There are realtors, and then there is Steve Nemeth. Having worked with him on both buying and selling, we cannot imagine ever again buying or selling a home without him. Steve is the best! He is honest, professional, knowledgeable, patient, and tireless. And — he’s a really nice guy! He helped us buy a home in Encino about 6 years ago and also gave us advice on how to rent our condo in Hollywood. Things moved along quickly, but we never felt rushed. When we went into escrow, Steve’s already critical organizational skills really kicked in. He kept us on track step by step, contingency by contingency. Everything went so smoothly, it even made me a little nervous at times. Originally, we had only planned to have Steve handle the listing, and find an agent for the next house who specialized in the neighborhoods we were interested in. But the experience selling through Steve was so good, we decided to have him help us with the next purchase too. Looking and buying was a lot more involved, but Steve’s excellent service continued in the same way… excellent research, organized, devoted to our interests. With the help of the internet, it’s not that difficult these days to look at properties, virtually tour them… rule out bad properties, etc. What Steve brings to the table are all the most important skills and experience that the internet can’t give you. I don’t write a lot of internet reviews, but in Steve’s case I wanted to make sure to go on record with my positive experience. I can’t say enough amazing things about Steve Nemeth. He is the best realtor that I’ve ever worked with. Steve helped me buy my first property, which was a 2b+2b condo in Toluca Lake, about 5 years ago. It was an absolutely beautiful place and he helped me get it for a killer deal. Steve always told us «it just takes one». Well after multiple offers and some disappointment we found the «one». Steve would check out aspects of the homes and give advice on things we never thought to consider. He was very patient and made us feel at ease in a stressful time. He is still helping us to find handymen, etc to this day. We love Steve and will definitely use him again in the future!

We wouldn’t have gotten this great house if it wasn’t for Steve. Our needs were unreasonable — we have a big family, little money, and we have to be near the city and work. We were in escrow for three months. Following crises after crises, Steve kept the deal alive as the seller got increasing hostile. Finally, we closed escrow.
Then, after the sale, Steve was there with recommendations of contractors — all of whom were great. I highly recommend Steve Nemeth.

I have no idea why it’s taken me so long to finally get a review up here for Steve… since we go way back. I was referred to Steve by a friend which was huge for me. Steve has never let me down. I’ve used Steve on the buying end, the selling end and off and on for general advisement.
