The customer service is good. Although, they do seem to be understaffed. The line is always long. There seems to be a high concentration of transient people who visit this location — lots of bags and wires everywhere. I often get asked for spare change.

I asked for a decaf, but they didn’t have any. They said they would give me Americano. It was so weak it was undrinkable. Then when I brought it back they wee indignant. AVOIDTHISPLACE.

I visited Starbucks on November 14, 2015 at 9:16 am. While waiting in line I watched two employees prepare a bagel for an African-American woman. As one employee placed the bagel into the bag the other employee was holding, the bag and the beagle fell to the floor. The male employee quickly scooped the bag and its contents off the floor and handed it the the unsuspecting woman and told her to have a nice day. The Five-Second Rule does NOT apply to restaurants! I have enclosed the«exact» date and time so Managment can check the security cameras to Varify my claim.

I love this Starbucks! I’m here on a daily basis during week days. The service is great and the whole staff is extremely friendly and fast. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Worst service location ever! Always the same terrible morning staff, always have to ask for my money back. I Feel this location has a race issue. The blacks are always left waiting unless they have a white friend. Shame on you Starbucks! This location really doesn’t deserve any stars.

Both of my chai lattes were so diluted that we didn’t want to drink any of it after the first sip. I should have tried it before leaving the place so that they could remake it. $ 8 wasted.

This Starbucks gets 2 stars because the new girl helping me at the counter was very short and curt and couldn’t smile to save my life. The girl who made my drink was very sweet but the girl behind the counter… well she should NOT be behind the counter taking orders if she is going to not be welcoming to guests.

This is, unfortunately, the closest Starbucks to my office. The people who work there are all super nice, but SOOOOOO slow, and frequently mess up simple orders. There could be three people in line, and it will still take me longer than the busiest Starbucks in town to get my order, and chances are about 50% that it will be wrong. This morning, the girl added a turkey bacon sandwich to my order — no idea how, as I was ordering breakfast of two pastries, and two coffees. She short changed the woman in front of me by $ 5, and then made the woman wait ten minutes while she took my order and got my coffees before opening the drawer to give her the money. I was floored by the stupidity and lack of ability to prioritize or multitask, but it seems to come with the territory at this Starbucks.

I swear I’m NOT a coffee junkie. I’m one of the rare breeds that can function without it. Hahaha! While visiting Dave & Busters across the way I decided to get a sugary drink. YUMM! Walk to the door and peak in, there’s more than 6 people in line…“NOPE! I refuse to do this, I will not stand around and wait with the people that MUSTHAVE their coffee,” is what I said… in my head. LoL So we went back to D&B. After being in D&B for over an hour with my kids, ummmm yeah. I needed that sugar rush now. Hahaha! So we went back, and yaaaay… it was safe! We were the only ones at the register! Score! Again, I’m NOT a coffee junkie so I just chose what was new, The Caramel Ribbon Crunch. Extra caramel and less crunch please! LoL I was happy to get my drink, and was so busy telling my son I didn’t want to share that I forgot to take a picture of my drink. Oh well, trust me. It was GOOD! LoL BTW…the lady who helped us was nice and busy laughing at us, and with me because I kept refusing to share.

In town from NorCal for my bro-in-law’s wedding and offered to provide coffee at the reception. Peter(and the rest of the staff) came through for us. Even though he had no cambros(the 5 gallon servers) for us to use in store, he took the time to call around to other stores. In the end, we were able to provide coffee to 200 guests(SAMEDAY!) transporting two cambros vs 20 travelers!!! Amazing customer service!!!

I’m here on a weekly basis the people are nice and the service is good. There’s usually a long line of people and they get you through quickly. I order chai a lot and they seem to be skimpy on the chai… So I have to ask for extra most of the time. Great place.

Ordinary Starbucks, clean and trendy store, friendly staff and fast service, the long waiting line during peak hours though.

The staff is what makes this a 5 star review. Christian, Seth, Peter, Kevin, Bri, Jaz, Gina, and the former Manager Julian are the best. They greet me every time I come in. They’ve been trained very well as they are out going as well as warm and friendly. They go above and beyond in making a fine crafted drink as well as asking about my day. They take a genuine interest in me. My co workers all share the same feelings towards this crew at Starbucks. We visit about 3 – 4 times throughout the day. It’s a breath fresh of air to walk over and know you can see a friendly face, as well as enjoy a special treat to keep your day going.

Ha! Guess what? Someone works across the street from Starbucks and his name is Richard. Love coming here for my 15 min breaks. The walk from my desk is like 5 min :) Peaceful and clean with plenty of seating in and outside. All is good as far as service and bevs go. Always happy people making great custom drinks at your liking. This Starbucks I would say is limited pretty much to the locals who work in the Howard Hughes Plaza and the Promenade guest. Making it often not that busy. Looks like that Gold card will be rewarded sooner than later this year.

This Starbucks has the worst service levels I’ve ever experienced at any starbucks; with 4 partners/baristas present, they are unable to work effectively to get orders out per starbucks standard service level time. I think a new deployment structure would certainly help this place. I feel co-erced to come here by default of my workplace located in the Howard Hughes plaza. They do not even hand out beverage recovery certificates when one is waiting for a simple short Americano. Absolutely ridiculous!

I’m a fan of Starbucks in general so with this location being right across the street from work, it means I’m here too often. As mentioned by others, this is a tough store to visit because it’s $ 3 to park here, which is great for those of us who frequent it. It’s not too crowded, there’s rarely a long wait, the store and staff are relaxed and friendly. The seating inside is usually full but there’s plenty of seating outside to enjoy my latte and the usually beautiful weather.

This is the Starbucks at the Hughes Promenade, which isn’t very convenient to get to unless you work /live in the area or are here already. Parking in the lot is cost prohibitive, if you’re coming here just to get Starbucks then you’re in for a shock, as they don’t allow grace period parking. But that’s an issue to take up with the parking management, I was here to kill time before the movie started upstairs at the CineMark theater. It’s a Starbucks which is everywhere; this place is very clean and the baristas are really nice and pleasant. There are plenty of tables as well as outside seating, and free Wifi, which is stable and fast enough. Whenever I pass by it’s pretty crowded, most likely from people having eaten at nearby restaurants or who work in the office buildings next door. A lot of the stores have closed though, there are surprisingly a lot of empty spaces. A couple of big places have opened here — Dave & Busters and Buffalo Wild Wings too, but I suspect this Starbucks will be at the Hughes Center here until the end. The lack of competition, brand recognition, and office buildings nearby is a good sustainability model I would venture It would be so much better though if they offered free parking.

On my quest to find the perfect Starbucks, I found myself at this location in LA. I wasn’t sure what I was in the mood for but the bartista lead me in the direction of their Vizio handmade sodas. My selection for today was the fresh ginger soda. And an excellent selection it was they used real ginger it was spicy and sweet but not in a can of way. I noticed at the Starbucks has excellent reviews so that was very encouraging and they aren’t that bad! They had excellent customer service skills even when the rush of people came in. If I ever came back to this area I would come here again. This Starbucks is worth its weight in Gold Cards lol.

The staff here is what makes this a five star Starbucks. Super friendly and accommodating. I love how they ask you while you are still in line if you’d like a breakfast item so that it’s ready about when your drink is. I’m very impressed with the way they handle the floods of people that come in at once… with efficiency and a smile. I’m thrilled since this is one of the few places open for me to hang out in while my son attends pre preschool at Gymboree. They are also the only place in the Howard Hughes Center that validates parking. Win win.
