I was in here for the first time last week to find a few necklaces for my wife: great selection of vintage pieces as well as new designs.
Today I brought my wife in to look at some second hand clothes and she found lots of things to love.
The owner is super nice (especially to my two daughters that were with me both times).
I also love all of the artisan gift items.

I can’t say enough good things about this adorable little family-​owned vintage store. They have a wonderful selection of vintage and used items with fantastic prices. It’s extremely well curated — a mix of used clothing and new accessories and gifts from small makers.
I am always made to feel welcome — I dropped by yesterday not too long before closing and the owner stayed open late so I could try on a few extra things. I was pleased to see they replaced the flourescent lights hanging over the dressing room with some attractive new fixtures that provide a more flattering light :)

This store is a gem. The owner is fantastic and just generally a class-​act (please take the time to look over the non-​profits she supports: their info is on a table just to the left when you walk in), but is also exactly the kind of person you would hope to find running a shop like hers.
Case in point, I was torn between a dress I adored and a pair of jeans I could (and do) wear the heck out of. Her advice when I said I was on a super tight budget was to get the item I could use the most and to wait on the dress. Y’all, that’s a real, wonderful woman right there.

I really love this shop! The owner, Jackie, is wonderful and friendly. I used to work close by, but I still find myself popping in every so often to say hi, pick up a gift, or a new top. The Left Bank has a very nice assortment of new, used, vintage, and handmade items. The prices are great and Jackie is so much fun to chat with. Expect to come in, get styled, have a great time, and leave really happy (all while getting a great value!).

The Left Bank is a serious gem. Its a family run business so you’ll always feel welcomed here, especially by Jacqueline who will go out of her way to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Clothes and accessories are organized by type into separate rooms making it very easy to navigate through the colorful shop. I especially appreciate the separated stand-​alone clothing racks where everything is easy to see and shift through as opposed to the overstuffed aisles that you usually see in vintage/​consignment stores. I’ve never left here without a new purchase; the prices are very reasonable and items are so diverse, you’re bound to find something of interest. Most of the clothing I’ve purchased has been between $ 5-​$ 18, all in excellent, almost new, condition. Its also worth noting that a portion of your purchase will be donated to a local charity. Jackie is awesome and so is her entire family, they run the shop Wednesday — Sunday, 11am — 6pm

This is just the place we need! Hiding in Atwater Village, just off the beaten retail path. I’ve been looking for a place to start turning in some of my vintage and designer clothes, without feeling abused (yes I’m looking at you owltalk and gift of garb) and found this place via Unilocal-​the other reviewers are right! Super nice, friendly, clean, a wide range of items, vintage and not so vintage, but with lots of style. I brought in Agnes B, Jimmy Choo, Diesel… classic with an edge, and they will feel right at home. I might end up re-​filling my closet… yes I’m thinking of you little silk jersey dress and Narciso Rodriguez jacket ($ 26!!). Anyway, you get what I mean. And yes-​the owners are super nice!!!

I really really like the vibe here, it’s such a fun good-​energy place with great vintage/​designer items! There are also modern items and a wonderful collection of gifty-​things and appealing/​varied-​style jewelry.
went in to consign something, I haven’t bought anything yet (waiting on a paycheck AND clearing out my apt. = not a good time to buy…) but I reaaaalllly wanted to buy a handful of items here and I felt like I could actually afford them, too, if I were to buy them. AND that I would be getting something valuable.
The organization is fantastic, yet easy going, just enough to be exciting but not overwhelming, 100% not stuck up, creative, friendly… really nice.
And the shoes/​dress/​mugs etc. that I was already coveting were all incredibly well priced. The owner was sweet and chatty, and she clearly makes the place what it is, I had fun talking with her and she gave me a little tour! Super cute. It feels like she’s curating things she enjoys and making a wonderful little «home», rather than trying to be trendy or bilk people out of their money for used stuff they don’t need. I feel like the items in this store are treated with respect and that makes shopping a really nice experience.
Places like this are rare; we all need a good community vibe! The store feels as approachable as her and that’s so nice!

This store is absolutely amazing!!! Definitely a hidden treasure to find a thrift store like this. It isn’t your average thrift store! Super clean and well priced, from vintage pieces to designer. Some are new with tags still! I’ve bought jewelry, clothing, hats, as well as stationary from here. My best advice is to just have fun and try things on, you never know what’s going to look amazing on you! Left Bank is my one stop shop! Did I mention this is a family run shop owned by the most fun family ever?!

Love this cute little thrift store– tucked away at the edge of atwater— I’ve been here three years and never knew about this gem! A MUST if you like vintage, recycled, up cycled and the like… great stock, friendly and helpful staff and… totally affordable!

This little boutique is quite a hidden gem! You might almost miss it driving by. It’s family run and Jackie (the daughter) was so lovely! The collection was well curated and everything was very reasonably priced — especially the vintage! I’m a vintage seller (on Etsy) myself and I found the vintage to be good quality and also good prices for personal shopping. I got a beautiful sweater cape for $ 28, and a few other items from $ 5-​$ 22 each. Awesome deals! Very cute place for a little weekend shopping.

This store is so amazing! So many gorgeous vintage finds and really great pricing. They also have some cute modern gifts like quirky greeting cards and handmade jewelry. The owner and her mom were there today and we’re so sweet and helpful. I was originally headed to the good will vintage sale down the street but that ended up a bit of a bust. So glad to have found this gem though. Also, a portion of their sales goes to charity which is fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend you check this store out if you like tasteful, unique, beautiful, or just plain good clothing for great prices.

So stoked that we came! It’s a mix between vintage and a little more modern handpicked clothing, accessories and some housewares. They also feature handmade items and new housewares and vintage housewares. The owner is super sweet and helpful. What had started out as looking for vintage furniture ended with me finding amazing clothing and jewelry here…

Sometimes, retail therapy can do wonders. I figured, if I know my limit is $ 100, I can go get one dress (maybe) from a store I like in a retail chain, or I can get a whole bag full of cool, interesting clothes and have a great conversation at The Left Bank. It’s the complete experience,
This place is a total find that is addictive. I first read about it in an international online travel blog. And if I have some free time and a little extra cash, I really enjoy taking my time in here and going through all the clothes, hats, bags and other items which are very much curated by the owners.

The Left Bank is SERIOUSLY my new favorite shop! From vintage to designer to contemporary this place has it all. And on top of that the prices are unbelievable. I always walk out of the shop with something… Whether it’s a new pair of sunnies, a hat, a purse, or an awesome vintage blouse.
Not only is the shop super cool, but the owners are AWESOME! Every time I go in they’re so welcoming.

This place is dangerous in the best way!
This shop is adorable, and the staff is always friendly (I may also be slightly biased because pretty much everyone who works here seems to be named Jackie or Jacqueline).
They sell a variety of vintage and second-​hand shoes and clothes, as well as records, books, art, jewelry, and trinkets — and everything is carefully selected and unique. It’s like my version of a Barbie dream closet or something, I swear.
There is this cute cork board up near the dressing room with photos of the owners from Paris — and you can see the inspiration and love these girls and their family put into the shop.
Today after my purchase (the mom) Jacqueline gave me a hug! SERIOUSLY! This place!

I love this store for great vintage buys. It has a great selection and good prices. I love how they separate the rooms in different selections from high vintage top brands to more every day brands. It is a cute little shop and owned by a great family. Also a percent of every purchase goes to a great cause. So you not only of recycling but supporting a good charity.
Everyone should go check this place out.

I had so much fun discovering and shopping at this little gem of a place! It’s a family-​run boutique /​thrift shop with such reasonable prices, it’s ridiculous! (I’m talking designer dresses in great condition for $ 20-​$ 30.)
Plus, it’s filled with such great charm! The owner greeted my boyfriend and I the minute we walked in and was incredibly warm and friendly. I wanted to buy everything just because she was so nice!
The owner says that they don’t advertise since they want as much money as possible to go to the charities they donate to… so word of mouth is key. Go visit this place if you can! I’m definitely going to make it a point to go more often when I have some extra cash to blow.

Let me tell you why I love this shop:
1. They have a large selection of 2^nd hand items that you can go through. From vintage dresses to more recent items like J Crew pea coats and Valentino dresses. I picked up a soft angora cardigan and some colorful silk Indian tunics.
2. They sell new items like nice smelling soaps and candles for gift giving. They also sell other gift giving items like children’s books, jewelery, coin purses, and decorative items for the home. The also have a section of USC paraphernalia, I’m guessing because the owners went to USC.
3. I’m not certain, but by the look of the large table next to the register (an I-​Pad), they have lots of gift bags and ribbon, so they probably gift wrap for free.
4. They donate to charity.
5. The sisters that run this joint are really nice and helpful.
6. It’s a local business, so support it!
7. There is street parking in front or on the cross street that is parallel to the Los Angeles River. If you are in the neighborhoods of Atwater Village or Silverlake, make sure to stop by.
