USC Parking Structure X

No elevator. Had to carry my amps and guitars up and down the stairs for a gig here. UGH.

Actually it’s ok. Haha JK this the is THE WORST PARKING STRUCTURE IN LA, AND LIKELY, THE WORLD. Bring a fork so you can poke yourself in the eye, then twist it around a bit, so you can temporarily be distracted by the painful hour and a half you have to sit here while you wait to exit this horrible parking structure after any big USC event. Worst thing ever.

I wish I could offer negative stars for this garage.
We are presently an hour into our wait to exit this garage — we have moved literally nowhere. My life is literally wasting away.
Do not, for the love of god park here… you will regret it.

PSX is a nightmare. I don’t park here on a regular basis, but when I do, I always have trouble going in and out. Finding parking within the structure can also be a struggle at times.
Students can buy a semester parking pass for $ 270 (I believe), but that doesn’t guarantee you a spot. You just have to hope that when you arrive, there are vacant spots. My friend does this, and I THINK she doesn’t find it a problem for the most part. She does have classes at irregular times though, so it might just be that she’s trying to park when everyone else isn’t.
I think they can better light this parking structure. It’s always dim, and kind of gives off a dirty vibe. Or better yet, renovate the whole place for better architecture/​wider parking spots.

I am a USC graduate student who drives a scooter and parks here everyday. Although PSX is easy for me to get in and out of I know that is not the case for my fellow students, faculty, and staff that drive cars. Therefore, for a class project my team and I will be conducting a thorough analysis of PSX to identify the major constraints and provide a few actionable improvement recommendations.
This is USC, we should have better and I am hoping you will join me in being part of the solution. Please comment on all that you like and don’t like about PSX. Ready go!

it gets one star for its location but the whole structure is inefficient. The parking spaces are small and can barely fit a regular car.

Standard parking fee is ten dollars. Expensive as is for Los Angeles parking right? Then on event days, it jumps to a whopping twenty-​five dollars and it’s going to take forever and a day to get on out. If you need to drop off your student, just drop them off and leave, parking here isn’t worth it. The location is convenient however so I guess I’ll give this place two stars.

This is the MAIN parking structure for USC. They always tell parents, visitors and other peeps to park here if you are going to visit the campus for tours, events etc.
The only good thing about this structure is that it’s situated at a prime location; right next to the quad and very close to Tommy Trojan and the main part of campus.
However, it’s quite expensive to park here ($ 10 usually) and it’s ALWAYS congested with cars since it’s the main lot people use. Prepare for a clusterf**k of bad drivers, lost parents and other random people.
As for me, when my parents visit I have them park in the lot near parking structure B which is WAY cheaper and less crowded. It’s off of Jefferson St. near Webb/​Fluor Tower and kind of on the other side of campus but it’s a lot better if you don’t mind walking.

I’ve never been so ridiculously upset with a place that I had to draft a review while in the location waiting to get out of this place. How freaking ridiculous is their method system on how to get cars out in a timely and proper manner?! It’s supposed to be USC and given how they have dealt with events from before, you think they would find a better method to eradicating the incessant need for traffic in their very own structure.
I can’t believe I actually spent an hour and half waiting on the 6^th floor trying to get out of this joint?!! I could’ve been back in San Diego by then if not San Clemente! I would NEVER recommend this place and additionally, if I could give this place negative stars I would!
I’ve never been so disappointed in a place in my life until now. Shame on you USC!!!
