Triflin’-ass-Vons ! I love how the Unilocal reviews were so bad on the real page, that this page popped up. Or maybe someone was just racking up first reviews? Who knows. This location has improved in some areas and worsened in others. I have less of a wait here than I used to. So kudos. You also started carrying sourdough bread. Picked up some of that last night. So woo-​hoo! The weird talks-​too-​much checker girl is still there, but I avoid her. I did, however, get stuck in her lane once and she brainf*cked me into a conversation about the taco truck across the street. Why, boo, why???
My latest gripe, and perhaps the reason why I pretty much only shop Trader Joe’s now is the customer base at Von’s. Too many low-​rent assholes who refuse to keep their children in check. One of the last times I was there, there were three different kids from different families having temper tantrums and two children literally running through the store screaming, screeching, and laughing and throwing produce while blocking the aisles with their parents doing nothing about it. Stupid is as stupid does, so I shop in a better market where people exhibit better social grace and common sense. This is literally my: «oh, snap! I forgot to get [insert product here]. Crap, now I got to go into this shady Von’s.»

This is one of my favorite Von’s. Their bread is fresh. They have friendly staff and a welcoming spirit. I always find customers who are ready to chat me up about food! Parking is easy and convenient. This will be my go-​to supermarket.

Turns out they have very little respect for a grown man who throws a tantrum when he can’t find the capers :/

This is my go to regular grocery store. I love that they are open ²⁴⁄₇ since I tend to shop at weird times. They have reasonable prices too.

Like this location, 24 hours, you don’t have to wait in the lines long time, the service is quick and friendly, always. Will be back again and again.

The people that work here are super awesome! They have one of the best customer service I have seen in a while anywhere. They were fast, very friendly and processed my transaction quickly. They even got me something I had forgotten on my list just so I didn’t have to go back in line.
