We offer a variety of custom rehabilitative and wellness services to meet the needs of our clients. We specialize in the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries due to sports, work, and postoperative care in adolescents and adults. Kinesis Physical Therapy also has programs specifically tailored to runners and the most common injuries they experience. We use a combination of custom therapeutic exercises, hands-​on treatment, and modalities including ice/​heat, KinesioTape, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to return our patients to the highest level of function and sport.

Kinesis Physical Therapy is also a proud collaborating organization with the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine’s STOP Sport Injuries campaign which focuses on reducing injuries in young athletes.

History

Established in 2014.

Kristina opened her business in 2014 in order to help serve the rehabilitative and wellness needs of the South Bay.

Prior to beginning her own practice, she was a PT in the Bay Area for five years. She worked with adolescents, adults, and the mature population with work injuries, sport related injuries, and postoperative PT needs.

She is pleased to partner with Fitness clinic of Los Gatos in order provide the optimum level of care for her patients and clients.

Meet the Business Owner

Kristina L.

Business Owner

Kristina has been a physical therapist for seven years, five of which were in the Bay Area. She graduated from Cal Poly, SLO with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology. She attended graduate school and received her Masters and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from UCSF/​SFSU. She has completed a year-​long manual therapy course for advanced training and has attended numerous other courses on sports-​related injuries and evidence-​based treatment. She also has more than three years of experience working at a large tech company in Cupertino helping their employees with work-​injuries, postural dysfunction, and weekend-​warrior aliments.

An avid runner, Kristina has completed two full marathons and dozens of other races. When she is not working or running, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two Labradors, Boomer and Rocky.
