I have been going to Solidago for 2 years now. I realized when I turned 30 that I needed a better skin regimen and help getting my skin to it’s best. I found Solidago on Unilocal and made an appointment. I love getting facials from Massi so much! Not only does she do an amazing job during the facial, she recommends products and helped me build my skincare regimen over time. My skin has never looked better!

Massie is truly the BEST facialist in all of Los Angeles. My sister and I have both been getting treatments with her for about 2 years now and I can’t rave enough about her. Massie uses very high-​quality products and equipment, and the facility is extremely clean. Massie’s demeanor is gracious and kind, and she makes me feel so relaxed and comfortable. The quality of her work is impeccable. Thank you Massie for all that you do!

If you are looking for people that are educated in their field and know how to give you the best skin ever, Solidago is the place. I recently had a facial with Fe, it was honestly the perfect balance of relaxation and results! Not to mention this place is ridiculously affordable. Can’t wait to come back for my next appointment!

I have been getting facials for years and years (!) I looooveee Massi! She is amazing and such a lovely woman! Very knowledgable about skincare and is very gentle! Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and calm experience, please call Solidago!

Massie, the owner is UNBELIEVABLE!!! I have been going to her for at least 12 years… She has recently started doing the Derma-​pen (micro-​needling) and the red light! She is second to none when it comes to education and service! They say you get what you pay for… in her case– YOU GET MORE! Reasonable and always up on whats new– It’s the one thing, I really do for myself!

I have been going to Massi now for a couple of years for electrolysis and I have to say she is AMAZING! She is always on time which I love and she is so professional. The results have been amazing and I am so happy with her work. I feel so relaxed when I go because the atmosphere is very calming, clean, and the music makes you fall asleep. She is SO sweet and I am so happy that I found this place!

I’ve been frequenting Solidago for over fifteen years. I don’t really post on Unilocal,but I use it from time to time, albeit cautiously, as, let’s face it, some of the reviews are just plain biased, personal attacks based on a random and individual experience. I saw some such review for Solidago and for the care and treatment Massie provides her clients. I’m shocked. First of all, Massie’s services, in dermatology and electrolysis, are unrivaled! She’s the best I’ve ever had!
Massie does have a staple rule, though, and that is punctuality. I’ve run businesses, so I can relate. If you’re late, you cost me money and, more importantly, you affect the experiences of subsequent customers. I treat others the way I wish to be treated, so, when I make an appointment, I keep it. If I can’t keep it, I let Solidago know 24 hours ahead of time. If I miss it, I pay for it.
Massie’s environment is super clean and every time I go to her for treatments, I feel like I’m the first person who’s stepped foot into that room! This takes time, time she commits before and after each client in order to ensure that the next client’s experience equals the previous client’s experience and so on.
Massie knows her stuff. She consults me on dermatological care and she knows ME! So that every time I visit with her, the treatment respects that visit; it’s never the same experience twice. Each experience builds on the previous; she progresses and evolves with my needs, which is incredible! I don’t know many businesses that do that; I don’t know anybody like Massie!
Massie cares about her clients. As I said, she knows me; I’ve been going to her for fifteen years. That familiarity and trust is not something I take lightly. Massie treats me like a respected individual; I know I am valued and I know I am cared for by someone who really has my best interest at heart.
Thank you, Massie! I hope to continue with you for another fifteen years!
And, to the haters, please… I’m sure the error was one of self. Use Unilocal for what it is meant to be, a forum to enrich our community; don’t use it to spread vitriol or carry out personal vendettas. All that does it hurt all of us, including the perpetrator.

I love Solidago Skin Care. I have been going to Massie for about 10 years, and will continue to go to her. I am always happy with her Brazilian waxes. I have to say Massie has magic hands because her waxes are quick and don’t really hurt! She is outstanding. Solidago Skin Care is super clean, has great service and is very affordable. Highly recommend!

I love Massie. I’ve been seeing her for about 8 years & I’m sad to leave her! I’m moving back east and I don’t think I’ll find a better esthetician. I’ve recommended her to many friends & colleagues and they’ve also gave her rave reviews. The service is great & discreet. She has very affordable prices along with a great line of products. You can go anytime and find plenty of street parking (of course, watch out for the signs). You won’t be disappointed.

this place is amazing! Massie is absolutely wonderful. I received an amazing facial from her and now have a standing appointment with her once a month. this place is also extremely affordable. just a great place in general, very clean, everyone is friendly, and the facials are awesome. a definite must try! so make an appointment and fix that pimply face of yours!

I am so so so happy with the Brazillian I just got! It was the least painful a Brazillian can be, quick, and efficient! I feel like a naked mole rat! lol. Customer service is excellent! Diane is the woman to see for a GREAT wax!

The reviews say it all! Massey is AMAZING. She is the most polite woman and she does her job perfectly. She also schedules her appointments very well so she is never one minute late. The 2 reviews here who had problems with the salon are not a good representation of the quality and service you get at Solidago. The staff are so friendly and it is SO CLEAN.
Also, street parking is very convenient! I’ve never spent more than one minute finding a spot often right across from the salon and I have been there 20+ times.
I highly highly recommend it!

The customer service is horrible! I have never encounter anything like this before.
Messi, the owner is very rude! I didn’t know that this place does not have a parking for customers. I got there 10 minutes before my appointment and couldn’t find parking. I’ve been going up and down the busy street till I found a spot. Due to the parking situation I was late 6 minutes. Messi came out of her room very unfriendly asking me to leave because I was late 6 minutes. VERY unprofessional!!! She didn’t even let me explain, just said you should leave because I have another customer coming soon. EXTREMELY rude! Avoid her if you can.

So Massie has this amazing machine that feels like your getting a massage and it breaks down and removes cellulite!!! No joke, my entire life I have had shame about my legs and this procedure is amazing!!!

I’ve been coming to this salon and seeing Massie for several years now. I go to her not only because she is an excellent and skilled facialist, but because she takes the time to listen and truly cares that her clients have a good experience. I have struggled with my skin for years and have been quite self conscious about it. Massie has helped improve the quality of my skin and helped me see myself more clearly. I go every 6 weeks ago and am impressed that my skin keeps improving. Thank you Massie… I adore you!!!

Molly was my esthetician. I have combination oily/​dry skin that leads me to be very acne prone.
The facial service she provides ($ 65) has been very helpful in keeping my skin blemish free. I can tell that she does lack in thoroughness or attentiveness to her clients. I recall more than once hearing molly scrape the last bit of the mask or treatment out of the jar and opening a new one just for me. She also gave me a foot massage just so that I could have my mask on a bit longer. She does know her stuff regarding product, but she has never pushed me to buy anything which I admit is a rarity among skincare professionals now a days.
This is definitely one of the best deals in terms of price/​value point in the Westside, as I’ve tried the $ 125+ spas with disappointing results.
