The Science of On-Camera Acting

I went to Andrea because I have friends who have gone to network off auditions coached with her. My manager and the CD flipped over the audition we shot and they’ve sent it to producers. I’m really glad I taped with her because I worked on my audition and was happy with what I was doing but she caught some bad habits that looked distracting on camera, and suggested choices that were smarter and more interesting. Everything you hear about her is true. You learn things you aren’t going to get anywhere else. She gets you from good to great.

Andrea Morris’ on camera class ROCKS!!! I wasn’t sure about doing a class on camera because I didn’t want to get to self conscious. After taking this class I grew more comfortable in front of the camera. And I was able to get instant feedback of my take and see for myself how I can improve my work. I am so appreciative of this class. Andrea Morris is a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable teacher. She really knows how to lead actors in the right direction without making people feel inadequate. We all leave the class feeling like we learned something and with the tools of how to improve. She deeply cares for her students and all the students really want to learn and hone their acting craft. I am so grateful I found this wonderful class. And if I may say, a little embarrassed about my past auditions before this class. Try it for yourself and see!!!

Andrea Morris is amazing. I have been in this business for 25 years and have studied with Larry Moss, Sally Johnson, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler and Larry Moss. Andrea is different. She is not interested in all the complicated actor-​speak that can confuse an actor that is trying to get film and telelvision work. Andrea is all about whatever actually works on the camera. To get the job. Andrea is about making choices that create results that are unique or simply what the part requires. Actually I kind of hate talking about this class because it is the best on-​camera class I have ever taken, tailor made for invidual students needs and I love the fact that it is small and accessible. Beware! Andrea will make you work on the points where you are weak and she will not back off. She has made me stronger in my film acting and I have booked my last two jobs because of it; emphasizing less is more and you never know what is going to work until you see the playback. You would be very luck to work with her.

This is the best on-​camera class ever. I learn so much, so quickly and even booked a supporting role in a feature film straight from an audition we uploaded during a coaching session. The best gift is being able to see yourself and increase your awareness as a performer and human being. Andrea has a keen sense of focus and an almost magical ability to help you get the best audition you can and the tools to do it as much of the time as possible. Even though it’s hard work, class is really enjoyable and comfortable and you’re not gonna believe the difference this makes until you’re doing it. I feel at home there. I’d love to give you the secrets that I’ve learned but you’re gonna have to try it for yourself. Did I mention I booked a role straight from a coaching?
