History

Established in 1984.

Started in May 1984 by a Korean immigrant named Mr. Lee, Sam’s Corner Liquor was the first convenience store of this size in LA to utilize walk-​in coolers for ice cold beverages. From then on, the business expanded to include a full produce section, a meat department, a USPS contract unit, and a Western Union to further the business to what it is today. After 30+ years, the store is now run by the second generation Mr. Lee.
