Valentina’s Tailoring

I came with a photo of a dress and my fabric. I wanted the perfect dress for my 50^th bday celebration. I had my dress in 3 weeks with a few fittings in between. And mind you it was the middle of prom /​graduation season. Valentina did an excellent job. I have nothing but praise. And very reasonable rates. You have a very happy repeat customer.

Worst experience ever! I went to them to get a bridesmaid dress altered. I came in one month before the wedding was told it would be ready in one week. After that week passed I kept being told «just a few more days». When i went in to pick it up it was obvious they hadn’t done the work (Let out at the bust and tailored in the sides-​easy!). Instead the lady had the nerve to tell me, «it’s not us it’s your body». What the Frack! So after I dried my eyes in the dressing room, the owner finally came and promised me it would be ready the next day. When i picked up the dress they had only taken in one side of the dress and did not fix a small tear at the base of the zipper. As I was leaving the owner suggested I «keep working out». The dress was a mess and fit funny and I couldn’t find another tailor to fix it in time. They made me pay in advance and refused to give me money back. If i could give them negative 5 stars I would.
