Six Autosound & Window Tint

Wednesday night I sent out 4 quote requests to local tint places. Six Autosound & Window Tint hit me back Thursday morning with a quote that beat the competition by $ 20. Since I live close to Six, I decided to support local and went on in. I rolled up to six and was guided in by the owner who was standing outside. I parked right in front and he welcomed me and we went inside. As soon as I saw the G wagon with the custom paint in there garage I knew I would be taken care of. Anyways, we were inside and we were going over the different shades and before I knew it I had made my decision. For $ 170 out the door, I got all the windows done including the sun strip on the front windshield. He told me it would be two hours so I went over to a couple shops to run some errands. I called him about two hours later and he said the car was finished and to come pick it up. When I got there, everything looked good. One of his employees took a walk around to make sure everything was done properly and he gave me the okay. I went inside, paid and then I left. I was told to wait three days for the film to cure to the windows and to not touch anything or roll down the windows. The three days have passed and I can tell you with confidence that this place is legit. My car looks really dope. I got pics to prove it. If you want to get your windows tinted I would strongly recommend Six. Cool people, honest people and great service.

I called in a few days prior to make an appointment to tint my VW with no problem. Once I arrived, the complete «in and out» process was less than an hour. I was beyond pleased with the speediness and collaborative work Six put into completing my tint. On top of that, the tint job was amazing!!!
I’ve since had 2 family members visit Six for the tinting of their cars and I’ll be back soon as I’ve replaced my VW with another car.

Came in on Friday night to install some led lights and this guys are the best fast and pros they know what they doing I was calling other places saying they gonna need to remove this remove that this guy didn’t do none of that make sure to make this place ur spot for hid and window tints …

Needed window tint so I called to check their price– it was good so I asked if they could tint today and he said come on by! Great price and he explained all my options throughly. If I need another car tinted I would bring it by in a heartbeat. Very professional and priced right.

I went to 6 AUTOSOUND recently and got a complete brand new sound system on my 2013 Harley Davidson I am absolutely grateful happy and satisfied with the work that David and his crew did they even stayed late to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the upgrades and modifications that needed to be done with the install of the system David was very attentive and let me know what was going on every step of the way with my Harley I appreciated that awesome job guys

Made an appointment to tint 2 cars and they can only take 1 cause their backed up??? Lol is that my problem? If you promised 2 cars then you take 2 cars even if you have to close late! WORST EVER!

I ended up getting a newer E92 335i M-​Sport in Mineral White and I wanted to take my audio setup from my previous car and have it installed in my new baby. I knew exactly where to go and obviously I came back to David at Six Autosound. As with the first time, the customer service was phenomenal and he kept his word on the installation time. Just like last time where he asked for an hour, an hour was needed this time around, and it was done within said time constraints. David, you have a wonderful business going on here and you treat customers with respect, give awesome prices, and really treat your loyal customers well – as I’m certainly a loyal customer. Your staff is top-​notch and very friendly!

Excellent customer service.
The owner, David was more than willingly to listen to me ponder back and forth over a simple Bluetooth radio for my Jeep. He even talked to my dad on the phone to reassure him! I was in and out within an hour. He was very professional and didn’t overcharge like a lot of other radio installation spots. I love my new radio!
Book an appointment when you can. He gets super busy!

OK, It’s been a few weeks since I got the tint installed. and It seems to be a job well done.
So, in terms of quality of work, yes, it is commendable (At least for now) but just make sure that you are able to spend a good chunk of your day on this, especially if you are going on a weekend.
My experience wasn not awesome in terms of the experience, but for the reason I went there, the tint, it seems they did a solid job.
I keep my rating at 2 stars because I have experiened better.

No appointment just showed up n they help me out right away got my windows n taillights tinted, nice ac inside plus iPhone charger big plus thanks guys good job

Honest-​to-​God best window tint place in the area.
Price is solid, work is good and fast, good customer service. Not much more you can ask for.
They have done all my cars that I have owned. They beat their competitors’ prices by so much that even if you use coupons and Unilocal deals at other places, this place beats it with their standard prices.
Don’t go anywhere else for your window tint.
I even got backup camera and navigation installed here for a previous car and they were awesome with that too.

My friend who lives around the corner got her windows tinted here and was very pleased. I live 35 miles away and made an appointment for 3 p.m. on a Saturday. I show up at 3:20 and was turned away because I was late. True I could have called you but I was driving, racing to make it on time in LA traffic. Could you not have called me? I got an I’m sorry and that’s all folks. That is not how you run a business and keep customers coming back. Hello, my Persian family alone could have made you millions. You’re loss. Bye Felicia.

So, wow, yeah these guys were totally legit. The owner is so extremely nice and helpful and informative. Highly recommended!!! Came in under budget and on time, couldn’t be more pleased.

I have been here twice to get a sun visor tint and to install halo fog lights.
They did an amazing job on my fog lights. I would return to this location to get any electrical installation done.

Great place to get your car windows tinted! A couple of friends recommended this place to me and I am so glad I made the drive to Koreatown for the tints. The price for my Prius was much cheaper than other places and they did a perfect job. The guys gave me helpful suggestions and it turned out just the way I wanted it to. I waited less than a couple of hours on a weekend. There are many cafes, salons, massage places that are walking distance so there’s lots to do while you wait. The workers are all very friendly too!

David and his team did an awesome job on my Porsche Boxster installing an Alpine sound system with amp. They made the dash speakers look original and added two 6.5 inch speakers in the doors. Now, I can finally hear the music clearly at 80 mph. Did all in one day too. Plus, one of his team members installed my newly purchased Porsche cup holders and didn’t even charge me for it. I was very happily surprised. I tipped, of course, and that was greatly appreciated. I will go back for clear ceramic window tint and recommend this shop to my friends.

Oh, and I did shop around. Not only did he have a great price, he really knows what he’s doing. He’s worked on many Porsches and high end luxury cars. This makes a big difference. Another shop wasn’t even sure if they could install door speakers. When that happens, walk away haha!

The owner is friendly and honest. They charged me literally m half the price I was quoted at Al & Ed’s Auto Sound in West Hollywood and also half the price I was quoted at Find It All Car Stereo on Vermont & 5^th.
Half!!! As in $ 300=$ 150
it’s really worth it to have a reasonably priced business. Now you have a costumer forever that will keep referring friends and family.
They are more than professional and very patient with incredibly picky people.

Just had my new Lexus hybrid tinted here and was really impressed with my visit. The owner David and other guys here do a quick job and really made sure I was happy with the tint job. Learned a thing or two about how not to mess up my paint too, haha. Will recommend Six autosound and tint to all friends and family.

I installed an auxiliary input in my car via an FM modulator 4 years ago. It suddenly stopped working.
I went to another shop (also rated highly on Unilocal and nearby). They said they did not even use FM modulators anymore but MIGHT be able to fix mine. The other option would be to spend about $ 250 to install an integrated aux input that did not use FM but went directly to my stereo for better sound. They quoted me $ 60 to diagnose the issue, which I could NOT put towards the cost of installing a new aux if they were unable to repair my existing set up. Nothing wrong with any of this.
I called Six Autosound and they said they’d be able to either fix my issue or install a new FM modulator for $ 100. I decided to go with them and get ceramic tints on my front driver and passenger side as well. Total price: $ 200
I came back and ended up paying only $ 120. Turns out all that needed to be fixed was an issue with the fuse that my existing setup was connected to.
REALLY appreciated that. These dudes could have simply told me that everything needed to be replaced or tried to squeeze more $ out of me but opted for the simple, less costly, less time consuming fix instead.
Once I find a trust worthy shop I always go back even if it’s out of my way.
Did a great job on the tint too. Will always go back to these guys for this car and my next one as well.
Tip: «Awesome Coffee» is nearby, has good coffee, plenty of seating and great wifi. I watched netflix here while I was waiting for everything to get done.
