Awesome! Awesome! Awesome show! Tastefully and elegantly done! MC was lively and got the crowd going! Found tickets on Goldstar for half the price, but even if I paid full price I wouldn’t have been disappointed! (Be care with Goldstar though as I purchased front row seating and later was told that it would be 2 – 3 rows back). Donna — the producer was the first and last dance act — she was amazing!!! It felt like people that arrived earlier got the seats away from the cat walk vs. those that arrived late got closest to the stage. Must see!

There are three criteria for mandatory drink purchases. $ 18, $ 24 and 30+. They accept credit. I suggest pay $ 18 and add $ 3 at the bar for each well drinks or cocktails.

Donna produces a fabulous show that’s deserves much recognition! Amazing routines filled with art, class, laughter and dance :) thanks for making my husbands birthday a night to remember!!!

AMAZING! Great for date night, girls night or a group of friends. Costumes and performers were amazing. Only complaint is that we paid extra for VIP and no one came to our table to take our drink order… not once! Believe it or not our fav performance happen to bet the only male performance. The guy was hilarious with the song and moves. We were literally crying from laughing. Definitely think he should do two performances in the show. Do not hesitate to buy tickets!

Still thinking about the show that I saw weeks ago. Great for a large group on the balcony or lovely for a couple to get a table and have dinner near the stage. The performers are a total turn on. The venue was stunning. I felt like I went back in time. Damn good show!!!

Truly excellent shows, beautiful costumes and lovely ladies! If you want to see a really good burlesque act in L.A., I would recommend this one. I myself attempted to join this show quite some time ago, I have performed as a burlesque dancer and still do from time to time. But I didn’t have exactly what they were looking for here, but I’m not bitter or angry about it. If I didn’t have what it took to be in this, I didn’t have what it took to be in this, and I don’t want to be the one responsible for bringing it down in any way.
The food and drinks here are great, and this is a higher quality burlesque show than what you typically find in L.A. Make sure that you reserve well in advance.

If you’re looking to catch a burlesque show in downtown – this is it. All the performances bring their own energy and style and the production value is extremely well adapted to this renovated, historic venue. I was lounging in the mezzanine, but I’d imagine that the floor seats let you feel extremely connected to the performers. It’s a must see for anyone seeking a classy affair in the heart of Los Angeles.

An incredible show. I had never seen burlesque in person until Donna’s show and it by far exceeded my expectations. Her energy and the energy of the other performers is incredible. You really feel like you’re in another time. It was especially awesome at the Globe Theater with great lighting. Love the performance and highly recommend to anyone.

I attended the Valentine’s day showing of «TEASE, if you please!», and had a blast! I had a standing room ticket on the mezzanine level. The mezzanine level is beautiful. It’s lined with chandeliers, couches against the back wall, and a bar ! It felt like a party! Since it’s standing room you have more freedom to walk around, and chat and hang with friends. Looking down below I could see all of the table seating, and it looked very romantic with roses and candles on each table.
The performers were so talented! You can tell that they put in a lot of time and effort in to each number, and all of the costuming. This show is the most professional burlesque show I’ve ever seen from start to finish. I was lucky enough meet the Producer (Donna Hood) after the show was over. She went around to almost every table to take pictures, and ask guests about their experience. Smart business woman, and extremely talented performer.
I will defiantly be retuning to another show, and hopefully get a table next time. It sells out quick so my best tip would be to reserve early!

Saw the show this past Saturday night
It was a great show, performers were very classy and entertaining. This is something so different and fun to do a Saturday night in LA. Show is a must see!

Thanks to Unilocal I found the petfect place to go to. My partner and I went to see the show over the weekend for Valentine’s Day called Tease If You Please!! and I must say for our first time seeing burlesque show we had an awesome time, from beginning to end. The performers we very sexy and entertaining even the guy had the ladies whistling for him good choice to have him perform. Very comical.
The food was great we had mashed potatoes (I didn’t really care for) there was roast beef, rice salad a biscuit macaroni and cheese which was delicious expecially that roast beef. The host was a little corny with some of his jokes I just hope next year he will come up wit something better.
I recommend this show to everyone! Oh and by the way parking was right next door from the theater 2 thumbs up for that. Thanks again for a wonderful night. We can’t wait to attend another show.

TEASE, if you please! Creative, seductive, classy and sexy. Saw this show last night and I was very impressed. The ladies, costumes and props were beautiful. Ms. Donna Hood put on a brilliant show. Her Donnie Darco with a twist of ballet performance was my favorite. The show is in the back of Au Luc restaurant, very small, smokey and intimate.
Loved every minute of the show. It was very nice meeting Ms. Donna Hood at the end of the show. Would definitely come back since every show is different. IT’S A MUST SEE!

Visited for my first time last weekend. What an amazing show. The acts were so creative! I can’t wait to go again.

A pleasant surprise purchased for me by my husband for a date night. Fantastic show. Amazing drinks. I was blown away. Classy and Sassy! We are already planning on returning with friends to share this amazing gem of a place.

This is such a fun place… Like super fun.
Once you get to the back of Au Lac, it’s like you are transported to another era. It’s dark and smoky but so plush and so secret. Oh so naughty!
The MC the night that I was there was a bit on the cheesy side, but the ladies working the stage were outstanding! Beautiful and talented and so so sexy! I’m kind of Jealous of Annette T getting a butt grind session at her show, but that’s okay… I can come back and try my luck again.

My first burlesque show and it was totally worth it! Wow these women know how to put on a show and tease! Sexy, funny, classy. What more can you ask for! I’ll be going back with more people For Sure! Donna keep doing whatever it is you’re doing!

I had soooooo much fun!!! I would come here again! the girls were amazing!!! our server was the bomb also!!! I didn’t get her name but she was such a sweetheart, long blonde hair Barbie face! I hope she reads this!!! can’t wait to visit you guys again!!!

This was a fun event in downtown LA. The comic was very funny and was definitely a great part of the show. This was a good way to start our night on the town in LA. I would recommend to anyone looking for something outside of the box or just a girls night out. A really fun show!

Our favorite performance was Rhonda but all of the ladies were great too my friends enjoyed it.

It was my first burlesque show and I loved it! It’s small and very intimate which is a plus. The burlesque dancers are all beautiful and sexy gals. Each of the dancers have a different theme which makes it even more fun. At the end of the show we got lucky and got a hug from the lovely MissDonnaHood. I’ll definitely be going back and will be bringing some more friends to the show. I totally recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

WOW! This show is incredible! Heard about Tease if you please from a friend and decided to check it out on Friday night with a few friends. We were all blown away by the caliber, humor, and classiness of all of the performers.
I have only seen a handful of burlesque shows, but this was definitely the most entertaining one I know of. I definitely plan on returning here soon! Buy presale tickets and show up early because I hear it sells out frequently.

I’m usually not an individual that seek out shows/​venues like this, but a friend thought it would be fun to have her birthday celebration here.
The show was actually full of talent and more classy than anything else.
Crowd was about 30 – 40 people and everyone really had a good time /​behaved themselves.
2 drink minimum, parking is 10 $ downstairs.
Worth coming with a group of friends!

Possibly one of LA’s best kept secrets is «TEASE, if you please!” – a burlesque show that’s held inside First & Hope’s bar where they blend the 1900’s and modern day music together for an enjoyable event!
For $ 30, you’ll spend a short evening with talented and gorgeous ladies who are amazing at their craft. Their dance performances are funny, sensual, sexy and will take you for an emotional ride. Held in a small room that can likely only seat less than 40 people, the interactive show is one where each dancer takes on a sassy personality. Be mindful that they could sit on you, play with your hair, and even slap you! – playfully, of course.
The tables that you’re seated at are actually stages for the ladies so you’re guaranteed to get an up, close, and personal show. They even hang onto bars that are placed in the ceilings and will swing every which way!
There is a two drink minimum for each table, but drinks are very cheap considering you’re in LA. For our group of ten people, the bill was only about $ 110 – and each person had more than one drink. To appease designated drivers and non alcoholic drinkers, soda and water are served too.

Conclusion: 4.5 Stars! I wouldn’t recommend the show for people who are claustrophobic because the room is tiny and seats are crammed together. However, everyone else should come check it out! The show begins at 9:30 and lasts for about 2 hours. Come early to pick a seat. The girls perform at the front AND back of the room so I recommend sitting on the side of the walls because they’re most comfortable and you’ll be able to see the entire show. If you sat in the front like me, you’ll be forced to turn around many times which can be bothersome. Despite that, I’d definitely come back to watch again!
