History

Established in 2012.

I’ve been into photography as a hobby since the mid 90’s and decided to develop my love for the art into a more focused business. Since Shealy Shots inception it has quickly grown in popularity.

My primary focus is customer satisfaction. I always want my customers to be elated with their photos and retouched images. Providing quality and friendly service at a great price is the ongoing ideal of Shealy Shots.

Brandon is and exceptional not only photographer, but fellow human being. I was recommended by my now ex-​agent and I gotta tell you he is the only good thing that came out of that business relationship. He sincerely went out of his way to help me get the exact shots I wanted and needed. He also does a great job with natural lighting and fixing your final pictures so that you look your best, but always natural. I loved working with him and hope to do so again in the future.
P. S. My mom also loved him and his work ethic!

Had such a lovely experience taking my first headshots with Brandon. He’s great. Super disarming and pleasant to be around, he created a relaxed atmosphere which yielded very natural photographs. He’s also charging 1990s prices, folks. Very affordable. Thank you Brandon!

To add another shiny five stars here, it was truly a benefit to have worked with Brandon recently. A+ for being professional, detailed, flexible, personable and diligent. The entire shoot was a great and ridiculously fun experience! The results are FANTASTIC and I’m super excited to add these to the casting sites. I’ve researched many photogs in LA. He was very responsive when I first reached out to him and on the photo shoot day itself, he was on-​time and very professional. This is a great place to get shots done at a reasonable price. Brandon is cool and makes you feel right at ease which is really great in a headshot photographer, since you want to look good and comfortable in front of a camera. He really works with you, your style and what your looking to accomplish. Maybe I’ll go back for some boudoir photography, just for fun! ;-)
There are a lot of headshot photographers out there, and it can be pretty overwhelming to choose one, so this is definitely one I’d recommend.

I conversed with Brandon a couple of years ago but we finally got to meet and shoot this past weekend! I was so happy and impressed with all of my photos! I felt comfortable and he was he was super chill and NICE-​not like those other conceded photographers here in l.a. I started working with Brandon a little over a month ago. Since then, I’ve recommended him to everybody I come across. To date, I’ve had three colleagues complete sessions and each have come away extremely pleased with Brandon’s work. Shealy doesn’t belabor the process and is very efficient at what he does. That said, he puts in the time to make sure you are happy with your look. I’m having a hard time putting up a review because I don’t want the secret to get out, but it’s the right thing to do and Brandon is a great guy. Truly a rising star in Hollywood. Thanks again, B!

My husband and I used Brandon to update our photos. I needed a corporate picture but wanted a more current and youthful look different than the typical conservative look that you often see in corporate pictures and feel Brandon did a really good job accomplishing what I wanted. My husband is in the entertainment field and he needed to update his head shots along with some special effect pics to capture his character, personality, and brand image of which Brandon captured very well.
We not only found Brandon to be a good Photographer but also very accommodating, fun to work with, and affordable.
All our pics were taken outdoors, which we really liked.
If you are looking for a versatile and competent Photographer, whom cares about what you want and delivers results… We highly recommend Brandon.

What a great experience! Finding an experienced, affordable, and professional photographer in L. A can be a task. When I met with Brandon for the first time, I felt completely comfortable and he made the shoot a lot of fun. Brandon has a great eye for photography. His backdrops, lighting and direction he gave was great. He got my photos back to me really fast and I did not have to even ask for them. Brandon and I decided on an unusual, industrial location to do my headshots. I had a good time and didn’t feel shy on camera. He did a great job on the retouching, my photos came out really well, but didn’t look photoshopped. I asked for a certain look and feel and he delivered. If you need a headshot photographer… I suggest you take a look at his portfolio and see if it appeals to you. They’re amaaaaazing for what he charges!

Brandon Shealy of Shealy Shots couples professionalism with a great photographic eye and his rates are very reasonable. He took some editorial, candid, and posed shots in our office and they truly captured the vibe and energy we struggled to get by taking photos ourselves.
