Don’t let the exterior fool you. If you want authentic homestyle Salvadorian food, this place is the jam. Usually two wonderful old ladies cookin it up proper. The Paupusas are perfection. Need to venture out and try some of the other things on the menu.

If you want to get real and authentic Salvadorian food this is the place. The pupusas remind me of my home county. Service was excellent. Try pupusas revueltas,(cheese, beans and pork) the best. I eat here at least once a week.

Love it. The food is too bomb. I will definitely be coming back especially when my gf tries them. She’s gonna being sending me back.

Stopped by while getting my car fixed a block away. Lady was nice. Pupusas were delicious. Really cheesy and the beef was seasoned nicely. The loroco pupusas were fragrant and savory. She takes her time but the food was perfectly fried.

Some of the best popusas’! And super cheap if you buy before 11am! Like $ 1.00 -$ 1.75… I love their mixed salad drink! There’s a parking lot, but sometimes it does get busy! You can also call your order in ahead of time ;) –the guy working there is really nice and friendly! And trust me, he will remember your face! Haha! There’s a small tv in the corner and they also have outside seating ;) CHECKITOUT! It’s a good cheap place for popusas!

Incredibly good! I had a cheese pupusa and a cheese and loroco pupusa. Both were to die for. I am very surprised. I didn’t expect this small hole in the wall to have such amazing food. I am so glad that I work a couple of miles away — I will be going there for lunch more often.

You know when you can find a hole in the wall that’s really good, clean, friendly, AND takes credit cards including Amex and it’s just the best thing ever? This is it! Though in a weird area of ktown, they make delicious and authentic pupusas as well as other food. Really affordable and they staff there is amazing friendly and honest. Food does take a while to be made so if you are looking for a quick bite to go, it’s better to call a head.

The place really feels like a fun and caring place the first time I went they seemed casual and laid back. It was a small place indeed but it wasn’t so bad at all. I like their wide selection and low prices of food. It’s one of the closest places to get some natural mexican food where I live and though in reality I only went there for a burger and they were so delicious. It was great to because I got two chicken burgers, with a side of fries and a coca cola for only 5.50 $ I was surprised and so happy to see how cheap it was! the burgers were so delicious too and big so I felt happy that it came out so cheap and still was a filling meal. I’m happy i gave it a chance and went to eat there I hope people give this place a chance. Especially considering how good this places food is with such a cheap price! Totally coming back again and showing it to my friends who love places like this. Though be warned that the seating is very scarce so it doesn’t really help bringing a huge party to eat there, but that doesn’t change the fact that the food is good

It’s a mom and pop place but the Pupusas are the best! Everything there is sooo good. The staff is friendly and fast. If you are in the mood for pupusas you need to come to this place. You will not be disappointed.

We wanted burritos so we stopped at El Savoy. but they ran out of tortillas! :O so we went with their pupusas($ 1.65 + tax each). Cheese and bean ? and cheese and beef ? , or at least we were told that’s what it was. the cheese and bean one — no bean? didn’t taste it. or see it. the cheese and beef one — no cheese? didn’t taste it. or see it. lol. It took them about 20 – 25 minutes to make 4 pupusas. there was only one party before us. and the guy who came after us got his burger first. The pupusas were actually pretty good. they made it to order. but really. it took too long for the food to come out –_–
