Soffer Ari

I hope Unilocal doesn’t filter this review because i am giving it 5 stars.
I found this artist by accident, while looking for something for my boyfriend for Christmas. He builds choppers and and he is also very classy. I was looking at Baby King’ stuff but wasnt at all impressed and thats how i ran across Ari Sofffer. Baby king’s stuff is for sale on ebay… i got linked to it through google. I am not one to buy anything on ebay. but the ring by baby king came up there was also a ring on that page by Ari. I loved it! so i searched google for Ari Soffer and when i saw his stuff I was beside mys elf! I ordered the ring and i got it to day.
ait is stunning! absolutely beautiful, fine detail and craftsmanship. I highly recommend
if yuo are like me and love quality over quantity. and you are a bit of edgy rocker in you — oh yes this is the place to go!

I bought a custom camo wallet from Ari, the craftsmanship is amazing and every detail is looked after. Also, Ari’s work to me seems more classy and clean. not full on over the top romanticized designs like those of BWL or Travis Walker. But design preference is up to the buyer!
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
and I would surely suggest it to anyone who is interested in these luxury goods,
but is turned off by the overly Gothic look.
I also want to note that the leather he uses is absolutely great,
both in looks, touch, and durability.

The issue in the last review was Ari Soffer vs Chrome Hearts. Cost is not a concern.

I’ll stick with Chrome Hearts or better yet, flawlessly executed custom pieces from Matt Booth of Room101Silver.

I bought 2 silver pieces and 2 leather pieces in-​person from Ari at his shop.
Ari’s designs are beautiful and the diversity of his product line is quite impressive. I also appreciate the ability to talk with the (if just mildly rude) designer himself. However, I feel his eye for final detail/​fit is not up to my standards, giving Chrome Hearts the slight advantage. If I had been more important or famous, this *could* be different, though. It’s a good thing I didn’t purchase anything via his website!
If you’re less detailed, which most people are these days, don’t let MY view of his attitude and mild lack of attention-​to-​detail. He’s still got good looking stuff. Buy it.
Ari DID create a small empire, so his mild aire of superiority is understandable — I just don’t like detecting it when I’m adding MY few cents to his fortune. Also, new jewelry should be free of scratches/​gouges.
For the foreseeable future though, I will be buying my custom pieces from a gentleman named Matt Booth who has a company named «ROOM 101 SILVER» (
then click on Showroom at the top of the page and you’ll see the items).
Room101Silver makes insanely cool silver AND exotic leather accessories for his own star studded client list (Slash, Snoop, etc), however, Matt Booth has NONE of the attitude of the other two companies and has SUPERIOR communication before, during AND after purchase. I honestly felt «important» when buying from Matt.
Finally, though both Ari and Chrome Hearts items aren’t mass produced, the pieces I got from Room 101 were HAND ENGRAVED with Matt’s signature, my name and a (in the case of non-​custom pieces) unique serial #. Now THAT is definitely not mass production. :-) Too bad he doesn’t have a Unilocal page…
