Great pizza and even better wings!

The Good Pizza is located in the middle of Westchester. Convenient pizza if you are ever in a bind. I’ve had good and not-​so-​good experiences here. Lots of the school kids and neighborhood kids hang out here, so it is always a bustling experience coming here.
I needed a quick meal for the kiddos and decided to get pizza. I called in my order 20 minutes before arriving. When I got there, they looked puzzled because they had forgotten to make my order. They asked me to wait 10 minutes. No problem. I went across the street to do grocery shopping at Vons and came back 15 minutes later. Still, I waited another 5 – 10 minutes for my order. Kinda frustrating.
The pizza was supposed to be ½ cheese and ½ pepperoni + mushrooms. The cheese section of the pizza was well prepared. The other half, not so. Mushrooms on only about ¼ of the pizza.
I’m chalking this up to experience. I’m glad to try this place again in the near future. I want to support neighborhood establishments!

Returned here after 5 years and still the same great food and great service!

Very expensive pizza and very rude customer service. They never told me the price of the pizza and only offered one size for us. An XL?! When I asked about this, the person who worked there was very rude to me. I usually support small businesses but they inspired me to go to Pizza Hut.

Ordered their Margarita pizza and BBQ Chicken topped with fries. Margarita was great with some fresh basil and gooey cheese. The BBQ Chicken with fries wasn’t as good as I hoped but still great for a party if for nothing more than the novelty.

Loooooooovvvvveee the pizza here! Finding a legit gluten free pizza is hard. This place has some of the best GF crust Ive had. The meatballs and sauce are out of this world!!! The staff is always really sweet and give prompt service. One thing I would not recommend here are the salads, theyve come out wilted everytime Ive ordered.

I was craving a EGG WHITE BURRITO with onions, tomatoes and mushrooms and I got a BURNT BROWN BURRITO which tasted like PACE SALSA BY THE JAR. It was Overpriced
about 15.00 wow!!! I don’t recommend the Breakfast Burrito but what I saw in the case front
of store looked better. please make your own burrito and avoid this HIGH PRICED ONE.
The staff I must say was very nice and pleasant.

Found the Good Pizza here on Unilocal as I was looking for some place quick, well rated and near our destination. This place is great. It’s a traditional counter-​style pizza place where you can order by the slice. I had never in my life before seen a pizza with French Fries on it so I had to go with the BBQ Chicken (it had chicken, bbq sauce, onions, tomato sauce, mozzarella and French Fries). My dining companion went with the pesto bianco. Each slice was huge. They had a deal — two slices and a drink combo, so we did that and split the canned soda. The pizza was great, came out quick, was hot. Mine was sort of «strangely delicious». The pesto one was just outright delicious. It was so good we talked about coming back even when we had no other business going on in the immediate vicinity. Thumbs up!

Food is good we love the breakfast burritos but not happy with the new staff it takes way too long to get food ordered 20 min ago and still waiting:(

Ok pizza, very very greasy and chewy. Not the best around at all. Box was soaked in grease. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from again.

We got takeout for dinner from their Westchester location. The wait was about 30 – 40 minutes. We ordered the Capricciosa pizza (artichoke hearts), mozzarella sticks, and The Good Pizza Hot Wings.
The pizza was really big, enough for 3 or 4 people. It was a little too salty but very tasty!
The mozzarella sticks were very fresh and go well with their marinara sauce.
The hot wings were a bit dry but good overall.
The total came to almost 40 $. Would come back!

The good pizza is definitely good, but not great. I appreciate that they know who they are and are okay with that. Enjoyed their pesto pizza a lot. Also enjoyed the pepperoni.

A hidden gem! We are super happy! We placed an order for a specific delivery time and it arrived timely. We ordered the meat lovers and vegetarian pizza for a party of 5. Separately i had ordered the Insalata Elena for myself and it was delicious and a great accompaniment to a slice of each. Delicious combo. My hubby and i shared the sicilian cannoli and we are hooked! My only pick was that i did ask for service for 5 people. We received 2 forks. Luckily we had plates! Not a deal breaker for us and we will order again in the future.

Cool little local pizza place, that serves breakfast burritos! They also serve soft serve ice cream. An interesting mix of food and beverages. I dig this place.

Great local pizza place. We walk over there for soft serve ice cream and pizza. For breakfast they have really good breakfast burritos and quesadillas made out of pizza dough.
The owner and employees are very nice to my kids.

Went solely based on other Unilocal reviews. Didn’t disappoint, but we didn’t end up eating at all what we’d planned. Went before a water polo game at LMU. It was early for lunch but timing with the game forced us to go at 11:00.
As we were getting close, hubby thought it was going to be a bad idea. Didn’t care for the location & wanted to go elsewhere. Luckily there was a crowd there so he agreed to try it. Turned out no pizzas were out but people were ordering breakfast. So we checked out that menu. Ended up with two breakfast burritos. Came with a side salad. Hot & iced teas were both delicious as was all of the food. Girls working were friendly and clearly knew their regulars. If we’re ever out this way again we’ll be back to try that pizza!

Picked up a pepperoni pizza today for the first time, can’t believe I hadn’t tried this place before as we live down the street. The pizza is pretty tasty, especially the crust. Super chewy and has a lot of flavor, does not just taste like plain unflavored dough. My 2 year old gobbled up an entire slice in less than 5 minutes! I know all kids love pizza but I have never seen him eat a huge slice this fast. Will definitely return.

*Update* My original one star review has been bumped to a two because one of The Good Pizza employees stopped by my home to drop off a full cash refund.
Note to staff: I appreciate your attempt to make amends, however I still cannot conceivably rate your restaurant any higher after receiving a salad that was not at all fitting of the menu’s description. It’s not OK to just send what you have on-​hand. Thank you for doing the right thing and returning my money. I may just consider giving your restaurant another try in the future and re-​updating my review. After all, your homemade chicken ravioli is mighty tasty.

I must now starve for the rest of the day or perhaps the rest of my life because of this nasty frigg’n unforgiving eatery. In one fell swoop they have managed to taint my ability to ever trust restaurant food again. Ever. Again.
Feast your eyes on the photos I provided and prepare to gobble up all that poop vein goodness! Doesn’t that look delicious?! And to think that when I called and sympathetically voiced my grievance, I was shot down with a condescending, «We never devein the shrimp unless upon request, so there will be no refund or remaking of the dish.» Yikes, shrimp nazi! Couldn’t you just make note of this on your menu then?! I mean, I get that there’s no law prohibiting the sale of «sand-​sacked» shrimp, but I do however expect the common courtesy.
And what about my tricolore salad that was supposed to come with only arugula, radicchio, and butter lettuce (hence the word: tricolore)? How does that turn into field greens with romaine and no arugula or butter lettuce in sight? *Enter salad photo* Just look at that single piece of radicchio I received. Let me tell ya, there is nothing like unexpectedly biting into that radish-​like root. Ugh and super sigh :(

Picked up 2 pizzas to go: the meat lovers pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza.
I was a little disappointed, because I have heard SUCH great things about this place and have been really excited about going.
The pizza is thin-​crusted, New York style. They only serve 1 size –18″.

Give it a 4. I’ve never had meatballs on my pizza, and it was good good good.
The BBQ chicken was problematic. I would give it a 2. This is the one that everyone raves about on Unilocal reviews, so I thought I would try it. Usually I loooove French fries on things (sandwiches, burritos), but this did NOT work for me at all. The fries were soggy! And it’s not that some were soggy and some weren’t. All were soggy. Not my kind of deal. I would have preferred it either with crunchy French fries or without any at all.
And the other reason this place gets the 3 is because of the price! 50 $ is expensive for two pizzas! Eek.
To be honest, it’s slightly cheaper than CPK, and CPK is way better, and Dominoes and papa johns is way cheaper, so I will be getting my pizza somewhere else.
