We are not jewelers, we are professional, certified and authorized watch service center. We focus on watches ONLY. We specialize in ROLEX, CARTIER, PIAGET, OMEGA, TAG HEUER! AWCI certified watchmaker (CW21) with 40 years experience on high grade watches. Specializing in ROLEX and PIAGET service and repair. Factory trained and certified in Switzerland. ONLY genuine parts used. Authorized service center for Cartier, Aquadive, Doxa, AB Aeterno, Michel Jordi, Tarondo, T2Q, ORIENT and Polar heart rate monitors.

Just a friendly reminder. Anyone can be a member of AWCI, but NOT necessarily is certified by AWCI. Please ask for a proof of AWCI certification before you leave your precious timepiece with them.

History

Established in 2002.

Time-​Tec Watch Service Center, a family owned company, was established in 2002. The owner/​watchmaker, Kevork is factory trained in Switzerland and AWCI certified (CW21). He has 40 years experience in servicing high grade Swiss watches. He was the senior watchmaker and technical assistant manager at Movado Group in Century City for 14 years when Movado decided to close it’s doors in California. We have a fast, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced customer care team. Every year, Kevork attends international watch fairs around the world such as the Baselworld in Switzerland and the Watch and Clock Fair in Hong Kong to stay on top of the latest developments in watch manufacturing and servicing.

40 years experience servicing high grade watches. AWCI Certified watchmaker (CW21). Trained and certified on Piaget watches in Switzerland in 1994. Trained on modern and vintage watches, including Rolex, Cartier, Omega and many more… Expert in servicing Rolex watches by using ONLY original parts. Attends at least one advanced class for certified Watchmakers a year. last year did 3 advanced classes 2 for Rolex (1 of them at the Lititz, PA Rolex watchmaking school and the other at the AWCI headquarters in OH) and 1 for new Omega movements with Swatch Group. Lo and behold my beloved watch started running slow and I had to take it back to Kevork for a re-​diagnosis. Kevork informed me it was running dry and needed servicing. Average service time frame runs about every 5 years, which was exactly about the time when I received the watch as a Christmas gift.
It takes two weeks to service a watch, but I needed the watch in one week and Kevork was able to accommodate my request. Watch service comes with 1-​year warranty.
In addition to Kevork’s exceptional qualifications and expertise on watches, the entire team is very friendly, professional, and helpful.

I tried other watch places all over LA before I found Time-​Tec and they are now the only place that I trust with all my watches. It has a very comfortable small waiting area with TV and free wifi. The staff is always friendly and they always handle your watches with care. And their price is just absolutely amazing.
I had battery changes before and am always pleased. The last time I went I needed my watch resized with couple metal links taken out. I originally wanted 3 links but the watchmaker recommended 2. I’m so glad that I listened to him because he was right. But when I tried to pay, he said resizing is free! Like what?! They have me as a customer for life right then and there.

I met Kevork today and I find him very professional and I trusted my Rolex to him for repair. He even gave me a free battery (2) for my Philip Stein and charge me of $ 10 for the battery of my Burberry Watch. He even gave me 2 years warranty for the repair of my Rolex which I will be able to get before Christmas (hopefully).

First of all, Kevork runs a well organized high tech watch laboratory where he attends to his watches. It’s easy to reach them by phone, and they are even open on Saturdays. Second, he knows his stuff. He has the credentials and experience to solve any problem, and is authorized to work with Cartier, Rolex, etc. Third, he diagnosed my problem immediately, quoted me a very fair price, and turned around the repair in a couple of days.
I brought in my Cartier roadster because my hour hand was loose. He looked at it and knew immediately what the problem was, and quote me a price. A couple of days later, it was ready and was back to normal. He even gave me the water resistance testing documentation.
He is very very thorough, and I am lucky to have found him. I will always go to him first for any of my watch repairs.

i waited 2 weeks to see if everything works fine on my like new omega seamaster (James Bond) I brought it to Kevork, I think he is the owner, a kindhearted guy and guess what, he gave me $ 20 bucks discount. I’m pretty sure, he is really good on what he is doing that’s why I went to him to service my watch, does not keep perfect time anymore, so need TLC, he said 2 weeks but I got it early and done in a week, I was really happy, my watch looks new again, when I took it to him, there’s scratches everywhere! Wow but important to me is that my watch keeps perfect time now, Kevork is the man! Will come back again! Thank you sir!

When my dad handed me down his Rolex Daytona, the mechanism was off and I didn’t feel comfortable sending it to the Rolex Headquarters in Texas (where Daytonas can only be fixed in the US). I also didn’t want to pay 1k+ for a simple fix. I came to Time Tec and spoke to the watch repair gentleman (who i believe to be the owner). He was knowledgeable and certain that he can fix the problem. I came back 2 weeks later and the watch looks amazing and is working properly. Thank you Time Tec for the amazing service. I’ll definitely be coming here again for any of my watch repairs.

My beloved IWC Portuguese Chronograph lost a hand off the small minutes dial. Time Tec managed to replace the loose dial in 15 minutes. At no charge!!!

as a Rolex Enthusiast, I only trust the very best to even look at my watches! Kevork Markarian serviced and repaired my 16 700 GMT within a short time and had it delivered back to me via Fedex. My GMT got a new main spring, new seals and was tested for water resistance. I took before and after pictures to be able to tell the quality of the refinishing procedure and I was amazed by it! Not only does it look like brand new again, it also keeps perfect time and the «unrepairable» inner tube issue with my bracelet was repaired.
I will be back for the hands to be replaced and maybe a new saphire glas.
I trust Kevork with any watch at all times and highly recommend his craftmenship and expertise — not to forget that he is an absolute Gentleman, treating his Customers in a very polite and kind way. If you need to find someone you can trust 100%, look no further!

These people are great! I saw and purchased a $ 10 for $ 5 deal assuming a battery change and sizing of a watch should at least cost that much. When I arrive I am told they have a free battery replacement deal on Unilocal that I had missed. Then they told me that sizing is free!!! What? Both services were free. They didn’t want to take my money. Good customer service is what it is all about! Go check them out. BTW. I looked for a new place because a watch repair across the street changed my battery leas than a year ago and it died already.

I waited a while to write this review, so I could test the repair over the course of some months.
I took my Hamilton mechanical watch here after another repair shop (Shant’s) fouled up the mainspring… twice. Not only did Time-​Tec get it back to me quickly, but my watch has been keeping better time than it did even when new. Definitely worth the drive downtown.

Oh man!!! What a sweet lady! Came in to get my watch resized because I was in the area. Got in, got it sized within 5 minutes. It was time for me to pay $ 5 when I realized I didn’t have any cash on me. I offered to go to ATM to pay and the lady would not accept my offer and just told me to come back if I have any other watch issues. For sure I’ll be coming back!!!

Update review 6÷27÷15 — 2nd visit.
Today I brought another Rolex Sub, a 14 060 to Time Tec to see if a service is needed because I feel like the time is running slower, I want it to be a least running within the COSC spec :)
Kevork still remembers me, he took the watch to get it time tested right away and it is running fine within the spec. He told me that a service is not needed right now but bring it back again next time.
I’ll come back again next time to get the service and crystal replacement done together at the same time. :)

I foolishly tried to change my watch battery myself and broke the minute hand in the process.
I had the Unilocal check-​in offer for a free battery change but brought it in for service first. Time-​Tec was awesome… Opened it up and fixed the watch, cleaned the inside, changed the battery all for free — a little something extra for the check in offer — and did it all in 10 minutes while I waited.
Learned my lesson: I’m not a professional, so I should take my watch to this place for EVERYTHING even if it seems simple.

You would think it would be hard to drive into Downtown, but it’s not. They don’t close for lunch, which is a huge plus. I took in my Rolex and Cartier. They took their time and did a great job. The main watchmaker helped me personally, and walked me through it. He even gave me a tour of the service center where they do most of the work, very clean and organized. I recommend them for any type of watch service, especially the higher grade watches. (Great factory service without the crazy factory prices).

I really love family owned businesses like Time Tec. It is located on the second floor of an office building on Hill Street in the jewelry district. I have been here for battery changes but every time I have gone, the workers are extremely nice and the wait is not too terrible.
The owner, Kevork, is friendly, professional and great at his craft. His speediness and dozens of certifications on the walls to prove how good he is.
Tip: Right now there is a Unilocal check in deal for a free battery change (for most watch brands).
