Sushma Bhadauria, MD

Dr. Bhadauria cared for me during my pregnancy and delivered my daughter. Dr. Bhadauria is incredibly compassionate, patient, gentle, sensitive, and attentive. I never felt rushed during my visits. She took her time to answer all my questions/​concerns and explored all options. During my third trimester I had a few scares and she always made time to fit me for a visit. She was also very accessible by phone during after hours. While in the hospital recovering (after the birth of my daughter) she came to check in on me each day and often phoned in the evening. I highly recommend Dr. Bhadauria as OB and prenatal care!

Be careful of this OB-​GYN and her staff. We are being billed for a «Fertility» visit, which our insurance doesn’t cover, when all we came for was a regular OB-​GYN check-​up.
I called to make an appointment with Dr. Bhadauria after a recommendation by another doctor, they asked me if I was pregnant, I said no, but me and my husband are planning to have a second baby. I said I haven’t seen an OB since my son was born and would like to get a check up. The receptionist declared that it would be a «Pre-​conception» check up. I didn’t think much of it because it just so happenned we are planning for a second baby, but my main goal was to get a regular OB check up not to get «other Procreative Management Counseling and Advice», which is what they billed the check-​up as. They never mentioned we were going in for counseling, and I never said I needed pre-​conception counseling. Again, I just wanted to get a regular OB check-​up.
I came in for a Sept. 11 appointment, and during the check-​up Dr. Bhadauria asked me about my health and lifestyle and towards the end she recommended an increase in Folic Acid and to use an ovulation kit.
Apparently they consider this check-​up as a fertility counseling check up, which was not what I asked for.
Now after the visit we are getting a full bill that our Health Insurance won’t cover due to the clinic classifying our visit as a «Fertility» visit.
We have contested the medical billing stating that we were under the impression that I was getting a regular OB-​GYN check up, but this clinic won’t budge. I feel like I was misled the whole way. So far they have stated that they will not change the billing code and all our attempts at talking to Dr. Bhadauria personally have been futile.

Dr Bhadauria is very kind and knowledgeable. She explained everything clearly including all the options for my condition and respect my decision about what l want to do. I’m so glad and happy having her as my OB doctor.

Unbelievably unprofessional. I booked my appt with this doctor for first thing in the morning so that I wouldn’t have to miss work. Ultimately, both the receptionist and the doctor were 30 minutes late to work, which made me late. My appt itself was very cursory. So I found a new doctor.
Subsequently I have received multiple harassing bills claiming I never paid my co pay and that my account is delinquent (I totally paid the bill as soon as I received it the first time). Bhadauria’s billing office won’t stop sending these bills amd Bhadauria’s office won’t even return my phone calls when I call to complain about the inaccurate bills. I’m afraid I’m going to end up being sent to collections for a bill I fully paid months ago.
Add to this, Bhadauria in my new dr.‘s call group and a couple weekends ago, she flat out refused to speak to me when it was her turn to be the doctor on call. I was told by the operator that in Bhadauria’s opinion, my being sick while pregnant on a weekend does not merit speaking with the dr. on call. So that sucks.
I don’t know why anyone would put up with this woman as their doctor.

Great experience. Finally someone I can go to in la that you can get an appt at, is friendly and knows what they are talking about. I will definitely be going back. I found her on Unilocal so the reviews are right she is easy to talk to and the office is great

Dr Bhadauria helped us deliver our second baby and the whole process was pleasant and stress free because of her. She is one of the most knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient doctors I have seen. Her bedside manners are impeccable and she is very prompt with her responses to any queries over phone or mail. Being a worry wart I was relaxed knowing she was always around to put my mind to ease. Would recommend her any day!

After an awful experience with the birth of my first child (with a different obgyn), I was very picky in choosing an obgyn for my 2^nd pregnancy. After asking around for recommendations and researching obgyns online, I found Dr Bhadauria.
After an initial meet & greet, I knew she was the obgyn I was looking for. The one that would take good care of me and treat me with patience and respect. I also initially planned on hiring a doula to protect me from «intervention-​happy» doctors in the delivery room. But after meeting Dr B, I knew that no doula was necessary, as I completely trusted her.
At prenatal care appointments, I never had to wait long to be seen. Dr B took her time explaining everything to me and made sure all my questions have been answered. I never once felt like our appointments were rushed. As I neared my due date, Dr B reminded me to not hesitate to call her at any time of day (and night!). Now that’s dedication. When I quickly went into labor on a late Tuesday night, Dr. B was there at the hospital with a smile on her face. Dr B calmly delivered my baby and was able to do so with zero tearing! Dr B is a pro. She also stayed around after the delivery to make sure everything was Ok, and also personally checked in on me the following day. All things my former obgyn did not do for me.
Dr B is the best.
You are in good hands with her.
Her office looks new, clean, and her staff is great. I always found street parking and never once paid for parking.

Dr. Bhadauria works with passion and gives her outmost concern to her patients. She listens to your needs and does her best to give the most appropriate treatment and at the same time ensuring that you are comfortable and well informed of your health conditions. She makes herself reachable almost ²⁴⁄₇ to ensure you and your baby’s well being are given the best and optimum care!
Definitely an excellent OBGYN most especially to first time mothers and women who are experiencing some challenges in their pregnancy.

Dr. Bhaduaria is absolutely the best doctor I have experienced. She is calm, caring understanding and most of all patient. Throughout my entire pregnancy and post pregnancy she took the time to patiently answer all of my questions, concerns and worries with her calm nature and wonderful personality — she looks out for you as a person/​patient and is truly genuine. I am so appreciative to have had Dr. Bhadauria’s care and responsiveness throughout my pregnancy and beyond and would highly recommend her to anyone in the Los Angeles are.

Dr. Bhadauria is BY FAR the best doctor I have encountered in my life, not only in her field, but in general. She has been my OBGYN for years, and delivered our baby girl a year ago. Her patience, kindness, intellect, and responsiveness makes you feel like there are still doctors in this profession that sincerely care about their patients and don’t just clock in and out. I am super picky about choosing doctors and when I met with Dr. Bhadauria I was simply impressed. She is always prompt about returning phone calls and makes you feel understood and cared for. Her professionalism is beyond me and she answers all of your concerns. My maternity experience with her was amazing and I will be staying a loyal patient for many many years to come :) Hands down, best doctor Ive encountered.

If I could give Dr. Bhadauria 10 stars I would. Sadly, my insurance was changed to Kaiser through my work, and I really miss Dr. Bhadauria’s practice, that I have come in and paid out of pocket. I have never met a doctor with such good bedside manner as that of Dr. B. She is patient, dedicated, and polite, and her assistant Danielle is a doll.
I usually have a bunch of questions, and she has always taken her time with me. She has never made me feel hurried or weird for asking silly questions. All my exams were thoroughly explained so that I knew why we were doing what. So what I am trying to say, is that she doesn’t just treat you like a patient, but like a person or a dear friend.
Dr. Bhadauria, if you see this, I just wanted to say thank you for everything, you are truly the best in your field!

Love Dr. Bhadauria. After being misguided by my prev OBG who scared me for no reason during my initial pregnancy days, I was looking for an OBG who I could trust. Found good reviews about Dr. Bhadauria online and went to her. The staff accommodated me even though they had a busy schedule. I thank that day. She makes me feel very comfortable. No dramas, she never suggests unnecessary tests or meds. And she is always ready to answer any questions you have. Her staff, esp. Dannielle, is very friendly. I don’t think I would look for another OBG now.

I absolutely love Dr. Bhadauria. She delivered my first born and she will be delivering my second. She takes her time and explains everything to you. She is very professional and friendly. Staff is great super nice. Office is always clean and the wait is super short. Wouldn’t change her for any other doctor. 5 stars to her! She makes you feel like family :) my family and I feel bless to have her as part of our family.

I just called to find out about coverage. The receptionist’s immediate response was NO and then hung up. Not a good way to get a referral or new patient.

Dr. Bhadauria is simply the best. I was concerned about a personal emergency so I scrambled to find a gynecologist in my area because I very recently moved to LA. She was the only person (and I called over 20 gynecologists) to not only agree to see me that day, but right then when I called! She heard the concern in my voice and even though I was a brand new customer, two hours later I was sitting in the doctors office kindly being informed that I was just fine and didn’t need to worry. She is the best. Go to this doctor she is truly an angel!

Best ob at Cedars: GONE! Can’t say enough great things about this genuine doc. She’s independent now, just steps away from Cedars n she will continue her affiliation with the hospital. Kind: yep. Responsive off-​hours: yep. Knowledgable: yep. Comprehensive: yep. Awesome bed side manners: yep.

First time visiting Dr. Bhadauria and it was a great first experience. Staff was very nice and I felt like Dr. Bhadauria spent a lot more time with me than most doctors do.
She was very sweet and very easy to talk to. I am so happy I found an honest Dr. that doesn’t it cut it short and tell you to take a ton of medicine you don’t need. I would definitely recommend her to anyone:)

THis was the nicest experience ever ever had at the gyno. I usually dread going like most women. Dr. Bhadauria took her time listening and was super gentle. she was very informative and helpful. I am so glad i found her!
