The Check Cashing Place

I became a regular customer at City Check Cashers several years ago because I wanted to support a local business, and it was also convenient to my apartment. However after being treated so rudely by Jason and his staff, I will never, ever patronize this business again. Recently, I started working for a new company and I called Jason the owner of City Check Cashers and I asked if my company could send the overnight package with my weekly check to City Check Cashers each Saturday morning, with the understanding that I would of course continue to cash my check there each week. When the package got lost and didn’t come until 3 days later, Jason acted like I was some how engaging in fraud and he had the nerve to tell me that they were not going to cash my checks anymore. Imagine that, after 10 + years of doing business with them they no longer wanted my business. I have since found a much larger company that is open 24 hr’s that now handles my weekly check cashing needs, and the good news is I pay less money. AVOID CITY CHECK CASHERS AT ALL COSTS! JASON IS A RUDE UNGRATEFUL, LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER WHO TREATS HIS LOYAL CUSTOMERS LIKE SCUM!!!

The customer service can be good when the lines aren’t long. It’s get packed mostly on the first few days of the month when people go to buy money orders, bus passes, and cash checks. This place is pretty small, but convenient.
