South Pasadena, CA
Just opened in September, the third record store in the Highland Park area. Mostly used records with an impressive stock covering hip-​hop, soul, rock, jazz, Latin, etc. Both cheap common records and rare, select items as well. A few local L.A. DJs are moving their collections through right now, including Coleman (Mochilla). They also have a small performance area; Chicano Batman put on a show there in mid-​October. Hope these guys stay around — their stock is more soul/​hip-​hop/​Latin friendly than any other store in the area.
