History
Established in 1984.
Skin Sense Wellness Spa has been in business for over twenty years and is renowned for its customized service. Your initial spa visit includes a consultation that covers lifestyle and its effects on the skin and aging. We also keep detailed records and update your information and treatment protocols as needed so that you can call us at any time with questions. All the spa technicians have lots of experience and combine their knowledge with a friendly approach that creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that you will want to revisit time and time again. Although Skin Sense has its fair share of celebrities to care for, the spa welcomes everyone who wants a youthful, glowing skin no matter what age they might be. Both men and women are welcome and we encourage teenagers to come and experience their first facial as soon as puberty starts creating hormonal havoc!
Open seven days a week we cater to your busy schedules and sell gift certificates for every service we offer.
Meet the Business Owner
Marion S.
Business Owner
During the twenty-five years I have spent in the skin care industry, I have been a business owner, facialist, educator and writer, helping to launch Skin Inc, a trade magazine that is still in print. Through these collective experiences, I have developed a passion for the concept of wellness — that overall state of balance that keeps our bodies and minds healthy and our skins vibrant and glowing. I call this succesful aging.
My consultancy experience includes developing a salon retail skin care line for Sebastian International; promoting a mass market skin care line called Le Systeme for the DEP Corporation (including an infomercial with Tippi Hedron), as well as an infomercial for the Biozheme Corporation USA with Lindsay Wagner to introduce Nouricel, a new bioengineered cosmeceutical later picked and marketed by Estee Lauder.
Working on the skin also means improving every client’s image and self esteem. This is a responsibility I both relish and take seriously.
