Scriptproofed offers proofreading services for TV pilot scripts, TV specs, feature screenplays, pitch documents, comic books, outlines, series bibles and more. Our editing review consists of a thorough technical edit focused on typos, grammar, formatting, and syntax.

In addition to aspiring and emerging TV and feature writers, our clients include professional writers working for entertainment companies such as HBO, NBC, Lifetime, Comedy Central, Warner Bros., 20^th Century Fox, Focus Features, and more.

Our work is strictly confidential, and we are happy to sign non-​disclosure agreements for the clients who provide them.

History

Established in 2011.

After years of editing friends’ scripts and cringing at the typos, grammatical errors, and formatting problems plaguing their work, I opened Scriptproofed. There are plenty of script consultants out there, but most readers do not edit your script as part of their services. Typos can be the reason your script ends up in the slush pile, a sad fate for content that may be great.

Business Owner

Eva is a writer and attorney living in Los Angeles. She’s worked in the entertainment industry for several years, including positions at Endeavor Agency (now WME), Paradigm Agency, and a handful of prominent television production companies. She loves Grammar Girl, M​-​W​.com, and her dog. Her life’s work will be complete when she never sees «judgement» in a script again.
