First and foremost, If you are going to have your private areas touched and then have hot wax stick to your hair and yanked out don’t be a weenie and do something like write a bad review about your experience. Hygiene is important and everything they do here is hygienic considering what I mentioned earlier. There’s no substitute for experience and Fay definitely has it! Some people bleed and other cry or Unilocal a little but it’s the cost we pay to be smooth as a babies butt! Thanks so much for all the smoothness Fay!

Fay and Mona are masters of their craft and treat you like a family member when you walk into there establishment and every time there after. I’ve been going to Fay for over seven years she is simply amazing makes you feel comfortable and anyway she can especially your first time around (Brazilian wax). She’s been in business for over 15 years at this location. For those of you who speak negative of her and input on how she conduct her words I would highly suggest you do some research first. Having that said Fay is a fantastic person super professional and I have come to build a relationship with her over the years, I would highly recorded her to anyone specially my friends ;).

I have never written a Unilocal review before, but felt that this place merited one. DO NOT COME HERE! It’s the worst! While she was waxing my face, she dripped wax in my hair and had to cut out part of my hair! I SAW her do it (though she told me not to worry about it), and afterwards when I confronted her and asked her for a discount (which any respectable salon would do, considering I went in for a wax and not a haircut), she denied she had done anything.
She even tried to prove it to me by showing me the paper I was lying on, but had nothing to say when I pointed out the chunk of my hair that was glued to it. Needless to say, I will not be returning, regardless of how cheap it is.

She double dips… please please please DO NOT GET A BIKINI WAX here! I know girls youre in college and shes cheaper but she double dips and doesnt keep the wax hot enough.

So I have bad shaped eyebrows. I’ve been going to other places and they always manage to always make them look horrible. So I found Fay, she is the best the only one that can give me the beautiful shape on my eyebrow. NO pain clean job! I would definitely recommend! Thanks Fay awesome job!

I went in for a Brazilian wax 4 ½ months after a C-​section. I was very nervous but had no reason to be. Fay was incredible. She was quick, thorough and kept me talking so I wouldn’t continue to be nervous. I definitely highly recommend Westwood Waxing Salon.

Very fast and efficient. Absolutely no frills. This is not a spa-​like environment at all, but I’d rather not pay for candles and Enya anyway. Instead you get a fast, relatively painless wax without chit-​chat. Fay coats a large area each time, so there are less rip-​offs to brace for and the procedure is done in about 5 minutes. Be prepared to do some awkward yoga poses for waxing access. Bonus points for not playing around with silly draping towel and «modesty». The wax did get a little hot, but Fay listened to me and let it cool a little before applying when I mentioned it. The price was great for a Brazilian and there are discounts for first-​time customers and UCLA students.
Just a tip: there’s another waxing salon in the same building, but Westwood Waxing is on the first floor in the back corner.

This is the first time I have EVER reviewed anything on Unilocal.I will spare you with the intimate details — but this place is the most unhygienic out of date and uncomfortable place I have ever been.
Do not go here– I chime in with someone else, I went on an «emergency» and thought to myself after I initially almost walked out… just get it over with and I really regret that. Always trust your instincts.

I have been going to this place for years. It is awesome. Really affordable, also very little pain, I go to school in another city and have had some varied experience. Westwood Waxing made me a regular Brazilian waxer. I didn’t think I would be one, but Westwood Waxing and Faye are a perfect little salon, and cheap enough ($ 40 for a full Brazilian) for me to be a regular. Very personable.

I’ve been going to Faye since I was a student. I make the horrific drive from Glendale to the west LA just for her Brazilian waxing expertise and my threading elsewhere.
She’s fantastic and funny. She jokes with me that she’s «bringing the pain» because I’m naughty and like to go much longer in between appointments than recommend. However, every time, it seems like we’ve just started and boom we’re done. I look away, and look down and somehow she’s managed to strip away everything before I know it.
Faye would rather remove it all, so if you want a runway or triangle, be vocal, to her the hair down there is alll enemy! Honestly though, I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Faye and recommend you go to her if you live on the Westside.
However, stay away if you’re farther, because you may get too attached and end up constantly dreading the drive back, like me!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience here. I had my eyebrows waxed, and she completely burned my left eyelid and brow. I was telling her that the wax felt too hot, but she just kept going. I’ve had to put salve on it all day long. I’ve had my brows done lots of times, and my skin has NEVER reacted this way. Very very displeased. I would tell anyone to steer way clear of this place.

Love the prices! It’s very small and tucked away which I love, but the waxing job done on my legs wasn’t very good. There was plenty of hair left. The woman working there (owner?) is very nice but she had double booked at the same time and was in a hurry and just did a poor job.
