Tonya Kay’s Pinup Pole Show

My husband and I had a great time. Brought a car for the classic car show and watched the pole show. Girls are amazing. What a fun night.

Tonya is the epitome of cool without trying to be. A natural performer with a kick ass sense of humor and a body that doesn’t quit (being a trained dancer working professionally for 26 years will do that).
She welcomed the audience with open, impressively toned arms (fueled by vegan living) without any vibe of entitlement. Her unique combo of poise and moxie made it clear she owned the room. It was Tonya Kay’s dazzling retro world full of creativity and sex appeal — and we were happy to be living in it.
From the moment Tonya introduced herself and her captivating pole posse — three darling ladies so lovely in their own right it was hard to focus on just one — the audience was all in.
With Monica Kay, Candace Cane and Heather Lou (coincidentally, all vegan beauties as well) in Tonya’s corner, the energy of the room was off the charts. The entire audience was happily on board with the realization that what we were witnessing was a unique collection of performances that reminded us — dreams can be realized.
Pinup beauties? Check. Rockabilly vibe and classic cars on display? Done. Pole dancing? Beyond.
What filled the space within the 70 minute show was pure magic. Part vaudeville, burlesque and retro fashion that takes you back to old Hollywood glamour. Part slapstick comedy in heels (not to be outdone by one stellar performance in roller skates). Every number was impeccably styled and choreographed, sprinkled with sex appeal, dipped in pure talent.
Tonya’s show is more than a burlesque performance. Through creative, sensual and sometimes laugh out loud moments (don’t get me started on Tonya’s auto mechanic number) her and her pole posse take us on a journey of epicurean entertainment. None of them take themselves too seriously on stage, which the audience not only picks up on but appreciates. There were whistles and laughter throughout the night, which is easy to believe when you get your tickets (reasonably priced ranging from $ 15.00 — $ 40.00) and see for yourself.
If Tonya’s show is an amusement ride, the audience is transformed into wide-​eyed children in roller coasters that instinctively throw up their arms, woohoo!-ing in wonder, watching these beauties command the stage and pole with effervescence, strength and style.

Took a group of my friends to see this show, it was amazing! These girls are all soo crazy talented we were all floored, especially Candace! And the best part was it was also fun, filled with jokes and good music and just a plain old good time! If you like cars, or you like the pin up girl look or just want to have fun I highly recommend seeing this show :)

I pole dance for fun, and I admit: I sometimes get bored at pole shows. Not the case with this one!!! Tonya does such a good job of keeping the show fun and moving — I was sad when it was over! The energy is great, the sets and outfits are so cute, and the performers are really excited and appreciate their audience. Would definitely go back :) Plus it’s always nice to look at classic cars. All the parts of the show are entertaining and fit the theme so well. Thanks for a fun night!

Full disclosure: I am the mother to one of the amazingly talented cast members, however, am not biased. This isn’t some 3^rd grade play that I have to go to because, well, its my parental duty… That being said, Tonya Kay’s Pinup Pole Show is the complete embodiment of what a production like this should be; It’s exciting yet seductive, provocative and intriguing, not to mention tantalizing. Hands down the best Pinup, pole, cruise in, burlesque show I’ve ever seen and totally encourage everyone who’s reading this to GET YOUR TICKETS NOW.

Superb in every way! I’ve been to the show three times. First time, I was hooked… and I’m gay! These are some sexy ladies with class and sass. It titillates and entertains. True burlesque as there is a little skin and sensuality perfectly blended with humor (naughty and nice). The classic cars are a real treat and for car enthusiasts, you it will blow your mind. I adore the theme of Pinup because it presents women at their best: smart, sassy, sexy, and fun. Tonya Kay has the best show I’d seen in a decade, hands down. All the performers are true athletes as well, and I remember Tonya Kay saying some of them have won medals. I want to write all about it, but you have to be there, and see it to really appreciate it. Shout out to Candace, Heather, Tiffany Rose, and Heather for each bringing it!!! Love it. And, I will be back.

A great show! This production was classy, fun, and sexy! I pole dance as a hobby and from experience I can tell you these ladies are pro dancers and athletes. My boyfriend was also super impressed, I think he loved the show even more than I did.
Really fun with a small group or even a date night.

Seriously one of the most entertaining theatrical shows I have seen in a long time. Yes, it is burlesque (very tastefully done, I might add) and pole dancing (forget what you’ve «learned» about pole dancing at strip clubs, this is far more art and performance…16 feet in the air, no less!) but it is so much more. There are masterful story arcs in each performance and audience participation is urged. And you’ll want to be involved. It’s that much fun.
All the gals are fantastic in both their physical performance but also their theatrical presentation. Not to mention, they are all gorgeous. And Tonya Kay? Simply amazing. Both in look and in performance, she reminds me of Lucile Ball at her best. Sharp, witty, funny, and engaging, she is like Carol Burnett in pasties. This show is the one you take friends, girlfriends, and wives to. It’s audience friendly and just plain fun.
In addition, the food and drink at the Federal is fantastic and if you have a hot rod, or muscle car, bring it in. There’s plenty of photo opportunities and you’ll have a chance to win some prizes! And if you are a lady who rocks the pin-​up style, go all out and dress up! You’ll can win some great prizes too by showing your passion for pin-​up!
In closing, this is a fantastic show and I’ll be seeing it again!

I’ve been to many pole shows around LA, but this is hands down the BEST! Great energy, talented cast, highly entertaining, and the cocktails and food at the venue (The Federal Bar) are superb. I also enjoyed the added elements of the pre-​show drive-​in car show, the pin-​up art show, and vendors out on the deck. Tonya Kay is a visionary, and this show is worth every cent!

The more times I sew this show the more I am blown away by the creativity and entertainment value of this show. All of the performers genuinely enjoy what they do so much and the hostess Tonya is just so impressive. If you love looking at classic cars then you need to check out the classic car show that goes on in the parking lot before the show! There is just so much put into this very original show you will not be disappointed in anyway when you see it.

Wow. Just wow. Tonya’s show is ROCKING! The skits, the sets, the talent of the pole dancers, the costumes, hair & make up, the music… everything amazeballs and so classy. This show really made me feel like I was in Old Hollywood, but with the modern twist of pole dancing. YOU must get yourself to NoHo to check this out. Hidden gem for sure!!!

I LOVE THIS SHOW! I have always loved pole dance but the added classic cars and pinup vibe was so much fun! I look forward to the next show!
It is so well thought out and well produced. I felt like they really planned it well and took time to really entertain me! Everything from the music to the themes and host of the show. The dancers were all so very talented — I have seen a couple of the dancers in other productions in the past but this was the best by far!

Tanya and her girls bring so much fun and sexiness to the evening! Certainly a must for anybody in Los Angeles or visiting!

The performers are top-​notch athletes and performing artists and they’re beautiful, too. The music and the vibe is super fun. I don’t know much about pole-​dancing and burlesque but it seems these women are giving a seminar on the art form. And lotsa cool classic cars.

The car show starts with a cruise and ends up in the parking lot of the Federal Bar in North Hollywood so lot’s of very cool classic and custom cars to to check out before the pole show. The Federal is a great venue with a spacious upstairs room with a large bar and performing stage that also includes a long pole that stands in the middle of the seated audience.
What you get for this portion of the evening is an awesome retro style mid-​century burlesque show complete with nostalgia fashion and performances, and the performances by the group of talented dancers that make up the pole show is well worth the price of admission. Tonya also includes the audience with prizes for best classic/​custom car and Best Vintage Dressed and you have the opportunity to have seated pre-​show dinner & drinks and a bird’s eye view of the evenings various performances
I strongly recommend this very cool car and burlesque show to anyone who has an interest in this sort of thing and if you’ve never experienced a burlesque show it’s about time to broaden your horizons and check it out … you won’t be disappointed

Loved this evening of classic cars, burlesque, and incredible pole dancers. The show is amazing in and of itself, but the event that Tonya Kay has created with the stunning cars and interactive audience opportunities (styling, photo booth, walk-​off) is what makes it such a unique and not-​to-​be-​missed evening. Will definitely be back for more.
