Rainbow of Knowledge School

If I could give zero stars I would. We were so excited to have our daughter start at what we were told was a great school. From that first day things went horribly down hill. Our daughter was forced to put her head down so hard for punishment that she felt she couldn’t breathe. In addition she was shamed at every opportunity– I witnessed a boy about 7 yrs old being told he was throwing fits and causing horrible problems and all his credits earned that week being earned taken in a matter of seconds in front of the whole school because he was too embarrassed to look at the head of the school. Lynne the head of the school is a nightmare. When I confronted her about this and other behavior she stood behind it and told us most of the problems with kids are due to parents. Additionally every day kids are given multiple sugary treats– one is fine a week, but every day is hard especially when kids already have behavior issues. Well I ended up needing to withdraw my daughter, her therapists (2 different consultants) told us the shaming tactics and old school punitive punishments were unhealthy. I paid 2 months because they claimed we were locked in to PAY THE WHOLE YEAR. Not true according to the contract I had. Well today a letter from a lawyer came in the mail threatening to sue us if we don’t continue to pay. I had nicely told Lynne I would work with her but she had breached contract by treating our daughter so poorly. And this is what I get– a lawyer threatening to sue me and my daughter devastated by her old school needing to be changed and being moved mid year. What a nightmare! I’ve never been so thrilled by something and so disappointed by the actual outcome of what is was underneath. Run away from any thought of joining this school. Oh and your payment is on the way Lynne no need to worry…

After visiting several local area elementary schools we could not help but be HIGHLY IMPRESSED with all that Rainbow of Knowledge School had to offer. From an extensive academic curriculum exceeding state standards to fun-​filled extra-​curricular activities and community service events, the school provides an exciting and enriching environment that nurtures and builds the abilities of each student to achieve success in all areas of their studies.
The school affords an outstanding program that focuses on the unique skills, abilities, and talents of each child. With the low student to teacher ratio, less than 10 per educator, students receive individualized attention to help them master skills and build confidence in all aspects of their academic and personal development. The highly dedicated and talented teaching-​staff work closely with the students and their families to develop a specialized program to ensure continued progress and advancement. Since attending Rainbow, our son has achieved remarkable growth not only academically but also in his self-​confidence, respect for others and our environment, and his love for learning thanks to the excellent guidance and support provided by the highly experienced and caring staff.
We love Rainbow of Knowledge, and are very grateful for having such a wonderful school in our community. We would highly recommend it to all families that wish to provide a rich, fulfilling, and supportive educational environment for their child!

My son has been attending this school for one year now, and I couldn’t be happier! The teachers put in the extra effort to help our son learn to read, and now he’s reading so well! The staff are always available and friendly to discuss anything you may need. There are lots of extra activities and trips for the kids.
Once a month they also have parents night out events, where parents can get cheap babysitting and the kids get to hang out with their school friends, watching a movie and playing games.
Great experience!

My son has been attending Rainbow of Knowledge for over two years now. He loves this school and his growth here has been so much better than the public school he attended. The teachers are very caring of the students. They definitely know my son well and works with us to provide him the best possible education. We have not found any other school (public, private) that has shown this kind of dedication and care.

My son has been going to this school for 4 years now. He loves it, I love it! The student to teacher ratio is very low 5 – 1 and the school overall is very small! The atmosphere is caring, fun, safe and enriching. Very family oriented. The school is run by 4 very caring, kind, intelligent women who I enthusiastically entrust my son to each week. He has blossomed tremendously from his experience at Rainbow. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants their child to learn to love learning! Thank you Ms. Debbie and Ms. Sandra!
