There has never been another aesthetician to wax me as great as Simona. I have not once had an ingrown hair after seeing her… she is fast, fun, and meticulous about not leaving one strand of hair behind. There’s nowhere else I’d go to get waxed in all of Southern California!

Simona is the best!!! She talks to you and make you feel comfortable. You forget that she is waxing you… She is great…

I’ve been going to Simona for a few years now for bikini waxes and I would highly recommend her. Her prices are very reasonable ($ 45 for a brazillian) and it’s always easy to schedule appointments with her. I also like that she takes her time with you and makes sure she doesn’t miss any spots.
On a personal level she’s sweet and charming and a great conversationalist, which really helps distract me from the pain of the wax! Yes, they do still hurt as it’s a bikini wax after all, but she is gentle (never experienced scalding, bruising or bleeding, which unfortunately has happened before with other waxers).

My Sisters introduced me to Simona several years ago and have been a faithful client ever since! Besides her very spunky and kind loving personality Simona is great at what she does! Makes what can be an uncomfortable situation into a friendly talk between girls that you don’t even realize what’s really going on!

I’ve been Simona’s client for over 15 years. Yes, I know that means she started working when she was just a child, but even then everyone knew she was gifted ;) Truly, though, she is amazing.
I really never thought I’d look forward to a bikini wax, but I love visiting with Simona so much that I actually do. Of course it helps that she makes is virtually painless and is very careful and detailed. She also does my eyebrows, which I always get compliments on.
Simona is also very smart and funny, so it’s fun to talk with her about everything from world politics to the Kardashians. Becasuse she’s so talented, she does tend to book up, so make your appointments early!

I recently moved to the west side from down south and decided I’d like to find a local esthetician. I’m really particular about how my brows are done and even one of the «top salons» in Beverly Hills couldn’t get it right. I’m sure everyone will agree when I say that it can be scary going to a new person for the first time. But my fellow Unilocalers did not steer me wrong with their recommendations for Simona! Once you go you’ll never look back. Seriously, she is the best of the best. Not only does she know what she is doing, but she’s super awesome, funny and friendly – I felt like we were old friends within minutes of my first appointment. Your appointments will never be dull! My boyfriend even notices the difference between her work and the last person I went to. And a nice bonus is that whatever wax she uses does not make me break out or irritate me, and that’s a first!

When you get compliments on how great your eyebrows look just a few hours after having them waxed, you KNOW you have a great aesthetician.
Simona is sweet, fun, energetic and wonderful to be around. Seriously — getting wax poured on your face and having it yanked off isn’t always the highlight of a woman’s day. But Simona makes the whole experience enjoyable with her joyful personality.
I am always nervous when going to someone new for my eyebrows because you never know what they consider to be a «good shape.» Sometimes it’s lovely, sometimes it’s scary. But with Simona, my eyebrows look fantastic — she did a perfect job shaping them and it has made such a difference in the way my face looks.

Simona is my go to gal for waxing. She waxes my legs and bikini and does a great job. She is gentle, efficient and friendly. My sister sent me to Simona because I was complaining my previous waxes were painful and I would get a lot of ingrown hairs. Not with Simona. She is a skillful aesthetician. Once you go to her, you will agree that she is the best!

I saw Simona for the first time about a month ago and she did an awesome job on my bikini wax. I’ve been getting waxed for years and my usual person was out of town, so I needed to find someone to wax me before my trip to Las Vegas. I usually get just a basic wax, but Simona talked me into a taking everything off, expect for the landing strip. I thought Simona did a great job, the wax was pretty painless and I will definitely be going back to her in the future.

Simona is great! I was a bit apprehensive because I just moved out here and needed to find someone who knew what they were doing. Simona def knows! She puts you at ease, her office is clean and she does a fantastic job. She is also great with working around your schedule plus she validates. So glad i found her.

Smooth Skin is the perfect name for Simona’s business. She is an amazing aesthetician and phenomenal at what she does. I never knew waxing could be so pleasant and clean. The product she uses is nothing like the wax you will find at the nail shop, oh, no, no, no. I hesitate to even call it wax. It’s consistency is more like a velvety pink soup… her magic pepto if you will, but the wonderfully exfoliated and luxurious soft skin left behind is a true treat for the senses. No sticky mess left to worry about and since she uses and antibacterial solution after the treatment there’s no irritation or any of the unpleasantries to worry about either. Only glorious sexy smooth skin to be carressed…
I love her soft touch and attention to detail… it is crucial. ;)

Simona is f**king awesome!!! She is a professional who makes you feel at ease with your legs in the air. She takes the time to get it right. She makes sure you leave her salon feeling and looking fantastic. There isn’t a better salon in all of Los Angeles!

I took my daughter who is almost 14 years old, to get her eyebrows waxed for the first time. Needless to say, my daughter was extremely anxious about the pain. Simona did her eyebrows quickly and efficiently and they looked great! Of course my daughter was a little red afterwards, but the redness quickly disappeared within an hour. I have been driving far away to get my eyebrows done, but now with Simona right in my neighborhood, she is my «go to» person from now on!

Thanks to my friend Lisa G. I was able to find this wonderful person. When I first started going to Simona I had recently moved back up to south LA/​North OC area, and was in needed of a waxer. I was tempted to go back to my girl in San Diego, just because you don’t want to mess with waxing. Yeah I was insane to drive from the OC at the time, but she is worth it, trust me!
The minute I met Simona, I was impressed. The place she is located in is adorable, and parking was easy to find. Right away she wanted to do something different with my brows. For the first time in my life, I let someone I didn’t know do something different with them. Anyone who knows me I don’t deal with change well. But I gave her artistic expression.
So don’t listen to your friends when they say «go to the nail place and get it done for $ 10 dollars. No offense to those ladies, but seriously a good waxing defines you, it makes you feel good. If you go to one of those 10 places, stop right now, and book with Simona, trust me you won’t be sorry.

Simona is great!!! She’s the first and only waxologist I’ve ever seen, (referred from a friend.) The wax she uses is top-​of-​the-​line so it doesn’t hurt as much. And she always chats with you and makes you feel at home during the whole process, very sweet lady. She’s my other monthly friend that I actually look forward to seeing if you know what I mean —
I know people make their appts with her sometimes months in advance but I always make mine like a week in advance and she always has time for me (although I tend to go right after work or during lunch.)

Simona is a doll! I have gone to three different waxing salons and hers are by far the best and most reasonably priced. Plus she talks a mile a minute and makes you feel very comfortable that you’re sitting on her table with your knickers on the chair.
I’ve also been to Pink Cheeks, which does a quick and dirty (cheap) job, and Wax On Spa in Portland, which is the most expensive.
I’ve already scheduled my summer appointments with Simona but she always has a fairly flexible schedule if you call her at least two weeks out.

I consider myself a veteran waxee and Simona does a great job. Her work is quick and consistent every time. She has never bruised me or removed skin. I usually get the Playboy and an eyebrow wax and I always get unsolicited compliments on my brows.
She is also great to talk to. I don’t need a therapist because I have Simona. It’s a twofer.
Simona will do the whole under carriage without batting an eye. I find her prices to be normal. I don’t think she is over priced for what she does!!!
