UDream Dental – Los Angeles 2

just came back with my temporary crown installed. A very good experience. The staff and assistants there are very patient. They discussed with me the condition of my teeth in detail. the doctor (su/​will) is very skillful. the process is quick and ordered. the managers are nice people, too. will go to have my permanent crown put on in 12 days. i’m pretty sure it will be good.

DO NOT COME HERE. TRUST ME. FIND A MORE SKILLED AND ETHICAL DENTIST ELSEWHERE. I’m sitting here right now nursing a toothache for a filling I’ve had to replace twice now.
I’ve been coming here for around two years now and I’m DONE with this place. I’m officially looking for a new dentist.
A while back I was pressured to get a $ 250 gold filling (even with insurance) on one of my molars because they said it was highly recommended for the way my cavity was. They said that a normal porcelain filling just wasn’t right for my tooth or the way the cavity was shaped, etc. I give in to what they say because ‘I’m no dentist so what do I know’? A month later my filling ends up falling out while eating. Can you say shitty filling job? I go back to get the filling replaced and they say they won’t give me a replacement for the gold filling and they can only give me a lesser quality porcelain filling. Isn’t it their fault that the filling fell out?
OK, WHATEVER, it’s not an argument I’m going to win. So I get the porcelain filling this time cos I’m not spending another $ 250 on another gold piece of shit that might fall out again. Somehow, this time they say the porcelain filling is just fine anyway, even though the last time they specifically said gold was the only way to go (what the fuck?). So, I get it filled in. It just doesn’t fit right. They shave the filling down to try and make the fit more comfortable and it still isn’t fitting right after multiple times of them reshaping it. They finally say, «let it be for now because you’ll get used to it and it’s just uncomfortable right now». Uhhh… Really? Is that how it works? I’m trusting my dentist at this point because I’m guessing he knows what should be right. But the fit is just uncomfortable. I live with this discomfort for the next couple weeks. It cracks finally while I’m eating one day. I call back again and tell them what the fuck is up. They tell me to come in AGAIN to fix it. Like it’s no fucking big deal. No apology. I’ve had to get off work early to go to these goddamn appointments. I’ve had to deal with weeks’ worth of pain and discomfort not to mention the painful process itself.
So I come in again yesterday and they put another filling in. I eat dinner last night after the procedure but I’m still numb from the Novocain. so I can’t really tell if I’m in pain or not. Today for lunch I eat Phở and I can’t even chew with that side of my mouth because the tooth is so damn sensitive. It feels like the filling is just sitting directly on top of the damn nerve. Seriously, FUCK THIS PLACE. By the way, they fucked up on a different tooth twice now too LOL. Straight GARBAGE.

Went here for the first time not too long ago to get consulted regarding braces and/​or veneers, and was greeted warmly by staff and dentists. I felt like I was being treated as a king as I was escorted to get my xrays done; very few places give you that feeling. I also was very impressed with the dentist who gave me an honest assessment of my teeth. Overall, a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again to get all of my dental needs taken care of!

** this review is for the office closer to the parking lot. I guess there are two offices, both with the same name, but run independently from each other.**
So I’m waiting for my mom to finish her cleaning and I have to say, I love this place. I’ve been coming here for the past year and have had such a wonderful experience. Between my mom and myself, we’ve had all sorts of teeth issues, and it’s been surprisingly not awful. (I would say pleasant or great but come on, we’re talking about dentists!).
The facility is clean and high tech. Their X-​ray system is awesome and quick, and the dentists are great about communicating their concerns with you as you review your film with them. They are meticulous and very skilled.
Their front staff is accommodating and friendly. They also have this «consultant» system where they assign you a person who kinda becomes your dental advocate: Reminds you of your appointments and calls you to see how you’re doing after your visit, speaks to you about pricing and insurance coverage, and just makes sure your experience is smooth. (My consultant is Danny, very energetic and enthusiastic guy).
I’m kind of obsessed with my dental health and have been to several dental offices. I recommend this place to everyone in my family, especially the ones afraid of the dentist.
Ps. The manager, Sharon, at this location is so sweet. She held my mom’s hand because she was so nervous. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of service like this.

Today was my first visit. I really loved it. They were very welcoming and friendly. Everyone was nice and helpful. I can feel that they really care about their patients! I will recommend this place to my friends and family. I will surely be back. Thank you UD for the fantastic experience :)

UD Dental LA #2 is the best dentistry hands down. The dentists here are phenomenal and very friendly! Though I normally don’t write reviews on Unilocal,this place is so great that I had to write one. I’m deathly afraid of the dentist, but this place makes me feel super comfortable and I actually enjoy coming here. The office is super clean, and they even have a TV in the receptionist area which is awesome. The staff is very accommodating, patient, and genuinely try to help you with your dental needs. If you’re trying to find a new dentist in LA, or want to change dentists, UD Dental LA #2 is definitely worth checking out. They even offer $ 1 scaling, which is definitely a great deal. You won’t regret it :)

I can say with confidence that there IS a difference in dentist professionalism and ability. That is the first experience you have with United Dental Group LA#2. I recently switched to this dentist due to the horrible encounter I had with the previous dentist and I am SO glad I switched. I never thought a dentist experience can be actually good. Beginning from the receptionists in the front to the manager of the branch, everyone in the dentist is out to satisfy you to the fullest. I was there for my braces and felt the difference right away. They were confident and knew exactly what they were doing, effectively! All in all, I appreciated all the employees in their service and professionalism. Highly recommend this place :) OH, and please don’t confuse branch #1 and #2 they are a totally different experience as well ;).

I called UD Group LA1 (#207A) but the girl that received my call was not only rude, but she seemed very apathetic to my problems. I was so displeased with the service there, I made an appointment at UD Group LA2 (#207E), which is located right next to the unpleasant one. I was a bit scared that I might have the same bad experience as the first one, but the receptionist, Sara, was so kind and patient with me. I made an appointment with her right away.
When I got there, the Branch Manager herself came out and walked through me with all the treatment and payment plans, which really impressed me. You could tell her main focus was to please the patients, and indeed I felt very satisfied. After I was done with with my first examination, the Manager, Sharon, offered me to do Scaling, which was on promotion for only a $ 1! ONLY A DOLLAR! My teeth felt super clean and looked so white.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience here~

Loved my experience here! I got my teeth scaled by Chelsea and it was amazing! I decided to get my braces here :) staff is really helpful and the receptionists are all really pretty! Thank you Sharon manager for being super attentive and Dr. Jooyoung for taking care of me :) there’s two United dental offices but I went to the LA 2 branch.

Here they took care of my front tooth implant. Teeth cleaning. Teeth whitening. They are very professional & very clean. Very affordable. The doctor there is very educated. If you have any problems ask for Sharon she’s the best manager!

I recently switched over to United Dental Group this past month. Let me just tell you this:
BEST. DENTAL. EVER.
First off, make sure you don’t go to the wrong place. There are two United Dental Groups on the same floor, located right besides each other. I went to United Dental Group LA 2 not LA 1. Not saying LA 2 is better (never been to LA 1), but my first experience here went so well that I decided to commit here.
This is my second time getting braces (first time here) so I could tell that the process here is much more efficient. They have up-​to-​date equipment and lots of rooms. the place was much bigger than I had imagined. They also have great deals such as $ 1 scaling and $ 300 retainers.
Other great points about this place:
— Extremely well-​furnished
— SUPER friendly staff (The manager, Sharon, is amazing!)
— Tons of skilled, friendly dentists
— Fluency in both English and Korean
If you live around the area and you’re looking for a better dental, check this place out. You won’t be disappointed, I assure you. Look out for receptionist Esther and consultant Minsun! They made sure I was 100% satisfied with the service before I left. I don’t think I’ve ever spent more time laughing than feeling miserable during a dentist appointment.

I brought my mom here a couple of days ago for a check up because she was in a lot of pain. My mom was hesitant to go see a dentist in the first place because she’s not very fond of the idea of what they do there. However, the manager Sharon plus all the staff there made my mom feel comfortable and at place. This made her become more open and she decided to begin her procedures here.
The staff at UD dental are very friendly. Also, their prices are also affordable and they allow payment plans.
