The Eleanor Apartments

This is the most beautiful apartment I have ever lived in. The art deco décor, historical 1920 building, exposed brick walls inside the apartment unit, all new appliances, quietest ac\heater unit, convenient laundry room, arcade machine, cable tv downstairs, bike racks, gorgeous patio.. the list goes on and on.
Such a beautiful building with equally beautiful fixtures throughout the apartment, the sunblast light fixture in the foyer, charming mailbox — all beautifully decorated. Purposeful artwork hanging throughout the hallways adds a great ambiance to the apartment building — some artworks are art deco while others are historical facts about DTLA and surrounding neighborhoods.
They did a beautiful job with picking all the details from bathroom sink, knobs, door handles, stairs, and kitchen counter tops — to name a few — in the unit and throughout the entire building. The best part for me … the MULTIPLE ELECTRIC OUTLETS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE STUDIO APARTMENT! So, many outlets!!! WE Love this!!!
Many OLD dtla apartments have limited outlets, which sucks!!! Extension cords and power strips … fire hazards!!! THE ELEANOR APARTMENTS HAVE AN OUTLET everywhere. Its amazing!!! 10 outlets!!! Im a studio!!!
The neighborhood and tenants are super quiet. I never hear my neighbors next door and downstairs. I don’t even hear footsteps in the hallway. I have zero noise complaints.
Super close to the metro system which is 1 stop away from either ktown and DTLA/​fig @ 7^th — depending on if you’re taking purple or red line. Also, convenient that the metro takes you to Union Station, Grand Central Market, Little Tokyo, NoHo, if you transfer to expo line then you can go to West LA. So much fun!
i love how i can buy food truck taco at 3am, elote on my way back from work, go to swap meet to replace my watch battery for $ 5, giant avocados for $ 1 at the local market called Laguna Market, everything is so close to this apartment — i love walking to get chinese food on alvarado, Langers, Annie’s Bakery, street food, supporting local businesses. Everything is literally 5 minute walk or 1 – 2 stop train ride to all the fabulous DTLA eateries. This apartment is great location! Quiet and away from DTLA but close enough for cheap über, cheap metro, or just walk to DTLA (about brisk 30 minute walk). Über is never more than $ 5 to/​from dtla and surrounding areas (ktown for me).
There is security on premise from evening to early morning, security cameras, and a heavy front door that requires security code. I always feel safe.
Yes, parking is limited due to construction next, next door.
However, for peace of mind — i highly recommend buying a $ 25 7-​day pass at St Vincent Hospital, which is literally across the street. You have in and out privileges or you can leave your car there for the full 7 days. You can also get a 3 day pass for $ 15. Either one is great option. Considering there is hospital security and you will always find a parking spot and you don’t need to move your car on street sweeping days. $ 25 a week is not bad at all! Most DTLA apartments charge $ 50/​week or $ 25/​day, believe me I know.
I did have one maintenance request and it was a breeze. Leaky bathroom sink … submitted maintenance online, got an instant email confirmation from property management, and they let me know EXACTLT when to expect repair. Fixed within 24 hours.
What i love about this property, management, and community is that there is absolute premium quality control. Management truly wants us to feel at home and the exquisite details they put into the property is a well representation of how they treat the tenants — utmost respect, high quality, professionalism, excellent satisfaction and hospitality.
To be one of the first tenants in a newly renovated apartment is an amazing feeling and super exciting.
You’re not gonna find a better management with beautiful apartment as well as The Eleanor. This is such a huge sigh of relief and so thankful to be able to live in this community. I LOVE living here.
[I came from a non-​smoking apt building and there were 3 tenants that smoked cigs in the hallway with multiple complaints and never resolved; another apartment that gave me respiratory problems from cheap carpet; another apartment with tenant upstair that seemed to always use power tools at 2−3am never resolved; previous apartment with multiple maintenance requests that was only resolved after 6 weeks of multiple weekly complaints: entire (floor to ceiling) window blinds fell off, kitchen sink drawers fell apart in wood chips, fridge stopped working, and neighbor’s car wheels got stolen and another neighbor’s car got broken into]

This is probably my favorite apartment in LA. If you’re going to live in LA, this is the place to live. The area is safe, and around so many places to eat and shop! The property manager is very helpful and kind! The rooms are spacious and very clean! I love the wood floors and brick wall the most.

Right next to the Medical Center. Less then 3 minutes from the 101. This building is incredible.
Beautiful newly renovated apartments. Incredible kitchens. Awesome neighbors and a top notch management company made this the #1 Choice for me.
The laundry room has plenty of brand new side load, all white credit/​debt card operated washer and dryers with a laundry fold table as well as a flat screen TV with full cable channels so you can watch whatever you want (I prefer the NFL or Sports Center) while you wait for your cloths if you want. They also have free wi/​fi in the laundry room which is right next to the computer room/​Business center with a community desktop and printer.
The elevator is sick. It’s an old school throw back sliding gate door that’s super sexy and gives the the building character. Everything in the building is new including all of its tenants being that they’ve only been renting for a few months.
No pets which to me is great even though I love animals but I hate having to deal with an out of control barking dog. Non of that here.
All and all the building is a beast and the apartments are new and super sexy. The only drawback here is parking. They’re building a new complex next door so part of the road is blocked off from 6am to 6pm but once they finish that up all should be good.
The location, the price, the actual building itself and the people here are all 5 star top notch.

I just moved in a week ago and I really love this building and the residents are professional and quiet. The building is completely remodeled and every unit is absolutely beautiful. The studios give more then enough space to live comfortably. I can honestly say for the price of $ 1400 a month in Los Angeles you get more then your money’s worth living here. Also Angelica the property manager is very hands-​on and takes very good pride in her work and that was an added bonus to live here. It seems that she cares about everyone of her residence.

My boyfriend and I just moved here from NYC, and as soon as we viewed The Eleanor, we knew we had to live here. Our studio is so beautiful, and it truly has everything we were looking for! From the brand new stainless steel appliances to the wonderful walk-​in closet, we absolutely love it all.
Angelica, the manager, has been super helpful! Being that we moved across the country, we had so many questions but she has been absolutely patient, and we are so appreciative! We would definitely recommend The Eleanor to all those looking to live near downtown!

The new renovated apartments in Downtown LA located in a pretty clean & safe downtown neighborhood.
Moved here just a month ago and already love it so much.
It is a fancy building with everything that I wanted from an apartment. It is aesthetically very pleasing. I am feeling safe here with coded door to enter, security cameras and door man in late hours.
If you like modern/​elegant/​clean look, you will be very pleased with the interior, too. Overall feel from the property is warn, modern, and bright.
Each apartment is equipped with totally new steel appliances and air conditioning system.
Angelica, apartment manager helps me each time I have questions. I cannot stress how professional, patient and informative she is.
I totally recommend this place. It is really worth of 5 stars.

This place is great! I looked at it while apartment-​hunting and liked how it was newly renovated– all appliances and the carpet were new, and the space is pretty good. Great prices as well, and the manager was very professional and polite.

Trying to find a place to live in LA was such a hassle but I’m so happy I came across this apartment. This place is fully renovated, everything brand new! I just moved in and fell in love with the lay out! They have stainless steel appliances, the New York style brick wall, depending what unit you choose and convenient laundry room downstairs with a lounge, arcade and TV so you’re comfortable while you wait. Not to mention their washer/​dryer accepts debit/​credit. Awesome! Moving to LA was a big transition for me, especially the weather since I’m from the Bay Area. Finding a place with air conditioning was complicated but this apartment has it all, it’s literally in the middle of everything. The manager Angelica is really nice and made my moving in process very easy. Paying rent is hassle free, I use their automatic payment method so I don’t ever have to worry about paying late. I feel very safe living here because they have a coded door to enter, a door man during late hours and security cameras. This place is 5 stars, definitely a place to stay!

I couldn’t be happier that I chose The Eleanor. I was searching for a studio near the downtown area and knew I had to live here the moment I saw it. The building is completely renovated with great amenities (Brand new laundry facilities that take credit cards, lounge area for when you’re doing laundry, and a computer area). The Eleanor provides full kitchens in all units with all new appliances, air condition, and great closet space-​very hard to find! This building is perfect if you’re looking to stay near Downtown, but live without the city noise. The security guard is friendly and helps keep a safe environment for the tenants. The manager is extremely kind-​she listens to her tenants and what they want and provides the best accommodations for them. I’ve been at the Eleanor for less than a month, but can already tell you that this will be a long term stay!

I am new to LA and finding a great apartment was tough until I found The Eleanor Apartments. I now live here and can honestly say I love it. It is quiet, clean and has security at night. The manager, Angelica, is nice, kind and caring — very rare to find in the city. The apartments are as close to brand new as it gets because no one has lived here in 5 years and they remodeled everything head to toe.
It’s so I new I was one of the first group of people to move in and now are seeing tenants moving in that are also nice and kind.
They also have a/​c in every unit and a laundry facility that takes cards! :)
