How can you beat a late night drunkie meal? By adding premium quality bacon and a great conversion. The tacos asada and the bacon wrapped LA dog are to die for. People are walking by with envy. The smell itself is dragging people to them. If you want some delicious late grabs grub and you are lucky enough to be in their vicinity, get a bite from Tacos & Tamales. So simply yet so great.

Last night after leaving The Mint, I happened upon this little street taco stand. It looks like they are connect with The Zoo, a funky retail shop next door to The Mint and the Psychic place. In addition to the usual tacos, they offered tamales (including spinach+pinenuts, black bean, and cheese+chile) and double bacon wrapped hotdogs! These suckers were ginormous Hoffy beef torpedos! I garnished mine with taco toppings. Great way to satisfy the late night munchies! :)
