What kind of monster am I? The lady who can’t leave the nail salon without stubbing her toe and wreaking her gorgeous new pedi: that’s ME, friends. The guys and gals at Vina don’t even blink. They fix me right up. So nice!

Sorry Vina Nails, I have to give you one star. After receiving a wonderfully painted gel manicure, I have to report that my thumb ended up getting infected. I think it was a combination of my cuticles being cut too short and the not properly sterilized instruments. :-(. I was put on a week of antibiotics by my doctor due to the visible pus that was growing under my nail. I am now in risk of losing my thumb nail.
For the past two years, Vina has been a place that I frequented due to its close location to my work. I am sad to report I will no longer be a customer here. Please sterilize your instruments properly Vina Nails. Safety first before beauty!

horrible! my nails weren’t painted right. Let me tell you my story. I and my boyfriend went in there for a pedi and he got a woman and i got a man. She was saying how .“strong, hairy, soft «my boyfriend was while i was sitting there. No bigger right? WRONG the guy who was doing my pedi was either her husband or someone close to her because he ended up scraping my ankle with the tool he used to scrape off the dead skin because he seemed mad about her comments. I did not notice my ankle til after i left and notice my pain. The lady who did my nails had a problem with me because i spoke up about my nails not being painted right. I may sound like i’m complaining but i’m paying for a good service. The only good thing was there checkout special.
Word of advise don’t get scratched because of a jealous owner.

I came here because another nail place I usually go to wasn’t open yet, and this place is literally up the street from me, so I was like why not.
I wanted acrylic nails with gel on top, and I was suggested to get the new «SNS» nails, but it’s not acrylic or gel. They dip your nails into this powder that’s supposed to form your nail.
I got this from their (SNS) website that talks about it a little bit more:

SNS is for healthy nails, unlike gel or acrylic. So when I heard this, it was going to cost me as much as the acrylics with gel, so I was like okay fine lets do it.
I literally LOVE my nails. They feel soooooo light, and they’re a little thinner than getting acrylics. I suggest people out there try this. And Cathy made my nails look amazing. :)

Nail artist didn’t do the shape I wanted but was sort of close. Close but no cigar. Most def not Laque or Blossom Beauty Lounge but they r ok. Nice selection of nail polish tons of OPI to choose from!

First time here !. Nd let me tell you am picky with both my hands nd feet but I can honestly say am satisfied with the services i got a pedi nd a full set shaped just the way i asked. I will definately come back nd also will bring my mom nd tell my near by friends to come… Less than 5 mins away from my home…

Best nail place EVER!!! I am so picky when it comes to my nails. When I use to get gel or acrylic my nails would always hurt. Until I came to VINA NAILS they have a special thing called SNS. Healthy natural nails… yes HEALTHY. Crazy right. Its ordor free durable, forever shine, its resistant to chipping and cracking, it doesn’t damage your nail bed and its healthy for your real nails because it adds calcium and vitamin E. I will never suffer again. They have a royal customer for life!!! Ask for Kathy shes amazing and is the only one who does SNS.

I went in for facial waxing and was treated kindly and respectfully. The woman who helped me did a thorough job and made sure I was satisfied.

I called last minute and mike the manager told me to come in even though they were close to closing! I rushed down and they welcomed me with open arms! I was assigned Susan for my pedicure and Annie for my manicure, both ladies were pretty sweet and kind to me and did a fantastic job! I recommend Both for pedi and mani’s! This shop has many colors to choose from along with the gel colors as well! They also have the signature nail system which is better than gel! I recommend this over gel because you don’t have to use the uv light! They have over 100 colors for this system too and they are all pretty colors to choose from! I was happy to know they sterilize there tools before using them in between clients! Super plus to me! Can wait to come back in 3wks for my usual mani/​pedi!

Seriously, the worst job I’ve ever had done. You get what you pay for. After just 2 days one of my nails already fell off. Also, they started to yellow right way due to the clear coat that was put on me. (Old and over-​used) I don’t know how I ended up with these little black dots, the design was supposed to be a perfect white only. You can see for yourself they are very lumpy. Careless and menial work. Never coming back.

Came in after work on my way home on a Wednesday evening. They took me right away and for $ 25 spa pedi/​mani done on one hour I have no complaints. They let me relax and stay as long as I needed. Would come back!

I decided to give myself a treat and get a spa mani/​pedi. I decided to go to Vina Nails where I have been before and liked the service.
I walked in and was immediately seated in the spa chair. I always feel like a queen when I can sit in those chairs and get the special attention from not just 1 person, but from 2!
I got the regular pedi, (I just couldn’t see paying an extra $ 7 per foot to remove caluses), but I did get the gel manicure, which was $ 15 more. They use Opi nail polish which I like. When I asked if they had a certain color they spent some time checking and making sure it was available.
The girls were very pleasant and personable and spoke to me. The manager was very pleasant and remembered from the last time I was there which was about 2 years ago, so that was nice.
The only thing I wasn’t a fan of, was if you use a credit/​debit card, they will not add on a tip. If you don’t have cash for the time, you have to use their ATM machine to get the cash, which charges a $ 1.95 fee.
Overall, pleased and pampered!

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had! I have been getting my nails done for years and I have never had such an awful experience. I asked for coffin shaped nails and most of them turned out square, my pinky is round, and one finger is coffin shaped. I got cut twice and didn’t say anything but when she put the alcohol for the gel polish it hurt so bad that I flinched and she asked what was wrong and I said that it went in my cut and then she was very quick to deny cutting me. She got nail polish all over my fingers, didn’t even paint the nails evenly, and didn’t paint my nails down to the base of the nail so they already look grown out! I have never posted a review before but I had to do it for this experience because it was so bad. Never going back.

I’m so happy I found this place living in the area! Kathy and Mike are so helpful and had several options on my first visit. They have the mani and pedi combo for $ 27. I think the pedi alone was $ 18. It’s a clean facility and they’re cheerful unlike some other places with that strange vibe you get because they tend to chat in their language the entire time lol.
They have SNS! It’s a new type of way to get nails done. Not gel but similar where the color will last and no more uv light needed, pretty cool!
Tips are done in cash ONLY (ATM) inside though

I came here for a mani/​pedi a few years ago and had an okay experience. I was really in need of a good pedicure and this was the closest place to me. I figured they had to be decent if they had 4 stars, so I decided to pay them a 2^nd visit.
I don’t remember my nail tech’s name but she sat a chair or 2 away from Lee. Anyways, first of all, she was really nice. However, she didn’t wear gloves, and she was too heavy handed for me when she went to scrub the bottom of my feet. I flinched, so instead of scrubbing softer, she just didn’t reply scrub my left foot. She didn’t really ask me how short I liked my nails. But the time she had started putting polish on, I realized my big toe nails were bone short.
When she finished, I paid her-​$ 18 pre-​tip and jumped into my car to run errands. Throughout the day, the more I had time to look at my toes, the more I realized how short and uneven they were. I guess nails grow back. But I feel like I have sausage toes.

They say «The only way to do great work is to love what you do.» & the lovely couple that owns this nail salon definitely LOVE what they do. By the moment you arrive you are greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello.
The salon has about 2 ½ walls filled with every nail polish color you can imagine & no matter how busy this place gets it always clean.

Mike (owner) does amazing work and he really does take his time to make sure you’ll walk out enthusiastic about your fresh set of nails. I’m pretty specific of how I want my nails done: clear acrylic, medium length, narrow, with a square tip with a rounded edges. & never has mike failed me. If you want his best work try getting him durning the week Mon — Thurs.

I can’t stress enough how much this place is chillest place to freshen up. The ladies the work here are genuinely nice not like other nail salons where they just hussle you for some extra $$ and talk shit in their languages.

They say laughter brings them good luck, and lots of customers. Truth is they make me laugh and giggle. I feel so comfortable and relaxed here. I know as soon as I walk in… I will be greeted with a smile. Mike and his wife Kathy are very kind. Anie is like my best friend trapped behind a nail salon desk. Lee is super sweet, she’s honest, and caring.
Anie worked on my acrylics. I am usually uptight and shaky due to my anxiety. But, she was very patient with me. While catching up on each others updates she finished my nails. No cuts! #Anieisamazing
Mike likes to flirt. With anyone who walks in. But Anie says he’s harmless. He kept calling me «girlfriend.» I told him he better stop calling me girlfriend or else mani pedi is free cause boyfriends are suppose to pay for those. Lol.

They are many great nail polish colors. Someone’s else’s review mentioned old polish. But as I browsed through the 2 walls of colors. I didn’t come across any old ones.
There are 2 tvs here. One is playing «Sex in the City,» Mikes favorite.

The best time to go is as soon as they open. Or call them and ask if they are busy. Trust me you don’t wanna wait.
I used to stress about nail salons. About getting cuts, being pushed into purchasing more than I needed. This salon is all about pampering you, and making you feel pretty. Not stressed!
The Pedis take place in a massage chair, with feet soaked in hot blue water. Oooooh feels so divine. There are arm rests, and cup holders if you wanna bring your favorite drink. ;)
