Cin Cin exceed my expectations.
Happy Hour 4 – 6 PM on weekdays (the menu on the website does not reflect the prices, HH is about $ 6 – 9 depending on the item).
HH Merlot $ 7 for happy hour wine, this was really good. Actually, better than most places standard merlots. Had 2 delicious glasses, thank you so very much!
Mushroom risotto — Mildly al dente grains in a rich sauce, mixed with a variety of mushrooms, topped with pretty greens. Usually risottos are too heavy, this was just right and decadent. The cheese did not overpower the mushrooms, in fact it complimented and was perfect.
Mushroom empanadas $ 7 for 2 — small and adorable. Portion was a little small, the flavor of the inside of the empanadas were hands down delicious. Rich, robust and in the top 3 mushroom empanadas I have tried. The crust of the empanada was really good, not too dry, lightly flaky and just right.
Squash $ 12 — A-​Ok. The squash was a bit dry. My friend suggested smearing the mayo like sauce (on the bottom) on top, it helped but it did not really compliment the squash since it was too creamy and cold. The presentation of this dish is quite nice. Brussel sprout leaves lightly fried, sprinkled to garnish. The exterior of the squash is tasty, just a bit dry. If it were not so dry, I would give this dish 3.5 stars.
Beet salad $ 12 — Beautiful presentation, even better flavors! Yellow and red beets, soft to each bite, topped with the creamy goat cheese mousse — heaven. Such an amazing dish! Highly recommend, even if you are not a fan of beets, this may just change your mind!
Braised short rib — Friend ordered this and said the meat was so tender, fork tender! Looked very nicely cooked and tender. The vegetables they presented under the meat looked not so great. The brussel sprouts looked boiled then lightly pan seared, mixed with the boiled cauliflower it just did not look great.
Overall, will be back! This place has a good pace of guests so reservations may be ideal. Great service, really good food, nice atmosphere!

I really liked this place. You can reserve online, using Unilocal!Super close to west bend winery! The service was attentive, a bit too attentive at first but we settled quickly into a mutual groove.
I was sad to learn that we couldn’t continue to enjoy our left bend bottle here as it has to be closed when we arrive. I will remember for next time!
The gnocco is fried so it has quite an unusual texture if you compare it to gnocchi like I did, not remotely similar. The sliders were excellent and our server recommended the truffle fries, which were a perfect pairing. We had the red wine flight which was good but to be fair we just had amazing wine at left bend and lots of wine would be a step down from there.
The only thing I wished were different was the soundtrack. It was distractingly odd, starting with «thriller» and went sideways from there. It didn’t seem to compliment the restaurant.

The food was excellent but the service was even better! Johnny was very attentive and enthusiastic! We enjoyed Shatter 2012 Granache with the truffle fries, charcuterie and cheese platter. They even have house made gluten-​free crackers. Perfect date night! We shall be back soon!

I just love this place. Amazing service, delicious food, good location. Ambience is always great. Went again last night after a disastrous attempt at going to Hults for dinner, and eventually walking out Hults was so bad.
Called Cin Cin from the bar and asked if we could come through — they were more than happy to make a spot available for us.
Food was soooo good. Mushroom empanadas, truffle fries, risotto, and slow cooked short rib.
Our waiter was brilliant.

This place is cute. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s a cozy, open restaurant. The ambiance makes you feel like you’re winding down at a friends house with some dim lights and happy couples and even families dining in.
Wild mushroom empanadas– oh yes. That dough? Smooth and crispy. Filling? Gooey, savory mushroom. Mmm.
Mushroom risotto– well done and lots of mushrooms.
Brioche bread pudding– this thing was heaven! Crisp sides. Citrus caramel sauce. Vanilla bean gelato. Phenomenal.
I would definitely come back! (And buy more bread pudding).

This is me and my wife’s favorite restaurant. The service is always wonderful and the food and cocktails are amazing. I highly recommend the short ribs, Brussels sprouts, pork belly sliders, Korean tacos and last time we were there I had the grilled octopus and it was amazing.

Service is excellent here! Every time I come I’ve been served by Johnny! He is awesome! Super friendly and always checks up on us. He also gives great recommendations. They have happy hour here which is awesome! Some days from 4−6pm or 9pm til close. I love their small dishes! Great to share with friends and family. Today I had their soup of the day which consisted of green garlic, potatoes purred and topped with maple bacon. It was delicious. Their truffle fries are great and super crunchy! Also the pork belly steamed buns are a hit! The meat is super tender and juicy. Mac n cheese is super cheesy and saucy! Very tasty and filling. Dessert is a must here! Their gelato is so good! I loved the hazelnut flavor.

I feel really bad that I can’t remember his name, but our server was awesome. He was the one who looked like a better looking version of Shawn Hunter from Boy Meets World haha.
My friend and I came here for dinner one Friday night and made it just in time for their HH. $ 5 apps and ½ off drinks, we def took advantage and ordered a round with the calamari and truffle fries. Shawn Hunter was very accommodating to my food allergies and made sure nothing was cross contaminated. He even offered substitutions or various options as to ordering the dish if it did contain anything I was allergic to. Talk about great service.
Truffle Fries were SO good, but then again what isn’t with truffle oil? We later went and ordered a bunch of other dishes to share
–Korean Tacos: MUST GET! These are great as a meal or for an appetizer. Comes with 4 mini tacos full of flavor
–Roasted Squash: Meh, I think i’ll pass on these next time. Way too filling and heavy.
–Lamb Stew: Unique and different from what we imagined. We were expecting more of a soupy type stew in a bowl, instead this was more of an Au Jus. The Lamb itself though was presented in a way i’ve never seen before, kind of a like a tartare shape looking semi crispy but dry from the outside. One bite though proved it all wrong. It was super tender and juicy!
–Dessert: They had SORBET! Total win. We went with the Pear Ginger flavor only because it was a flavor we’ve never heard of. It was very… different, but good. Strong ginger flavor when you first eat it, then a nice, pleasant pear sweetness for an aftertaste. Definitely cleansed our palates.
I would highly recommend this place for HH, drinks, food, dinner, or all of the above! The place has a nice cozy backyard patio type ambiance too so it’s not super casual or super douchey. I’m coming back for sure!

The best thing I like about this place is their wines have a flavor profile listed with each wine which helped my family who are not so knowledgeable about wine pick the ones they like and we loved our wines. We loved tasting a whole host of small plates and enjoyed each one of them, we had burrata, truffle fries, cheese plate, mushroom risotto, mushroom empanadas, pulled pork sliders, fish tacos, brandade stuffed piquillo peppers and crema Catalana. The fish tacos could have used a tad more seasoning but we loved everything else! excellent service and Very reasonably priced! worth coming back! Cheers to Jhonny!

Met all my needs when making my reservations for a large group, even with last minute changes. All in my group enjoyed the food and drinks. Our server was awesome.

Updated review for happy hour service: We went to the restaurant right at the start of happy hour at 4pm. Cincin was basically empty when we arrived, and our friends were told by the rude hostess that we could stay for 2 hours maximum; no exceptions. We ordered a bunch of drinks and small plates, but were constantly reminded that we needed to be out by 6pm. Considering how empty the place was, it just made for bad service.

Really great meal. Scallops prepared perfectly. Our server was very knowledgeable and did a great job guiding our wine selections. Ewe-​Nique cheese was perfect end to evening. We will return

I’ve been here twice, most recently on New Year’s Eve. It’s a lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. My favorite is the mushroom risotto — delicious!

Great happy hour here! They had tons of items on the happy hour menu and even though its a wine bar, they had cocktails on the HH menu too. Unlike most places the HH menu wasn’t limited to the bar area, it is available in the entire restaurant. We started out with the house roasted nuts with come out piping hot! We also enjoyed the fish tacos, the pork sliders and the flatbread. Everything was super tasty but I think the Flatbread may have been my favorite. I look forward to many future happy hour outings here!

A solid 4 stars for a birthday dinner well done — was looking for a fun but cozy place to eat and found just that!
THE FOOD:
— Seared Ahi Tuna: Tender with great flavor, came with well-​seasoned veggies.
— Risotto: I thought the mushroom taste was a bit strong at first, but I soon got used to it and enjoyed the dish a lot
— Korean Tacos: The perfect dish for sharing! Bulgogi was well-​seasoned and juicy
— Wild Mushrooms Empanadas: Full of mushroom for all the mushroom lovers, but I wouldn’t be fooled by the size — it was definitely one of the most unexpectedly filling dishes of the night.
— Grilled Octopus: Octopus wasn’t overly chewy, but I thought the actual meat lacked a little bit of taste
— Clams: The broth was amazing, but it was a pity that the only way the really enjoy it was soaking the bread in it because there wasn’t very much bread that came with the dish. The actual meat in the clams was pretty small but still flavorful
— Marscapone: A chocolatey dessert (almost) perfect for a chocolate lover like myself! My only objection was that the bottom layer of fudge was far too sweet and tasted a bit like the Hershey’s fudge that you can find by the bottle in a grocery store. Other than that, it tasted great!

Great late night happy hour. The bar is always busy, and the drink specials are good. I suggest the truffle French fries and the sliders. There’s always a good red on the happy hour menu– but go big with a Malbec or Tempranillo. You won’t regret it.
(Cali Café and Viva have good happy hours as well– same style wine/​sliders… But Cin Cin wins with the late night option)

LOVE Cin-​Cin! My gf and I have had at least a couple date nights here and it’s great. From the outside you’re like,“This place can’t be THAT awesome” and then you go in and it’s pretty incredible! Perfect lighting, noise level AND ambiance! The food is incredible, you can’t go wrong with anything and the wait staff offers just the right amount of attention to you and your needs and have detailed answers for any questions on the menu. If you like a damn good drink and pretty good lookin’ face to go along with that, ask for bartender Matt! He makes INCREDIBLE drinks and great service as well. Cin-​Cin, you’re one of my favorite by FAR!

This is a nice and cozy restaurant/​wine bar. I came here for dinner for Christmas week. We wanted a nice, low key, and cozy place for our dinner, so we picked this place. The server was very attentive and friendly. He was always ready to help us with any questions and/​or if we needed any suggestions.
What we ordered:
Grilled Octopus — This was quite delicious. It was pretty small but it was enough for all of us to sample.
Truffled French Fries — You can’t really go wrong with french fries. The fries were good and the sauce that came with it was even better.
Wild Mushroom Empanadas — My friend ordered this and I was able to get a taste of it. You get three little empanadas. The flavor was on point for this dish. The mushrooms weren’t overpowering but you can still tell that there’s mushrooms in there. It was crispy but soft on the inside.
Korean Tacos — I didn’t sample one so I don’t know but it just looked like any other fusion korean tacos.
Gnocco Fritto — This was good but not amazing.
Steamed Clams — For some reason, I enjoyed this dish the most. Maybe, it’s because I felt like it had more food in it. It’s not amazing, it tasted like any typical steam clam dish but they were a little more generous on this dish. There were a good amount of clams and there was bread to go with it. The bread made it more fulfilling.
Duck Entrée — I ordered this one because it was different and my friend suggested I give it a shot so I did. The server mentioned it was one of the popular dishes so I was excited to try it. Once I got a taste of it, I found that I didn’t like it. It had a very strong taste of duck. Of course, DUH, it’s a duck dish. The meat was very tender but the flavor of the duck was too strong for my liking. I couldn’t finish this plate so I had to ask my friends to help me out.
We also ordered a flight and one bottle of red wine. I enjoyed the bottle of red wine more than the flight. I had a pleasant experience. However, I don’t think I would come back. Nothing really stood out to me. The place was small, nice, and cozy but that was it for me. The food was mediocre to good. The wine was good but it wasn’t that special either.

I took my best friend here for her birthday dinner.
We were seated right away with our reservation. We sat right in the middle, it’s a fairly loud place for a romantic vibe.
Our waiter was attentive and informative. He did forget the water a few times, which was a bit annoying. But otherwise service was good.
We ordered the truffled French fries which were yummy. I do recommend ordering those.
We had a seasonal soup of cream of corn of some sorts. That was ok.
I ordered the pan-​seared halibut. It’s pretty flavorless. I was tempted to ask for salt. Pretty disappointed in it.
The braised-​beef short rib was a lot better. I nibbled off my friends plate. Definitely regretted choosing my plate.
The coriander encrusted scallops were good as well, but they were smaller than what I’ve had in the past. Definitely not worth the price on that plate.
I liked this place, but was not impressed by their menu. Possibly ordering all small plates instead of large plates would be the better experience.
I would come back, but not anytime soon.

Overall, solid restaurant. I started with the sparkling flight and the charcuterie/​cheese combo. Moved on to the Korean tacos and the clams and ended with the flourless chocolate cake.
The charcuterie/​cheese plate was decent, but I could have thrown together the exact same thing at home in ¹⁄₆ of the time it took to come out. The Korean tacos were meh, but I’m Korean and also have had my fair share of tacos in my day. Clams were really great, but I’m not sure I’d venture back here solely to have them again.
Food was good. Middle-​aged white people scene. Service was extremely slow. The menu items are not super inspiring, but the ones I tried were A-​OK.

We came here with a group of 6 for happy hour after ziplining at Mount Hermon. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to snag a seat since Open Table didn’t have reservations for 6 until 9pm! But they did surprisingly have a table for 6, but the only caveat was that we had to finish eating by 6:45 because that table did have a reservation on it. Hey, that left us with more than an hour to eat and I was fine with that! The ambiance is classy but not stuffy and perfect for a nice afternoon with friends.
We ordered a variety of items on and off the happy hour menu. I got a sangria ($ 5) which was on HH special and it was pretty good. The food has a bit of Asian theme going on.
HH Menu items–
*Mushroom Empanadas ($ 7) – came with 2, and although delicious with the manchego cheese, they were kind of small.
*Chicken liver crostini ($ 4) – if you get a charcuterie board, don’t get this because it seems they have the same pâté on the board. This was a good appetizer if you like liver.
*Steamed pork buns ($ 7) – an order comes with 2 and these were pretty big and filling. The pork belly had nice flavor and definitely some fatty parts but it wasn’t super memorable for me.
*Calamari ($ 8) –the togarashi aioli and sort of Asian spin on it was a little strange for me and I wasn’t really a fan of the sauces and flavors on this one.
*Truffled French Fries ($ 4.5) – DELISH. I could have probably polished this off by myself. I love truffle oil in just the right amounts :)
Non-​HH Menu items–
*Korean Tacos ($ 16 for 4 but our server made it happen with 6) – bulgogi rib-​eye tacos. Can’t really mess up here. it was pretty good but not mind blowing.
*Prosciutto Flatbread ($ 12) – standard.
*Small Charcuterie plate ($ 18) – good but I’m not typically a huge charcuterie person.
Overall, it was a lot of fun hanging out here and I think while not all of the food was amazing and some were a little expensive, it was still good and great ambiance. The company makes a big difference :) I would come back if I were in the area with friends. I was eyeing the salmon crudo on the menu!

I first came here 5 years ago and seriously comparing it then to now, it’s still just so damn GOOD.
The restaurant is fair in size, but I do recommend setting reservations since it’s recently been a hot spot from their happy hour. Service is good, genuine overall and very attentive. Simple décor and dim lights for a nice and intimate atmosphere, the perfect feel good mood for some extreme mouth exercises.
Let’s dig in:
(1) The Cin Cin Sampler — came with an array of must tries! Pâté Baguette toasts, delicious deviled eggs, nuts, cheeses, dates, and delicious smoked meats. Now, the current combo Cheese/​Charcuterie is the newer version of this — which also does the job i’d say.
(2) The INFAMOUS Mushroom Empanadas — I don’t know if you’ve heard, but these are prettttty famous. Although the last time i’ve had them they were a little too dry, for the most part the puffy pastry exterior is flaky buttery heaven while filled with mushroom and a strong sense of truffle oil.
(3) Truffle French Fries — tasty crispy golden potato strands done right. Perfect amount of truffle, not overwhelming at all. My only struggle here is sometimes the portions are a little too light, where I find my fingers hitting an empty plate creating this sudden empty feeling and realization of — no. more. fries. already?!
(4) Wild Mushroom Tempura (PLEASE BRING THESE BACK) — this may shock you! BUT these were even better than the Mushroom Empanadas! (YEAH I SAID IT!) These were puffy (FRIED of course) pieces of delicious mushroom heaven!
(5) Pepper Crusted Pan Seared Tuna with Soy Glazed Bok Choy — was a large plate which featured their perfectly delish TUNA — BUT this is something they do not have any more. I recommend opting for the SEARED AHI TUNA small plate — which still focuses on the amazing tuna pepper crusted, cooked, and seasoned to perfection.
(6) Steamed Buns — were very tasty. Pork belly was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender as it should be. Apple cilantro slaw was definitely unique and complimenting overall, along with the fresco chile. The Sriracha sauce was good but really freakn spicy — so do use with caution.
(7) Grilled Octopus — this was AMAZING! Although sadly itty bitty, it was packed with so many delicious flavors. The octopus was cooked charred to perfection, with fingerling potatoes, tomatoes, and a unique/​tasty sauce.
(8) Special Fried Chicken Drums and Corn Pancake — THANK YOU DANNY for this delicious hook! Let me tell you, my girls and I were extremely stuffed, but we had a mission ahead of us — to get down with this chicken (simply for the LOVE of chicken). It was so tasty that we actually ate it faster than our stomachs could handle. Tender, crispy, well seasoned chicken worked well with a soft warm corn pancake.
Tipsy treat?
(1) So Cal Sunset — as delicious as its name. Refreshing fruity heaven, but don’t let the fruitiness fool you, the bourbon is definitley there.
(2) Misty Mountain — i’m not really a fan of GIN — but this was tasty, light, and refreshing overall. Although (not for me) since the gin was pretty prominent, this is perfect for the GIN lover.
(3) Hey Nikki — RUM is more down my alley so this drink was perfect for me. The lime and pineapple juice was fresh and worked well with the RUM, made me legit feel like I was (or needed to be) in Hawaii.

Two birthday people, one place to celebrate them in. A fantastic time amongst friends. Let’s get to the highlights!
They had a special selection of wines that night that were 50% off each bottle. We chose the Gemstone ’11 Red Blend that provided a delightful balance on the palate. Everyone approved of the wine.
Amongst the small plates we ordered the gnocco frito, truffled french fries, and shrimp flatbread (special of the night) were hits. But the mushroom risotto was everyone’s favorite. It deserves to be ordered everytime.
We shared a few couple large plates, the coriander scallops (2 of them), and the braised beef short rib. A couple people thought the scallops were overly salty but I think it was a result of which scallop they chose to eat. I thought the scallop I chose was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The braised beef short rib was meltingly good and one of the best short rib dishes I’ve had.
For dessert, it was told to us by our server that the brioche bread pudding was a like a «Mercedes Maybach», while the other desserts were more solid like a Honda. Well the brioche bread pudding delivered like a luxurious ride up the coast. It’s a shame we didn’t order two of them. The lemon tart was overly sweet for me and the coppa marscapone was OK. Definitely get the brioche bread pudding and you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I love going to Cin-​Cin, we end up going usually around 8pm and unfortunately by that time you have the drunkards all around just screaming and laughing very loudly.
We love all the small plates and enjoy the entrees as well (halibut is my must try), but we always end up just getting about 6 small plates to share and a ton of cabernets from Napa the DIY Prosecco bar is fun and refreshing on a hot summers day! If you are a beer person the small draft selection will not disappoint you. If you are hankering for tapas style food and fun, go here! One of the best places in Los Gatos to sample some yummy decently priced dishes! I believe the only thing I have not liked is the pâté from the charcuterie plate. The consistency of the dishes are amazingly on point. We like to end the meal with the gelatos or just go to Powells!
Date night is perfect, the ambiance is nice. The parking can be a bit of a hassle but usually we find one in no time.

Cin-​Cin Wine Bar is located in downtown Los Gatos! Its a cute little area and love the environment there. Great selections on wine (great temperature too!) and cheese plates! All the things I ordered was on point and the service was great!
I took my mom here for her birthday and they gave her a happy birthday card right before we sat down and two scoops of gelato with a candle on top! It was great. If you like to try different things, I would recommend getting lots of nibbles or small plates so you are able to try multiple items! Great portions too.

basil, cilantro (very light and refreshing)

— Seared Ahi Tuna: togarashi crust, snap pea salad, black garlic, garlic roasted peanut, wasabi tobiko

I had the pleasure of dining here last week and dropped beaucoup bucks a la San Francisco style for happy hour and early dinner. I regret nothing!
Let me start off by saying the service was impeccable! Kevin, our server, knew the perfect amount of time in which to appear and check on us. There was never a moment of questioning where he had gone off to when we needed him. I can’t remember the last time I had such a quality server!
When I first walked in, my first reaction was surprise. From the alley and the outside of the building, you wouldn’t think the interior would be designed as aesthetically pleasing as it actually is. The bar area is classy, unlike the typical bar, with bar seating as well as a small lounge area. The hostess led me to the back dining area (perfect for a private event) which was more spacious but equally as intimate as the lounge area.
But I digress, to the food!
Happy hour: started off with the Fish Tacos ($ 7), Wild Mushroom Empanadas ($ 7), and Truffled French Fries ($ 4.50). The fish tacos were the only disappointing dish that night. While the jalapeño-​crème fraîche slaw and guacamole were flavorful, the fish itself was not and there was not enough slaw to compensate. I would skip ordering this again. The mushroom empanadas came out a little overdone but otherwise the manchego cheese insides were tasty. The fries came with chipotle aioli and grated grana padano and were so good, we ordered them twice. We later added the Sherry Chicken Liver Crostini ($ 4). I wasn’t too into the pâté since I prefer savory to sweet, but my friend liked it.
Dinner: Off the main menu, I ordered the «small plate» Mushroom Risotto ($ 11) and the «large plate» Pan-​Seared Lamb Chops ($ 32). The risotto was absolutely delicious. Exactly as it should be, with subtle grana padano and contrasting crispy shiitake mushrooms. I took left-​overs home and it was equally as good the next day for lunch. The lamb chops came out beautifully plated for those into food art. The oregano persillade was new to me and added to the dish!
Wine: I topped my meal off with a smooth 2013 Alfaro Family Pinot Noir ($ 13). I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second glass and now plan on visiting the winery to taste their other varieties and purchase a bottle or two!
Dessert: An order of the Lemon Tart ($ 9). By this time, I was forcing myself but, again, regret nothing. The lemon filling was light, tart, and refreshing during the heat wave, as was the crème fraîche on top. The crust could have been flakier but tasted great.
TLDR; Cin-​Cin is a must visit! Food is good, wine is great, atmosphere is elegant but casual. Do a girl’s night, bring a date, throw a small event!

I like coming here on Friday and Saturday nights when they have late night happy hour from 9p.m.-11p.m. with wine/​beer/​cocktails and small plates that range from $ 4 to $ 8. Last time I came at 10 p.m. on a Saturday night and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. If you have a large group, you can make a reservation for the happy hour too! I’ve been here with a group of 12 before.
From the happy hour menu, get the lavender martini and truffle fries. I could keep drinking those martinis all night. They are so good! It’s light and refreshing. Didn’t like the Tom Collins though, but then again I’m not a fan of gin. The Manhattan is good if you like bourbon.
For dinner, it’s better to do family style so you can try a variety of dishes. I recommend the pan seared scallops, they are cooked to perfection. The mushroom empanadas, Hamachi crudo, shrimp and grits, and Korean tacos are also delicious!
On Mondays they also have 50% off wine bottles which are a pretty good deal! If you’re not sure which wine to get, ask the waiter for recommendations.
The restaurant is classy and intimate so it’s great for date night, special occasions, or a dinner with the girls. I suggest making reservations because it can get busy even on week nights.

Came here solely for HH.
Eh, not much a HH. The prices were pretty steep for the quantity. IMHO, each item on the HH menu (both food and drinks) should’ve been $ 1 – 2 few dollars off. I know this might sound minor, but if you order 10 items, that’s about $ 20 right there.
