’ve enjoyed having her as our pediatrician. Dr. Sombatpanit is very calm, gentle, and takes the time to answer all of our many questions. We are pleased with her attentiveness and service.

Dr. Sombatpanit is forgetful, seems disinterested at visits (if she’s even available), and gives medical advice without fully understanding the situation or checking the patient. Our daughter has had bloody stools due to milk intolerance, so I stopped breastfeeding and we put her on special formula. Dr. Sombatpanit forgot this many times and gave unnecessary breastfeeding advice. She was unavailable for the first few months of our daughter’s life, and no one at her office could tell us why she wasn’t available. She wasn’t fully booked, no, she was out of the office. It would have been nice if she could have told us in advance that she’d be out of the office when our daughter was born. And when we brought up the issue that our daughter has dry skin, she told us not to use baby lotions/​cremes. Now that we’ve taken her to another doctor, we find out she has eczema and we should, in fact, be using cremes daily to heal her skin! Dr. Sombatpanit didn’t even look at our daughter’s skin, just said the blanket statement that babies don’t need lotion. She seems nice enough, but her level of interest in our newborn was very low and I didn’t want to stick around to have any more problems occur because of her poor advice.

I love Dr. Sombatpanit. She never rushes my son and/​or daughter and she is always available. I even pulled my daughter from her previous pediatrician and got her under Dr. Sombatpanit.
The moment she inspected my son the day he was born, I told my husband… I want to use this Doctor. She’s very warm hearted and kind.
Her nurse is very nice. She will call and reschedule my appointment if there is a conflict.
I needed an appointment right before my insurance ran out and Karen (her assistant) personally called to squeeze me in… in which I am very very greatful for.
The office waiting room is kind of small but it is kept in reasonable condition.
The people at the front desk are pretty nice. Never had any issues.
