Jon was our DJ for our wedding in October 2015. I can not say enough good things about Jon! Hands down, best DJ and vendor experience. It was the best dance party we could ask for– he played such a crucial part of the wedding with style and ease! His mixes were amazing! All our friends were raving about him the next day and the epic dance party he threw down. They’d be fools not have him at their own future weddings! We could not have asked for a better DJ, he kept the crowd on their feet all night long. We had such an amazing time!

Worked with Jon and Zach was our DJ for our 300+ non-​profit event at the W Hollywood this past Saturday. From the initial meeting, to the actual event, everything ran flawlessly and they both were «on top of it!» Zach was so easy-​going and «read” the crowd right and everyone had a blast. There was no dull moments in the night and he even emceed when we needed him to. Jon was very professional and orchestrated the music portion of our event and checked in the ‘week of’ to make sure there were no hiccups the night of. DEFINITELY would use them again!!!

Jon knew exactly what to play and the timing was impeccable. Everyone told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that’s saying A LOT! We had a choreographed dance and Jon timed the music perfectly. We had to give him minimal instructions — he just knew what do play. His lighting package was also amazing — it felt like a Hollywood party!

We used Unite Entertainment (Jon Brown) for our wedding on 5÷2÷15 and he couldn’t have been any better. Seriously, hiring Jon as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made planning for our wedding.
Jon was referred to us by family friends who were using him for their daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. The entire process, from our first initial meeting until the day before the wedding last minute crazy song changes by us, was seamless and taken care of by Jon personally. This is no exaggeration either — we had some VERY last minute song/​timing/​schedule changes and Jon did not say a word and accommodated us in a professional manner.
As for the wedding, well, Jon was so good at keeping people dancing and playing the right music, one of my best friends hired him the following week for his wedding later this year. If that’s not one of the best reviews of someone’s performance, I don’t know what is. For the weeks following our wedding, all my family and friends talk about is how fun the party was, how great the music was and how people seemed to be «dancing all night.»
I would absolutely, and highly, recommend Jon Brown and Unite Entertainment to anybody looking for a DJ/​MC for their wedding, party, Bar/​Bat Mitzvah, etc… Jon is a professional who has been doing this for many years and takes a lot of worry and concern out of event planning being that you don’t have to worry about the DJ end of things.

Jon Brown of Unite Entertainment is the BEST!!! Our wedding was this past Saturday in San Diego (3÷28÷15), and, as I explained to Jon, because he was recommended by my wedding planner and I knew so little about him, he was kind of the «wild card» in that I didn’t know exactly what to expect. I could NOT have been more pleasantly surprised. I could not have had more fun. I could not have loved the music more. I would hire him again 10 million times.
Granted, we had a GREAT crowd at our wedding, but I’ve never met a dj who knows how to READ said crowd better than Jon. He is a consummate professional! From the second he started playing soft «salad» music, our wedding guests never left the dance floor, and we partied all night! The wedding was a fairytale and, as requested, the opposite of stuffy. Thank you, Jon, for helping Dan and I have the night of our lives!

Having the right DJ can make or break your wedding — it sets the tone for the whole day/​night, energy, and fun. DJ Jon Brown came highly recommended and we instantly loved him when we first met him. We were excited to work with him, we already knew he’d be fantastic, but he exceeded our hopes and expectations by far! He blew us away! He set the perfect tone we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and of course reception and dance party! We were blown away, and he is simply the best DJ ever!!!

DJ Jon is the absolute best! He’s super friendly, easy-​to-​work-​with, intuitive and doesn’t make it about himself. We just had a fantastic wedding and couldn’t have done it without Jon. He ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish and when it was time for dancing, he kept the party going and played a perfectly awesome selection of music. We had such a fun night — we received tons of compliments from our guests about Jon and we HIGHLY recommend him for your next event!

Unite entertainment was the best! Working with them was a breeze and the day of was better than I ever imagined. Our DJ Danny was great! Everything from the beach ceremony, which seriously sounded better than any beach ceremony I had ever attended, to the cocktail hour, to the first dance, which was a requested medley that Danny whipped up for us within hours, everything was just perfect. I wish I could do it all again!

Thank you so much for being a part of our big day this past summer! We had set our expectations pretty high, but our wedding surpassed anything we could have imagined thanks to your work. Jon, the music you put together was perfect and really matched the feel of our wedding. The flow of the wedding was extraordinary, and we could not have asked for a better artist to bring the wedding to life (and bring everyone to the dance floor!). DJ Jon Brown was FANTASTIC at our 6÷29÷13 wedding reception. With all the pre-​wedding craze, we didn’t get him our musical preferences and selections until the very last minute. He managed to pull it off perfectly and we could not have been happier. Our guests of all ages were on the dancefloor for hours and were chanting «one more song!» at the end of the party. No one wanted it to end and I know that had everything to do with DJ Jon being the best at what he does.

We selected Unite Entertainment and Jon Brown as our DJ and emcee for our wedding this past August. Jon came highly recommended from our photographer, and once we met Jon we were convinced he was going to be the right person for the job. We had a wedding of 160 guests, with a fun crowd from the ages of 8 to 88. Let’s just say that both the 8 year old and the 88 year old were dancing all night! Jon was absolutely amazing! Not only was he the best event DJ I have ever heard, but he also has the best equipment and set-​up which adds to the value you get with Unite Entertainment.
Jon played an amazing mix of music all night, and unlike other event DJs, he is actually mixing the songs into a cohesive sound. There was never a dull moment between tracks, and he was able to play songs that appealed to everyone at the wedding. He even mixed our intro song into a mash-​up that was done flawlessly. There’s also one more very important thing to consider with Jon and Unite Entertainment, and that is emceeing. We met a ton of wedding DJs that were just too cheesy or at the other extreme simply boring. Not Jon– he kept the crowd engaged, while never overpowering the event. One of our wedding coordinators told us that the single most important aspect of having a fun reception is the «flow» of the reception, and that flow is dictated by the DJ. Jon has perfected the flow of what a fun and enjoyable wedding is all about. Feel very lucky that you have found the best at what they do with Unite Entertainment.

Jon Brown was the DJ for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah and he was amazing. We didn’t want the typical Mitzvah DJ, but wanted it to be a party with night club type music that made people want to dance and not sit. He did that and more. He was so great to work with and his music was unbelievable. We would use Jon for any event… we wish we could have parties all the time. Feel very comfortable and confident with him and HAVE FUN. You will be thrilled.

WOW! This DJ is amazing! Jon and his crew came down to my sons party a few weeks ago and they were just AMAZING. Once everyone started coming in he started playing music and getting everyone (of all ages) on the dance floor. I could clearly see EVERYONE was dancing and having a GREAT TIME. The dancers were incredible, one did a back flip and spun on his head. After the party I got calls from a ton of people thanking me for such a great party, and I knew that I had picked the right DJ for the job. I would recommend Jon 100% to anyone and would use him in the blink of an eye next time I throw a party.
